Apparently the winter wave is better than we are expecting.

I'm not sure if Winter has always been when LEGO dumps its trash (compared to the rest of the year) but its definitely been the case for a while. I kind of remember Spring being bad in the past but maybe it's always been Winter.

DC only wins winter wave because there is a Batman movie. Not looking forward to the rest of the year for them, LEGO will probably swap to prioritize NWH and Thor sets in summer.

Turns out it was actually Lady Ock from the new Spidey kids show. Which confirms what the Junior wave will be themed around.

I didn’t think there was much left for a HP S3, so I am expecting it to be axed.

Zombie Cap has a good assortment of pieces that can be used elsewhere and the design is great, so I think his inclusion is good. I will go out on a limb and say "Zombie Hunter Spider-man" is the worse inclusion because it's an obvious ploy to just include his Avengers Campus suit in toys. They absolutely could have just made his suit, albeit not as detailed, in a set dedicated to Avengers Campus while we could've got a more What If focused character like Strange Supreme.

You're right, and that's a very good pull. I enjoy the figure much more now. Just wish it came with the waistcoat piece.

It’s a bit of a shame that the Domo ship couldn’t be black and gold, but maybe the scenes are just misleading.

Ashnflash video shows that Carter and Tchalla apparently have two expressions, though they are hard to see. Also Throg has his helmet molded on AND a small cape on his back. looks great

I'm not sure about the doom and gloom when this seems pretty clearly a "break" year from the usual HP stuff to commemorate the tenth anniversary. It's not like we're missing crucial sets aside from Gringotts and Deathly Hallows so after they knock those out, the theme is effectively "done" isn't it? So next year can have all that and then it's a matter of rereleases and/or going obscure or alternative again.

Apparently the idea is to combine her comic Embiggening with cosmic projection. So she's basically Green Lantern (making construct fists and such)

I kind of get the complaints about it being a sculpture but I think it's a little more unique than that with all the removeable parts. If it was just called "Hedwig" or "Letter from Hogwarts" it would make more sense, but wouldn't explain some of the items.

So can the objects all be detached or is it kind of one big sculpture?

Yup, between the lame figures, the awful scale and bad color, it’s an easy pass from me. At least Iron Monger had great figures and works out of scale.

I think Tina head and a black cape will make Sylvie look a lot better.

I'm partial to CMF Tina for Sylvie, especially the annoyed expression.

I think Spidey is the only one of them that has a full mask that’s a head print, so it’s actually unmasked Spidey. The head works as Scott though.

My only gripes are Sylvie's face, the lack of helmet on Alligator Loki and Monica's lame plane build. Otherwise almost perfect set with incredible printing. Also Bucky should've gotten his notebook instead of another shield.

No way Croki is missing the helmet.

Thor's belly having that off-color is a bummer to me, I would've easily swapped the PJ printing for that.
