[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Bodi replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
“Very well, it seems that we are going to receive some guests aboard.” Said the Captain while retracting his telescope. “Captain, I’d like to suggest you to invite them to have a conversation in the grande cabine, there’s something I’d like to ask them.” Said Mlle Valois. “Let’s have this conversation together, there’s also something I’d like to know.” Replied the captain. In the cabin of Centurion, the captain of TER vessel and his first mate were invited to dinner, they were served with plenty of booze and found it difficult to maintain control of their tongue. -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Bodi replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Here's the part of entry build by @KotZ, he's momentarily unavaible so I took the liberty to post for him. "Alright, let's bring her about, we've got places to be," Emile said after the orders had been given. The Centurion and Le Protecteur accepted the signal and followed the Esprit Tyche. Emile continued, "Hollande thinks this place is worth checking out, let's get there fast." The ships sailed past some wreckage of the ships that had drifted, caused by the hurricane. Emile remembered some of the images seared in his mind from the recent war of the destruction and the refugees; he prayed Terraversa wasn't devastated. "There she is! King's Port!" the man in the crow's nest of the flagship, the Esprit Tyche shouted as Terraversa came in sight. Emile made his way across the deck and saw the lighthouse on an outcropping, as well as two ships approaching. "Can anyone see if their gunports are open?" Emile called out. He searched for his spyglass. Of course when he needed it, it was nowhere to be found. "Does King's Port look to have sustained any damage?" "Don't look so, captain!" someone shouted. Hollande asked, "To which question?" A moment passed. A silent, tense moment. "Port looks intact, and no cannons in view!" the same voice replied. "Well that's good," Emile muttered to himself. -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa

Seeing the signal given by their commodore aboard of Esprit Tyche, the captain of Centurion, a former officer of la Royale, veteran of many battles, promptly transmitted the order to his crew. The jolly boat was lowered in a jiffy and headed towards the TER vessels in difficulty. Bernard the red cape, appointed himself the captain of the boat, harassed the seamen with confusing and contradictory instructions, the seamen opted to ignore him and carried out their tasks methodically and silently. Soon, they arrived at the vicinity of TER ships and discovered that one of their ships was sinking, in the water, three or four sailors were struggling to stay afloat. - “Hold on, we are here to help you!” With this being said, the RNTC sailors and Bernard helped the shipwreck seamen to get aboard of their boat. With a few consolating words and some bottles of rum, the Oleanders sailors managed to comfort their TER colleagues and set the course to Centurion. -

Nice looking boat, merc!

Cool ship catamaran! i like her futurist look, and the brick built sail is really good. Hilarious story.

Impressive ship Mesabi! I like how huge it is. I think you got some decent firepower here, especially with the four enormous chasers, although usually they should be of smaller caliber, the same for the molded guns on upper gundeck, I suggest you to use some custom guns instead, and concentrate all the large guns on the lower gundeck. The overall disposition is good, just one small thing, the helm should not be placed on the poop deck, it should be placed a little bit ahead, but by judging the emplacement of your mizzen mast, it's ok to leave it there. Nice ship in general, although not of sleek looking we used to see here, but assembling something this huge requires a lot of work, well done. Looking forward to your next ship!

[OL - AMRCA - Sebeus I] Quest for the Flying Dutchman
Bodi replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like the shipwreck, and the sea bed. -
Very nice little diorama. The transparent studs and tan tiles work very well for representing water and sandy beach. The raft is nice too, and I like the details such as flags, fish pole and the unshaved Montoya.
-
Nice photo. I like the table and the globe sitting on four frogs.

Fun story. Nice to see the WTC is expanding.

Nice diorama Professor! I like all the details you've included in the distillery, and the pier is very well built too. I just hope captain Tondeuse à gazon Tondoz y Gazon could solve promptly the "light problem".- 17 replies

Now that's impressive! The three building are very well built, especially the white main building, the pebble cobble street is great too. Nice minifigs collection, on the second photo, the lady with pink shirt looks angry, is she going to throw the pie on the guards' face?
-
Very nice microbuilds! I like both of them. In the factory build, the elevated shore, above the sea-level, is very thoughtful.
-
Neat build! I like how you've depicted the manufacturing process, and I like the openable feature.
-
NIce scene. I don't recall if I have already seen a tannery here. I like the roof.

Thank you KB, Garm and Duke! Here comes a little of background story: Maître Romain was a veteran mousquetaire and professionnal fencer, he left Granoleon with Lagaufre, for a post at Eltina. There, he met his old friend, Lagaufre - Maître Romain, I shall congratule you on your nomination to the post of Mayor of Eltina. On behalf of the... - Oh, spare me the civilities, Lagaufre was suddenly interrupted his friend, I’ve had enough when I was at the Court, it’s also one the reasons I volunteered to go to the colonies. - You are still the same, mon vieux. Lagaufre replied. Good, voila your office, you can call it the Mairie of Eltina, it’s a bit small, but you know, we only get started and we have other priorities to comply. But I can assure you this is only temporary, you’ll get a larger hotel de ville eventually, when I have time and got enough bricks. - What? - Never mind. The next morning, Romain struggled to wake up because he drank too much last night, he arrived late, and found a few unhappy gentlemen, queuing in front of his office. Whispering a few words of excuse, he hurried to unlock the lock and sat behind his desk. For our former mousquetaire, this is a new experience, will he comply to the usage of Oleander bureaucracy? We shall see. -
Love your characters, too funny.
