MISB M-Tron and Monorail Sets Bought at Store.
Brickmaster replied to Brickmaster's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
just checked, the monorail alone, especially misb, can fetch ~ 130 dollars if I wanted, or more (people are selling that set not misb for that much!) Next time I go to the store I plan to bring the camera. -
What game are we playing at the moment?
Brickmaster replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I love to play the good old Command and Conquer games, also good for lego inspiration *wub* -
Well - What a suprise I may find. I trudge into a humble toyshop, maybe thinking they had some lego. Boy was I suprised. I found sets dating back over 10 years, and in a huuuge selection. I am definitely going back. So I was curious to see what their back stock was - being the family run toyshop they allowed me into the dark basement to look at what else they had! And I found these - the oldest sets they had there. They are from 1990 (Before I was even born!) I was utterly surprised, and snatched them up. I plan to resell them, then go back and buy some more sets! *wub* (I have checked, and the monorail especially is worth quite a nice amount!) I bought them both for 30 dollars apeice. Sorry for the semi-large pics. Heh.

I like purple, I like pie, and I am repentent. Do the math, you!
-
I quite like the use of the RockRaiders parts to create a 'revolutionary' style (Whenever they were testing with flying. Heh) I like it, great job.

Is the bottom of it going to just cut off and be flat like a semicircle, or will it be rounded off into a complete circle/oval shape?
-
Look like goblins to me
-
Is it stable? Quite frankly yes *sweet* There are afew main connections joints that may seem weak, but I must say all in all it is quite a rugged ship, it feels very solid. I will post pictures tomorrow, I went to shadow another school today and spent time with friends - sorry!

Tomorrow or the weekend I can take afew shots of the simple SNOT technique I used, if anyone is interested :-$ Thank you all very much for the comments! I really appreciate them, I will also do some modifications to try and tweak it and make it abit sleeker *wub* I wonder what my next project shall be..

Thank you for the comments, Im still abit rusty from almost 3 years off the lego :-$ About the color scheme - Yes its icky, but I tried to make them completely out of the 4508 Titan Xp reator set *wub* http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=4508-1 (I have two, got them 50% off each! Which is why I have 4 of those dark grey canopies that form the sides)

I just went to target five minutes ago - They are stocking up, I also asked the manager some questions about the polocies for you all! - There is NO layaway option, so you cant individually set one away and pick it up on sale. - There is a policy of if you buy it, and after you buy it goes on sale, you have 14 days to bring the recepit and get the balance back - They didnt tell me if the sale would go on after black friday - does anyone know if it will?
-
Yes; Sorry about that, when it does become public there are also pics of it's sister ship *y* *sweet* All pictures now added
-
(Rawr, attacking kitty messing up my picture backround!) My favourite parts are the Canopies that go back into the structure of the ship - for some reason I like windows to see inside. I originally built these just for some troop carriers and give the titan xp parts some sort of use (Hence ugly icky colors!) As I said, it is the first creation in almost 3 years - I ended up somewhat happy with it, so decided to share (And please excuse my lack of controls / interior) For the full Gallery (when public): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=284262 All comments and criticism (Constructive or not. Hah!) are welcome. Sorry for all the pics. Mocpage: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/40704

Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Brickmaster replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would definintly use them - its more a matter of finding a use rather than whether or not to use -
I wanted to vote for someone noone else did- And succeeded!
