Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
doclord replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Alternatively, both an Iron Man and Spider-man may feature in MoM. Wanda is also included, so the bulk of the figures seem to be from MoM, but there could be a little feature where one of the variants is actually IW Strange and we get a new Iron Spider to pair with him and MK 50 Iron man. (All this is from TandNbricks insta) -

A Toby set makes sense to give us Toby and Doc Ock without having them in NWH, as Ock's design is near-identical to that of him in NWH. But that would mean Tom, Andrew, Electro, Lizard, Sandman and Goblin are all in one set which is possible but means that the big one is very big. And pricey if Lizard is a bigfig. -
It would make sense if: A) It is Gringotts and other shops, similar to DA. OR B) It is a mega Gringotts set that is both the top half for display in DA and a bottom half themed mostly after Deathly Hallows. Likely could be stacked on top of each other and could come with an Ironbelly build. Considering the focus is on earlier movies lately I think A is more likely, but we shouldn’t rule out a Mega Gringotts. Also if they go with A they could release the Ironbelly in a separate retail set as there are some big ones this time.

Gringotts being more expensive than Diagon Alley is funny, so it has to be true.

As in we won’t get both Goblin designs and Sandman may not get a figure, but we’ll get all five villains in one way or another. -

I think they will go for all five villains, but we will only get new Goblin and Sandman will be brickbuilt. -

No, it is a repeat of the figure that is in the new FFH set. We are still missing a rerelease/update of Iron Spider. -

They just revealed the official renders of the villains, so we may be getting merchandise of them sooner than later. Maybe LEGO sets with them will come earlier than expected due to the shuffling of movie sets? -

Hoping we see Ta-Lo vs Kun-Lun with Iron Fist. -

Considering that LEGO prioritizes Spider-man over all other marvel characters, to the fact that they made up Spidey stuff for January 2021 and then made sets off a preschooler show in 2022, the idea that they won't make more NWH sets is ludicrous. The question is when they will come out and not IF. -

I think that the cheap set will be Tom vs Doc Ock, as it looks like Doc may not participate in the final battle. Also will be the scene that has been marketed the most (the bridge battle) and the villain that has been marketed the most... likely because he isn’t exactly a villain here. Question is, will we be getting a new Iron Spider figure then? -

Snow Whites cottage has been given the “further review” mark on Ideas! Fingers crossed as it’s a really nice build and we desperately need more classic Disney content. Wonder what’s giving them pause though... potentially too many minifigs? -
If the GWPs got moved, a big HP set is more likely than a game announcement imo

I assume the big news can only be a remake of the video games or Gringotts (which was indeed in Sorcerers Stone, so.)

Considering there are 1000000 batmen in not surprised. The schtick with this suit is that its mostly grey and has a shorter cowl, which is Affleck’s suit already, and this is a more slender and younger batman (which is hard to accomplish with a minifig). They definitely should’ve used Battfleck’s cowl but otherwise I can’t think of much else they could do.

Well, all things considered, we should now see bigfig Venom sooner than later. -

Zombie Cap got an action figure too, they just sent him out to toy companies as "here's a figure to make" because he has a cool design. That's it. Similar to how Zombie Spidey has the cape but he wears it for two seconds. It looks cool, that's it. -

Probably being saved for inevitable Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers sets, Zemo and Walker seem very likely and they probably brought Abomination back for that very reason. Agatha is an odd case and I haven’t heard anything about her being in either DS2 or the set... -

Probably to include multiple games that don't need their own themes. I think they learned from Overwatch not selling too well: instead of making an Overwatch wave, they can make a few sets instead. Also a way for them to include Fortnite, Nintendo games, etc. -

I think the eyebrows work well for Disney Mickey’s figure, honestly. The actual costume though... -

The mouth is supposed to be covered by the oxygen tube so I don't see the problem. -
Wanted to pop in and say I really like Classic Flitwick with Ernie's headpiece. Do note though that the back of the hair collides with the beard piece normally, so you have to bring Flitwick's head up a bit on his neck to have them both fit.
