  1. Nope. No, but you're close. Especially if you're talking about the 1981 version.
  2. Yay!
  3. It's at the end of the infamous .As for your film, is it Blood Diamond?
  4. Ah well. Better to have lived 4 days as a lion than 1000 days as a sheep... Thanks for the great game Hinckley.
  5. Correct! Now go home, get your shinebox and post the next entry! ADHO15: 4 AndyC:1 RejectedShrimp: 4 simonjedi: 3 sok117: 3
  6. Cool idea BasOne! I'll give this game a go. I don't know how to use LDD, so here's a MOC I threw together real quick:
  7. Good morning everybody! ROAR! Anyone care for some lamb? I got a great deal on it this morning. Arsonist, killer, janitor... no, Lauren was the scum blocker. That was the one of the main reasons we voted her off, remember? Because it clashed with my role? Besides, I blocked her on Night 2, when 3 killers and the janitor struck. And Bristol Bunny? I blocked her on Night 1, when the crow killer attacked Horace. So we can throw that theory out the window. ROOAAR!!! I agree though, it seems likely Bristol was scum. Why else would the janitor want to get rid of her body? If she was a townie, we would've gained very little from learning her allegiance. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing Felix's explanation. ROOAARR!!!
  8. That's because I blocked her. She was unable to use her night action against you. Regardless, for reasons I've already stated, I'll vote: Lauren Lamb/Zepher. ROOAARR!!!
  9. That is an interesting possibility. If this is the case, I'm thinking it would be a tad overpowered if the scum were able to use this ability every night, so I wonder why they would've used it on Bristol? ROAR! We wouldn't have learned anything groundbreaking if he turned out to be a villager, so perhaps Bristol was scum after all? Assuming your janitor theory is correct, of course. Yes, it was mainly just a gut feeling. I didn't have any solid leads at the time but I had to pick someone. Bristol was one of the ones who jumped on the Edgar bandwagon and quickly retracted his vote once the tide began to turn. Oh, and he also got upset about my roaring. I figured he may have been trying to work out whether or not I had a post restriction that I needed to follow in order to use a night action. That strikes me as a little odd, because you two seemed to be on the same page by the end of the day. You thought I was part of the Demon Legion, yet that the person most actively trying to get me lynched was a member too? Sorry, do I still need to address something? ROOAAR! I can't find anything from yesterday I haven't answered yet. Personally, I do find the circumstances of Helen's revival a little odd, but considering the information she's told me, I'm inclined to believe her. Lauren seems to be making sense to me too, but I still can't believe there'd be two village blockers. Especially if our abilities can be passed on to other players, as was the case after Booker's death.
  10. Roar! Good morning everybody! I've got some lovely beef that needs cutting (I hope you don't mind, Cara ) at the moment, so I'll just say this: I blocked Lauren Lamb last night.
  11. I only said I might vote for you once in our entire conversation, and that was after you yourself said you weren't going to reveal anything until you had enough votes against you. I guess the freezing ability sounds plausible. I'm more a fan of Petrification Powder myself though. As I said, I was hoping to get everything straightened out with Lauren before giving anything away. Aside from that, I had nothing meaningful to add. For the same reason Edgar ended up revealing his role yesterday: because I've got a whole bunch of votes against me. If I'm going to go out, I'd rather waste the scum's night kill in the process. Anyway, a blocker is one of the weaker town roles in this game we call life. It's hardly a balance-tipping night action. Especially if, as you suggest, there could be more than one of us.
  12. The reason I haven't spoken up much is because I've been trying to clarify things with Lauren Lamb before I reveal what information I have. I'd might as well reveal this now though, because these private conversations have gotten us nowhere, and it's possible that the wrong person already knows about my role... I am the village blocker. I too was suspicious of Bristol Bunny, so I blocked her last night. We know the arsonist was about last night, and according to Horace the Demon Legion killer and protector were out too. So if Bristol is scum, it doesn't seem she has a night action. Anyway, after hearing that Lauren Lamb was possibly a blocker, I began to question her in private. She told me that she isn't the blocker, but is in contact with the blocker. I then asked her to clarify what the other blocker's magic power was called to see if it matches up with mine but she hasn't answered me since. I do find it rather odd that there'd be two town blockers in a game this small, so I can only assume that Lauren's contact is the Demon Legion blocker. ROOAARR!!! ROOAARR!!! ROOAARR!!!
  13. ROOAARR! This certainly is interesting. While the presence of an arsonist has now been confirmed, it is rather odd that he didn't choose to target Edgar, considering that Edgar implied that no other kind of protector would be able to stop the arsonist. I'm inclined to believe Horace. ROOAAARRR!!! No one else has presented an explanation for the red and green flashes that occurred last night, and lying about those would be a too risky a move for scum to make. Speaking of which, I'm still confused about these flashes. Do flashes occur every time magic is used? If so, it's rather odd we'd see so few of them. The implication I got was that the majority of our night actions are the result of the baker and his wife's magic gifts... ROOAARR!!!
  14. Good Morning everybody. ROOAARR!!! I can't believe there's an evil force lurking in our peaceful little village. This is very scary news indeed. ROOAARR!!! Unfortunately I don't have any meat available to offset everyone's nerves this morning, although I do have a lovely pair of jugs if anyone's interested.
  15. ROOAAR!!! I'm Lalzo Lion and I'm a butcher. ROOAAR!!! ... And I can't spell my name. ROOAARR!!!
  16. 1) 3784 Hugo Hog the Tinker. Now there's a trader I can admire. I wonder if he has any parchment on him as well? 2) D-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y. You're out of your mind. You want me to use these words and demonstrate their differences? Too bad, it's not going to happen. 3) None. Sign me up!
  17. Thanks for the great game Jim, it was a lot of fun to follow. I loved some of the odd roles you threw in, it really kept us all on our toes. The game may have been a little imbalanced, but it's great to see the town has finally won one - they've just broken a 7-game losing streak after all. Here's my role: I decided to side with the Villagers mainly because I thought the town had a huge advantage once they'd killed Zepher on the first day. I figured the werewolf faction only started off with one member, and that it had been destroyed already. Also, it's too hard to find scum. I wouldn't want to contact someone unless I'm 100% sure they're scum. How awkward would it be if I ended up telling a townie I was neutral? As always, I didn't really contribute much in the day threads, but here's what went on behind the scenes... - I originally tell Hinckley I'm the vigilante. - I tell Hinckley I didn't need silver bullets anymore, which backs up Inconspicuous's story that there aren't any werewolves left. - Hinckley tells me to kill Ricecracker. I say "sure, why not?" BANG! - I become really defensive about my witch hat. - Hinckley suggests I kill Admiral Ron. We end up agreeing to kill Bob. - I ask for protection, I'm told I'm too far under the radar to be a target. - Hinckley starts publicly going after all the inactives, apart from me. - Hinckley arranges for the mason to target me. He says that if the target wasn't a villager the mason would die. - I end up revealing I'm a neutral. - Hinckley tries to get me to kill Admiral Ron again. - We decide on Peanuts instead. - I die.
  18. That looks great SpyFlops, you really nailed the cartoony look of those overalls. I agree though, the choice of head is a little off. This is the best alternative I can think of: Otherwise, great work, I look forward to seeing more from you.
  19. The Four Horsemen When things are looking rosy and you're feeling fine, The skies are blue and it's sunshine time, Don't forget who's lurking just outside the door, It's Famine, Death, Plague and War!
  20. I see no reason to vote for Quinn today. Sure, targeting people flying under the radar can sometimes be a good idea, but I'm not comfortable convicting someone solely for that reason. It's understandable that a regular townie would be so quiet - we have so many active players contributing that it's difficult to add anything meaningful to the daily discussions.
  21. After thinking things through, I'm going to Vote: Sebastien Vaughn (Shadows) The way I see it, Mr. Vaughn's role is useless to us now. If he truly is our investigator, he will either be killed or blocked in the coming nights. There is little to gain by keeping him alive, but there's a lot we'll learn from his death.
  22. This certainly is interesting. Did the investigator find out what faction of scum Mr. Vaughn belonged to? Is he a werewolf, a rogue or just "evil"? It would be nice if we could get that cleared that up.
  23. Right, it looks like we know what we're going to do today, and most likely tomorrow too. Nice detective work everyone. Now I'd suggest we either protect (assuming they're able to protect against conversions) or get someone to find out who's targetting Harriet at night. That way, we should be able to prevent her from being converted, something she seems to be a prime candidate for at the moment. I feel it's very important for us to continue to have a confirmed townie we can all trust and confide in privately, and Harriet seems to be in the best position to fill this role.
  24. You didn't answer me. What did Mr. Phillips say to convince you he was a townie? And why is it that he chose to contact you? Can anyone else confirm that they received a message from Zed?
  25. ... And what did he tell you in these private conversations that convinced you? Remember, you're allowed to post what he told you, as long as it's paraphrased.
