  1. This thing is actually too large/tall for any pictures to do any justice, so bare with me on all the plywood you'll see :-$ Basically the weird blue tank fired a rocket at the monorail as part of a rebellion uprising going on, and the yellow gattling cannon vehicle is just attacking it. The other vehicles around are just citizens. Overall arial view, here you can see a squad of police on some kind of dropship landing on a pad. After this picture I took off the palm trees and the ship itself, as it was much too wobbly. And the palm trees got in the way of my shots alot, although they are pretty. Here you can see alittle bit of the snotwork included in the buildings, the monorail station wall is actually upside down. And the red building is obviously somewhat snot. Anyway, there are way to many pictures to put up so ill just give you the brickshelf gallery, loaded with pictures of all different areas: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=288909 It also contains closeups of the vehicles in the scene, figuring some might be interested. Personally the yellow gattling cannon vehicle is like my favourite *wub* I also tried fairly hard to make the city as studless as possible, the entire roadway, sidewalk, etc, is all brickbuilt. Feel free to drop a comment or some kind of suggestion, always much appreciated :-D
  2. Pictures of my new moc are now being uploaded and awaiting verification on brickshelf, im actually kind of excited on this one, I must say Im somewhat proud of this diorama *wub* Somewhat.. :-$ As its my largest moc yet too :-P Expect a topic tomorrow or the day after; Then expect me to come back here complaining about not knowing what to build again :'-(
  3. Ive been working on this diorama for quite some time, its a city setting and have been at work on it for a week or two on and off. Expect a rather large Moc from me rather soon.. >:-)
  4. I am particularily interested in those windscreens, aswell as, these look like absolutely great parts packs, all those curves and slopes *wub*
  5. Oh, me? I have approximately none.
  6. Today I had food poisoning and stayed home.
  7. The person above me seems to have, quite frankly, used one of my favourite emotes. ... >:-)

  13. Guess who found an awesome top hat!
  14. I was very happy with it, alot of their older sets are actually marked down, and as the cashiers negotiated price they just said bluntly we want the old stuff out of here. Its such a great place, but Its alittle bit of a drive and im abit short on cash, but I expect more misb valuable finds..

  16. Well today I found a lovely 6195 Neptune Discovery Lab for a meare 60$ (Interesting story on how I got the price) *wub* And the Unitron 1789 Star Hawk II for about 25 bucks *y* They also had many other old sets there, these are just the two I bought, could any price junkie tell me what they may be worth nowadays? :-$ At the shop they also had the old fasioned 80's train rails, the old grey early 90s roadplates, exploriens, old town sets, and polybag space, pirate, and castle sets. They also had the old time travellers sets along with some other good ole' sets. I have yet to buy any of these as im not sure the market on them, but I plan to take an inventory there sometime to see if anyone was interested. But at this point these two I bought are what I'm curious of >:-) ... And the story of how I got the neptune lab for only 60$, originally the price tag wasnt even on there, so I asked the guy working how much it is, so he compaired it to the other awuazone set, the shark sub, for 45$, and I was going to get it for that untill the cash register worker said will this is bigger, it should be abit more. So 60$ then, still, great for an old MISB set and 20$ cheaper than normal? Good stuff.
  17. I bought a 6195 set for 60$ MISB today! *wub* *wub* *wub* I also bought a MISB 1789 for just over 25$! *wub* I scored on this one *y* :'-)... And not only that, I also bought 7699 and 8107. (Armoured Mars Drilling Unit with the M-tron size wheels, and the golden fortress with those katanas) http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/7699-1.jpg http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/8107-1.jpg Then I went to yet another store and found 7018 (Viking Ship Vs Serpent) For a measly 30 dollars on sale! http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/7018-1.jpg Happy day :'-)
  18. Haha, excellent >:-) Must feel great getting some credit, or winning in some form of competition ;-) Congrats! *y*
  19. What about the Unitron ship?? :'-( The Star Hawk II I couldnt even vote, because this is my real favourite *wub*
  20. Although I have no use for them, I have to pick up a set of bikes, simply from them being so cool *wub*
  21. Im just getting around 200-250 dollars to spend on whatever I like during xmas shopping, so far the sets im getting thus far are: Aquazone base : 70$ Armoured Drilling Unit.. thing.. : 80$ 100 smackeroos left, what o what to get :-| Then after xmas, my bday is on Dec. 31st, dont get me started there! >:-)
  22. Currently searching for inspiration or ideas for new mocs to create |-/ Im thinking some sort of base or barracks next for some troops. :-$ But when I start building, ya never know. :-|
  23. I read his topic on mocpages, and there he kindof explains alot of the meanings aswell, heh. It is a very beautifully sculpted moc, even despite the death and gore. My favourite part would have to be the skull and spine ripped out by the bionicle minifigure. Great detail, and ace work.
  24. Wow, some of those stocks went really quick :-$ Aslong as I get my hands on a 7699, illbe happy (For the most part they dont seem to be going anywhere, hah!) Wouldve liked to get my hands on a hoth base though, but my hope for that is quickly sinking :-|
  25. I admit I bought a set of bestlock once, it was like 20 dollars for 600 some peices, a large tank, large apc, two buildings, an aircraft and a helicopeter, quite some years ago, I couldnt resist the chance, although it was some fun to play with they now reside in a bin that has not seen the light of day in years, either. The product quality is very noticeable, the blocks dont stay togeather all to well either really, but I guess theyre cheap army stuff atleast. Good thing? They came witha megablock load of weapons and oil drum barrels, sand bags, and other military utensils which I actually use! They are very nice actually, and the weapons work in minifig hands :-$ Although I dont reccomend them atall, I like to call myself a purist to lego but I couldnt resist this one temptation to weigh just how much better lego quality actually is :-X
