  1. Yeah, your stalking was scary stuff. Every time I checked my profile page, I noticed you'd always visited it within the last half hour or so. So then I had to started viewing the old day threads to throw you off a little. It was crazy. But most of the time, I wasn't actually doing anything behind the scenes. I tend to keep a lot of tabs open, so I usually get sidetracked by other pages or sites while I'm reading the game threads. I guess I'm more like Betty "look, a pebble" Swallocks than I'd like to admit. I was mostly just having fun with my Day 4 defense, I didn't seriously expect to avoid getting lynched. I was just hoping to throw out a little confusion and maybe to make the action townies wary of contacting you until I'd been verified as scum. But none of that really worked. I guess it paid off a little when Bob ended up using the same defense as me and got lynched. Foog and Tammo, you did a great job considering what you were up against. It's just a shame we didn't kill enough of the informative roles, I'm sure you would've both gone a long way if the town hadn't managed to clear each other so quickly. I just saw another pebble, so I'll wrap this up and add more of my thoughts later. Thanks again Rufus and Pandora for hosting this awesome game. It was a lot of fun to follow, both as a participant and a spectator.
  2. Thanks for letting me play! It's clear you've put a lot of effort into this game. The MOCs, the photos and the lighting are all stunning. Great job.
  3. Yes, again you've come out on top, and again you're going to be lynched tomorrow. Y'know, because you're lying and all. Love you too. Mr. Anus, I can actually vouch for Mehmet in this instance. He did not in fact send me a letter that stated he was a cultist although it's painstakingly obvious he is one. But everything else I've said today is 100% true.
  4. That's your main evidence? A three-word letter? I didn't send that message. Anyone could've written that. That's not even my handwriting. I wasn't even aware we were allowed to quote private letters in public, but since you've brought them up, I've also received a letter that's been bugging me for a while. I'm sure everyone would love to see it: Care to explain yourself, Mehmet? No, I'm suggesting that he was converted last night. It's the only possible explanation I can find. I don't really care if the cultists killed someone on the same night as well, stranger things have happened in these holes in the desert before.
  5. Keep in mind that all these claims are complete and utter lies, and haven't been verified by anyone but his scummy buddies. It's interesting that no mention has been made of the tracker who was supposed to confirm that I was in fact investigating Mr. Goodenarde last night. But don't let me put you off Mr. Anus. I encourage you to vote for me. It's the only way you're going to learn who the true cultists are. And you can write all the plays you want, Mehmet, it's not going to change the fact that I'm going to turn up Innocent tomorrow. Enjoy your day of freedom, because tomorrow we'll all be watching you and your team mates try to squirm your way out of a lynching. I hope you've all rehearsed your oinking already.
  6. Well done, you've just outed the investigator. I'm useless now, there's no chance I'll be able to get any more investigative results from this point on, I'm either going to be blocked or killed in the nights ahead. The only results you're going to be getting now will be the BS ones from Bluto and Mehmet. It seems Mehmet left a very important part our conversation out: when I investigated Roger Goodenarde last night, he checked back as a Cultist. Since I confirmed that Mehmet himself was Innocent yesterday, I have no idea why he would leave this bit of info out, and I've literally hurt my brain trying to work it out. The only logical conclusion I can come to is that Mehmet must've been converted last night, and doesn't want to reveal one of his new team mates to you. Well, your plan's backfired Mehmet, and as soon as you lynch me today, the town's going to realise that I am in fact innocent, and that you, Roger, and Bluto are the remaining cultists. ???? I never said anything of the sort. I told you I was a little reluctant to reveal to you that I was the investigator because you are a prime target for conversion. I never requested for you not to reveal the information. In fact, it was YOU who offered not to reveal my investigation result. I told you that I saw no harm in you revealing the information. Why would I do this if I wasn't the investigator and knew that Mr. Fitzwilliam's investigator was still out there (since only virgins had been killed at that point, no one with night actions)? It's clear at this point that you're just making BS up, so I'll stop talking now. It doesn't matter if I'm lynched at this point. Clearly the scum all know who I am at this point, so my investigative powers aren't going to be of any use. Obviously I'm not a virgin either, nor have I been particularly active in the day threads. So you have nothing to lose. But once I'm dead, there'll be plenty of people with some explaining to do. Please, go ahead and lynch me. Only then will you realise how much you're being played. Also, wasn't I supposed to be tracked last night? Perhaps the tracker can confirm that I did in fact investigate Goodenarde last night?
  7. Yay, I got an award! Not sure how I managed to pull it off though, since I didn't even play in Bloodbrick II, let alone implode in it. Congratulations to everyone else! There are some great awards there, you should all be very proud.
  8. I've already voiced my suspicions about Mustafa earlier today. Now in light of Murgatroyd's and Ishaq's further evidence, I'm going to Vote: Mustafa Nidia (Brickdoctor).
  9. My apologies, I'm not sure how that got into my notes. Looking back, it was Fitzwilliam's reveal of the cultist's virgin win condition I must've been thinking of, although all those who voted for him did so after he'd mentioned this. It goes without saying that we should be voting for the most suspicious people. What I meant was that voting for suspicious people claiming night actions should take priority over voting for suspicious people claiming virgin. We did not know at this point that Melaena and the snake psychiatrist were one and the same, so I was suggesting we vote for the person who's made a scummy night action claim over the person who has appeared scummy but has not made a night action claim. You see, there is a risk that someone who hasn't made a night RC may in fact be a virgin, and our lynching them will bring the scum a step closer to achieving victory. The worst case scenario of voting for the psychiatrist on the other hand is that we lose a night action (and one that could potentially produce an extra virgin for the scum to kill at that), but the scum technically do not come any closer to winning. As I've said, I didn't vote for Ms. Stools at that point because I felt the psychiatrist may be a better target for lynching. The next time I checked in, the votes had already piled up on Melaena, there was no use in adding an extra one. There were already 17 votes on her, denying an extra vote would not somehow save Melaena from her fate. If anything, the rest of her scum buddies would have jumped on the bandwagon when it was clear she was done for, so that they could score points later on by claiming they had voted for scum.
  10. I too had a hunch about Nadir being scum, mostly due to his off the radar behaviour on Day 1 and in particular his voting of Mr. Fitzwilliam after his virgin claim (which coincided with Melaena's vote too), which tipped the balance of votes towards him, and his failure to understand how the lynching process worked. But I suppose he proved his worth yesterday, acting as one of the leaders in the vote against Melaena, which I would argue would be too ballsy a move for a scum to do. His defense today has been pretty sound too, so I'm willing to believe him for now. Here's my other hunch, although it's entirely unrelated to the situation at hand: The Great God IMHOTEP is not in fact a Great God. Rather, he is controlled by a tiny little man within the temple ala the Wizard of Oz. This tiny little man then has wild parties with his now naked virgin guests. The funky lighting that comes from Imhoptep's eyes and mouth is not in fact an otherworldly glow, and is instead a product of the aforementioned wild parties. Look! A pebble! Wait, where are we again? We're still not in Marsails? Who is Imhotep and why is he so hungry? Well, I suppose Mustafa is another target we could go for today, since he's been fairly quiet and has just gone with the flow for the most part, as Mehmet has already mentioned. Plus there was the issue of him pointing out Mr. Anus' edit, which could be taken either way - he may've been either trying to point out the mistake in an attempt to get Anus lynched, or was simply expressing frustration and attempting to gather more votes to counteract this set-back. Either way, it's worth looking in to.
  11. This one's from the TV show Community. Omar waxes nostalgic and asks "what happened with Legos?"
  12. Well, I'm going to catch another early night tonight. We have already have plenty of votes on Ms. Stool, so I see no point in throwing my vote in as well. She's all but given up now, so I trust you guys won't be making any last minute vote changes this time.
  13. I'm leaning towards Ms. Stools myself, for the reasons Mr. Fitzwilliam and Mr. Zenith have brought up (and in addition, for voting for Ms. Balls yesterday, with the reasoning: "I don't truly believe you to be a cultist", but I'll vote for you anyway because you're stupid). Although I see Mehmet seems to have another suspect. The issue I can see is what the serial killer would become once they are converted. I mean, psychiatrists usually convert serial killers into vanilla townies, but in this game it would detrimental to the camp, as it would grant the cultists one more virgin in which to sacrifice. I suppose it could be possible for the serial killer to retain their night kill action once they've been converted, but I don't know, that sounds a little too good to be true. I feel that voting for those who have made action claims should be our priority today. We can't risk voting out more claimed virgins, especially when we have a tracker and a virgin cop to verify these claims tomorrow.
  14. And I too am inclined to vote for Ms. Taylor, as I had said yesterday, although I hope we can get to the bottom of this Mehmet business today. As I've said, it's very unlikely Mr. Fitzwilliams has a night action, so the consideration that Mehmet was shown targeting him because he was targeting Mehmet doesn't sit right with me. I suppose it's possible the tracker's results came out as random as a result of this mirror cloak, but it sure seems like too much of a coincidence for Mehmet to have been caught targeting Fitzwilliams given the drama between them yesterday. This is all too confusing. Does anyone want to help me milk a polar bear?
  15. I'm not sure why you'd still think Mr. Fitzwilliam has a night action, as I think it's pretty well established at this point that he's a virgin. As he has already pointed out, if we compare this: ... to the win conditions here: ... it seems quite clear he's a virgin. The word 'virgin' is not mentioned in the cultist objectives, nor is the fact that virgins have no night actions. And I highly doubt that someone would be silly enough to tell him about the virgin role that early on in the game. So I can only assume that Mr. Fitzwilliam has no night action, and thus couldn't have targeted Mehmet. Having said that, Mehmet's actions so far strike me as genuine. I'm just not sure how repeatedly shifting the votes yesterday would benefit the scum in any way. If he was a cultist, wouldn't he have just kept the votes on Janus or Shaq Attaq? (unless they're scum as well, but if so I'm not sure why Mehmet would put them under such pressure when he wasn't sure how many people were still awake to unvote them. Or unless he was aiming to convict a virgin, but I doubt Father Tomato was active enough for Mehmet to confirm he was going to turn out a virgin) Those actions seem far too frantic to be the work of the scum. I'm inclined to believe him at this point, although this whole situation with the mirrors does seem very odd.
  16. In light of Mr. Fitzpatricks' RC, I'm not sure we can afford to send him to the chopping block today. As for Mr. Goodenarde, I dunno, I never really took his suggestion of a random vote seriously. I thought of it as just a silly joke, a suggestion he didn't really intend on carrying out. Perhaps it's because I've been observing everything through the screen of our tent the whole day, but it doesn't really seem like he's been particularly serious about anything he's said today. Look, another pebble! I think I'll stick to my guns and keep my vote on Ms Farago for now, though I admit that having heard her defense, and now that I've looked back, her comments weren't as severe as I'd initially thought. I still believe she's our best choice of the three major suspects at the moment. I'm still not sure about Ms. Taylor and Ms. Balls, given their shenanigans at the start of the day, as well as their more recent attempt to tip the balance in favour of a Fitzpatrick lynch. Personally, I'd have no qualms voting for either one of them today, if enough people agree. Ooh, a waterfall! Who's up for a pool party?
  17. Now that I have some balls, I'll Vote: Penelope Farago (Waterbrick Down), for reasons already stated. Delicious!
  18. Wait a minute - we're still in the canyon???? Oh right, a rope bridge collapsed and we can't get out... Can't we build a ladder or something? I guess this makes sense, but why did you originally unvote straight away? You applied some pressure to Leplot, then immediately retracted it all. Or did you just want Jennifer to vote for him? Personally I'm leaning towards Ms. Farago too. I'm not sure why you'd rush to someone's defense so early on in the game. She could be trying to defend a fellow cultist, or trying to attach herself to someone she knows is town. Or she could just be a townie sticking up for someone who hasn't led her astray in previous expeditions.
  19. I think we can learn much more from all this fingerpointing than we can from another one of these boring "to vote or not to vote" debates. I think it's clear that someone's going to be voted out today, since we don't need a majority in this game.. of life. As long as one person votes, someone's going to get lunched. Therefore we'd all might as well vote and make sure the person we actually want gone is voted out today. Now if only I had some balls...
  20. My, this is ever so fascinating! Though I have to wonder: why would someone construct a face out of rock that's specifically designed to eat people? I'm not sure how that would benefit anyone. Unless it's a supernatural being that has always existed on this rock face. But then why would someone build a temple around his face? Did he demand they build a temple around his face? Or did the people build a temple around his face in order to - Oh look! A pebble!
  21. This one, because I hate left turns.
  22. It was a little disappointing to have went out like that, but the end of the day, I failed to meet a deadline. Ultimately it's your call to make, and I'll be ok with it either way. For the record, I had nothing to do with that. Although IIRC I told Flitwick that the Salisbury Steak contained the shiv the night before. I really enjoyed this game. It's fun tracking my PMs as I slowly realised I had no fellow townies. There's a great conversation with iamded (who I thought I'd cleared as a townie) where I start off overexcited and lay out everything I know on the table for him, theorising that there must be 5 townies and 4 gangs with 3 members each. He thinks I must be a neutral and I get defensive about it. Eventually, I say that he can investigate me if he doesn't believe me, and he shrugs it off and says that I must be a godfather, at which point I finally click - he's a godfather himself and I really am the only damn townie in this game. Then it got even more interesting as I kept jumping ship to different gangs as their fortunes changed, passing myself off as a humble neutral. I'm not sure how much I would've enjoyed this game playing as a gang member, locked in to a brawl to the death, but it was a lot of fun being a neutral. Thanks for the game.
  23. Gosh, what a stunning sight that is! In all my life I never thought I'd see a pyramid. I've heard people talk about them before, but I never knew they really existed! Hello Ossie! Hello Is! My name is Betty Swallocks. This is fun. I've really enjoyed this little detour, but how much further is it until we reach France? I can't wait to see Cannes, I hear the Mona Lisa is spectacular.
  24. 1) Roman Mafia, MC1, Baritones 2, Galactic Paranoia, MC2, Prohibition, Imperial Soldier's Mafia, and so on. 2) I'll be available 3) This one. Although I also enjoyed the slow realization that I was the only townie in a prison full of witches in Prison Riot.
  25. I've just reinstalled AoE3 and the Warchiefs, so I'm up for a game now that I've got some more free time. I've added my username into the first post.
