*y* Heya! Nice build ya got I like the angled end compartment and door, although with any moc posting I would like to give abit of healthy critisizm :-P The only thing that really bothers me is the front. It seems so very thin compaired to the rest that seems like a bulking armoured beast, the front seems to slope down into a.. duck bill? I think maybe some fenders and some beefing up of the front would help this, but great job :-$

Greetings, hope you make yourself welcome and enjoy your stay! Looking to see some mocs of yours soon, that is if you look at mine *skull* Cya round the boards :-$
-
:-$ Thanks! Frankly it's like me absolute favourite of all time. I like it so much X-D I cant bare to take it apart, which sucks frankly as it uses like all the elements I used to use in Moc'ing. I cant bare it! *sing* What should I do? How can people bare to take their fav creations apart? :'-( But um.. way off topic. Thanks for your comments, I really do appreciate :-$

Sadly on some other forum sites ive heard its closer than some people actually basing it off of a model X-D In all id just say it was 'inspired by' rather than a wanted replica, but I was thinking maybe I should have a redo and actually try to make a real one now? :-$ Whatcha think? :-P ;-)

I built it out of memory and playing halo for an hour, rather than going off a blueprint - it was my own little version, rather than a completely accurate model, which I didnt want it to be. Thanks for the critisizm of that though, but I dont want it to be a perfect pelican >:-) Looking at those 'real' pelican pictures makes me realize how wrong mine is, and how wrong basically everyone elses pelicans look now. Arg! :-P Cut me some slack? :'-( :-$ ;-)

Brickmaster replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia

New TECHNIC sets for 2008
Brickmaster replied to Conchas's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The motor drives the winch, you can see the low resistance gear up in front by the winch. These gears turn upon themselves with too much force to stop them from stripping, and are only used with motors, so my bet is it drives the winch. I miss the gearboxes - I have the red supercar and the green 4x4 offroader, packed with lovely features and really can learn alot from them - these motors just seem to be cheesy gimics, rather than true functions. Meh. I miss the real supercars. -
Greetings to the board ;-) If its leaked set pictures you're after - well, this is the place to be! X-D And a lovely community to boot.

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
Brickmaster replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have all my large boxes saved - it takes up a whole wall of shelfs in my garage. Its quite a sight I must say :-$ -
The person above me seems to like purple, which is awesome, because I love purple too. Purple favourite color ON!

Just saw the new alien redesign - apity they didnt do this sooner, now there will be the 2 peice alien pawns and the appendage weilding other aliens. Bah. Still great sets, and a great improvement

Frankly im not all too excited for castle - although its not my style I do respect it, im justa space man! I must say I did pick up a kings castle seige on clearance - and boy did I love it! Such originallity, little juniorization, and such play value - I could see myself getting to castle if I wasnt already a space fanatic! This year in castle is very interesting - I must also say, however, Im not too terribly impressed with the line this year - no large castles, buildings, just a remake of the viking boat and and odd wheel thing? Albeit theyre nice - I'm just complaining in that I like fortifications :-P
-
Im loving all the curved window peices, but thats about it - atleast I can save some money and skip on this line >:-) And at yellost, the foam looking peice is actually a 1/4 circle pipe, usually found in chrome - the picture just skews it.

I voted for Kit, the Giant Troll, Bane, and the Aquaraiders (was split between Mars Mission astronaught for the excellent gold visors..) But the aquaraiders won from printed helmets *wub* Love the expanded poll.

It's also a matter of self control, along with value - Personally I have an increadibly rare Misb monorail pack waiting to be sold (people are paying 120$ for it opened) And misb star hawk II unitron ship, and aquazone Neptune Discovery lab, then my luckiest find, a Misb M-tron ship. The name escapes me now.. I bought them all for retail price, once Im not lazy ill put them up for sale - I would surely do the same for any pirate set I had misb, even if the classics are nice - I absolutely love what legos been doing lately, and I need monies for the new stuffs! *wub*

Let's make EB more of a community
Brickmaster replied to Legoman's topic in Forum Information and Help
Thanks for the Irc chat, just from that short time alone I learned quite abit :-$ With afew more people I could see it being even better *wub* (Obviously..) -
I got here thanks to my dad finding me a plethora of different lego sites - this being one of them *wub* Why do I keep coming back? The lovely community I feel comfortable in, friends, up to date news, and a good atmosphere. Not to mention a place to get (useful) critisizm on Mocs and share creations :-$ I love it here - also, this topic heavily reminds me of the now dying 'what I like about eurobricks' thread ;-)
-
Thanks for the review :-) I was actually considering getting these, but I saw they were overpriced for my tastes - too bad, theyre nifty lil things *wub*
