Sorry to say that, but I like the second version, the one decorated with a variety of foods. Very nice little house, and I like the bed-time scene!

Good point Kurigan! I'll try to follow your advices.

Thank you gedren, glad you like the boat, alas I haven't had the chance to read the book you mentioned, jacinthe (jacinth in English) refers to her reddish hull. Thank you Thaum! I totally disagree here. If I follow your raisonning, my 60-gun ship should have a stat of 15 points for firepower. No, seriously, you are right, 3 firepower and 0 crew, it's a bit abusive, no good to play with the rules, so 2 firepower and 1 crew should be more appropriate. Thank you capt Wolf! Glad you like it. Glad you like it Ayrlego. The hull has costed a lot of bricks and it's the main part of the built, which took most of building time.

A fast and maneuvrable cutter, initially built to transport and extract agents from hostile or occupied territories. She's been transferred recently to the colonial squad based to Eltina and rebaptised Jacinthe. She has a large gun (18pounder or 24 pounder) on the bow and two smaller guns amidship. Very well armed for a boat of her tonnage, this disposition means her crew should stick to the tactic of hit and run, to maximize her advantage and try to avoid to board ennemy ships. Here are the stats: Class 2 Cost 120 Range 3 Maneuver 4 Firepower 2 Crew 1 Cargo 0 Hull 2 C&C are welcome. Vive le Roi!

Very nice ship! The colour scheme is perfect and I like the tumblehome, the detailed stern, with all those curves, even the dark pics gave the ship a historical and authentic feel. The sails maybe appear small, but on the other hand, small sails enhance playability, the thing I've learned from my last ships, with high masts and large sails, is they are practically impossible to play with, so i kind of like these small sails.

[WTC-Saboteur-Part2] They have found their way
Bodi replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thank you Mesabi. The sergent Eric will propose to organize a task force to find our fugitif, hope you may give your approval. Thank you Ayrlego. I think if the Bluecoats behave correctly, the Count should not kick them out. -
Sergent Eric and his men have wandered nearly a month in the jungle, they were exhausted and at the brink of collapse, when finally, the vegetation became less dense and they saw the white wall of a Corlander fort. -Hurry up, guys, we are save! -It's about time, sarge. - Sir I see some Oleaneses wandering on a chocolate bar muddy path! Should we open fire? - No, they must be the prisoner escorts long awaited. Inform the lieutenant. -Good day, sir, you are late. -Yes, my apology, and we've lost our prisoner, and we are not ashamed of. FInally, our sergent meets Count Mesabi and announced him the "good" news. Of course the Count wasn't so pleased, neverthless he invited the Blues to share his dinner. -Chef, prepare the table for our guests. -Count, I'm afraid that we are a bit low on horses. -Never mind, you can always walk. About the build, I tried to immitate Ayrlego's tower, as it has a strong corrish look.

Thank you Faladrin. For the map, that's ok, the masts are easily reparable, you can have the map, leave me the ship. Glad you like it BD! I like the white hulls too, I definitely should get more of them. I've spent one week on the rigging and sails, 30min per day, so it should have spent me about 3hours in total. Thank you Thaum. Glad you like my ship, Mesabi. It does have a cabin, a rather simple one though, I'll take some pics. Thank you, Kwatchi, glad you like it! Glad you like it Capt Wolf! I ran out of idea for the figurehead, the unicorn is quite a frequent-met name for warships, for example the Unicorn from Tintin.

I like the bubble-built water, and the island-like baseplate is interesting, the turtle heading east is excellent, is it a regular bus turtle?

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Bodi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
invading India, hum, maybe not the best idea Count Mesabi. I see your points and understand you want explore new world, which does not exist yet, I mean there are no factions representing them, and you should use your imagination to invent them. The thing is one's imagination does not have limits, if I let my imagination gallop, I may easily imagine annihilate all the opponents of Oleon. Luckily there are rules and real players who are there to prevent me doing so. The essence of RPG game is to interact with other players and not play only with our own imagination . Here's my point, it could be better if one of us play the role of this fictive faction, I'm not proposing to create a brand new faction, just something like a part-time job, while devoting full hearted to our respective faction. For example I'm now planning to buy more ninja sets and I can perfectly act as the Eastern faction of Mesabi's adventure, temporarily of course. I think by so doing we can have more "conventional" builds and reduce the occurence of unnecessary brutality and oppression. -
Glad you like it Professor.

[SR - FB1] The Dusk (Gargoyle sistershiped)
Bodi replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
As I've already said, great custom hull, the shape is excellent, the fully tilted deck and even the hold is tilted, I like the lamp on the mast, there's a lot of fine details on your ship. Good job, doctor. -
The colonial squadron of la Royale is ready to welcome a new member, a smaller one this time, designed for reconnaissance and escort missions. Here she is, the class 6 Licorne (unicorn),flying proudly the ensign of Oleander navy: Class Cost Stats Points Range Maneuver Firepower Crew Cargo Hull Sum 6 560 24 5 4 6 4 0 5 24 The above is the proposed stats repartition, with emphasis put on range and maneuvrability, as we can expect from a frigate. The origin of this ship is unclear, the official story says she is a renovated warship, without further details, but some say there was a secret meeting and there's even an amateur artist who has drawn a sketch of a ship who ressembles vaguely to our Licorne. The photos are a bit dark, hope you can see the small guns from the hole. All the parts above the gun deck have been redone. Figurehead, the brown thingy is supposed to represent an unicorn. Thanks for viewing. C&C are welcome. Vive le Roi!
