Link, Young Link, Zelda, Dorf, Sonic, "Pokemon Trainer", and Mario next year. We are living in a good time for making Smash Brothers displays. I wonder who is next?

So Ashnflash just posted a review of the set that reveals something surprising none of the marketing revealed (AFAIK): all three "chunks" of the set are modular and can be swapped around and attached to one another. I think all three chunks look far better by themselves regardless of accuracy. While I still think the price is silly, and that the firehouse doesn't look great, I can see the vision now.

Everything about this set screams "cheap". Does this license have no budget?

I'm guessing the facades will be very detailed per Main Street's art style, so they went with a more condensed display versus size.

Is there a chance the Pizza Planet set is actually the Pizza Planet truck?

If the books(? I think one is Tin Toy the short) attached to Slinky were better I would be more interested in the set. And maybe a better minifig than Woody.

Hogwarts looks very inspired by how it was in the early videogames, funnny enough.

If it's a Diagon Alley type set (the first one) I think we will get half tourists and half characters, be it the barbershop quartet, Pluto, Poppins etc. If it's microscale it could just be those two. But I think playscale is more likely.

Just got out of Hoppers, which was wonderful. I'm a little shocked that considering LEGO's desire to make animal sculptures more and more often, they skipped out on this for 2026. King George and Mable buildables seems like an obvious choice.

I think Pluto (costume version) would be a clever exclusive as he's really only at Disney parks.

Pikachu, Eevee and the Kanto Trio is the most logical bet IMO.

Was that confirmed? I know things point to the Bugle but I thought the latest known was "superhero modular".

If the tower looks like the comics Watchtower I will definitely pick it up! This does free up the Baxter Building to perhaps be the big modular this year.

Pizza Planet Truck set v2 when?

I really like that both the BND and Doomsday sets have mini-modulars. I wish I collected the mini-modular system as it's very creative and a fun way to cover the whole of Marvel, but I'm too spoiled by the large modulars.

The set isn't actually called Doomsday Modular, right?

The MCs of Doomsday and its subsequent toyline are almost certainly Cap and Doom (sorry P4-P5 fans!) which is reflected in their presence in the AC, even if they are comics designs there. Sentry and Reed are also very important which makes it a coin toss on what the building will be. Though they could put the F4 in their ship or the Fantasticar as TNA don't have an iconic vehicle. Personally I would go with the Modular being The Watchtower for Sentry and Cap vs Doom and then the vehicle being the Fantasticar with the 4's new outfits and/or stretchy Reed and flaming Torch. No idea who they would fight. X-Men maybe?

I think the new modular has to be New Avengers Tower/The Watchtower (if it still looks like it did in Tbolts, which was a reference to Sentry's Watchtower in the comics) OR the Baxter Building. HERBIE makes me think it is the Baxter Building, combined with an old rumor that we would be getting a playset Baxter Building this year.

Yeah, I think there's a minute chance that there actually isn't a 2026 Doomsday wave, but maybe a Doomsday-inspired comics wave (hence why we may have a comics Cap and Doom, two Doomsday MCs). Similar to Endgame and NWH having weird sets? I would be over the moon if we got comics Sentry, Doom, Cap and the Fantastic Four all in the same year.

Doom has a gold chain and brown belt. Also the other figures are all comic based (so comics Cap?!) so very likely Doom is comics too, if the color scheme wasn't a giveaway (Movie Doom doesn't have gold).

Doom in the AC is very exciting, that borderline confirms we are getting comics Fantastic 4 sets. Or at least one.

Because kids wouldn't buy it.

I'm not looking forward to Shrek CMF though I wouldn't be opposed to Dreamworks one, I just think Shrek may be a bit too repetitive with molds and similarities to existing figures (Gingy and existing Gingerbread figures for example). I would LOVE a Seuss CMF and a Grinch figure coming out near Christmas would sell like crazy. Street Fighter is cool for AFOLs but may be too niche for kids?
