Why do people complain about juniorization?
Brickmaster replied to Zuloon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Daniel says it has a heavy 'Star Blazers' influence, if that's what you mean ;-) Whole mocpages can be found here: Check out some of his stuff if you haven't. Its amazing. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/678 -
:-D :-D Yes, I'm not sure if.. 'cute' is the same context here! :-P Hah! X-D
-
The person above me is Captain Obvious! :-D No offense intended obviously! X-D :-$
-
I see we have another aspiring Bleach fan here? *wub* And you are.. correct on all accounts! :-D However I think Zaraki Kenpachi's Leutenant, Yachiru, is much cuter than Rukia! Maybe we could have a poll to settle said dispute!.. >:-) PS: Zaraki = BEAST.

The person above me lied. I am not a vassal! >:-)

Why do people complain about juniorization?
Brickmaster replied to Zuloon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ive used this cockpit peice in 2 of my mocs; I actually love the peices, and I bought two just from their usefullness. Not to mention the best use of them all in my opinion; two of them can be put togeather to form a great looking capitol ship bridge, such as in the dragon star (one of my all time fav mocs) :-$ -
It definately has the Admiral Gidden essence all over it ;-) I love that cockpit windsheild, its a pity I missed out on it. |-/ I Especially like how its so sleek using very little snot techniques, and all the little greebles are always appreciated in my eyes :-$

Although good like the others have said, I see the reoccuring problem that many aspiring mecha builders seem to keep encountering; the galidodor clicky joins are horridly exposed, and there are some definate techniques you could use to hide and protect them. The top torso looks too much like a V to me, and being like a humanoid mecha, I like proportion. Not only as such, I also kindof feel it just looks like a similar exo set in yellow, with afew added details. Hope you dont take offence - I just like to deal suggestions *wacko* However, 'tis nice, I've always loved underwater themes, its what I grew up with *wub*

I wouldve voted the Unitron base if given a chance *sing* I heart Unitron till I die!
-
Pietje's impressive dragon ship definately caught my vote *wub* The basic yellow, red, green, colours and the oriental-ish style makes it very nice looking, even to a not pirate fan :-$ Good job to the other entries aswell *sweet*

What will happen when star wars lego is gone forever?
Brickmaster replied to General Zen's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Lego profits would take a slight plummet and the already out star wars sets would increase even more in value, (though thats a given anyway if they are discontinued..) My guess is that lego would try to buy and extend the license more, as that would be benificial to both corperations. -
Frankly I agree with Mic Mic here - Overall it looks abit like a submarine, and rather than a solid compact tank design it seems more like a spread out amphibious vehicle with some guns stuck on - although it has some potential, it first needs a major overhaul in its basics to make it a war machine. Unlike the others, I personally like the dark blue, yellow, and black, however :-P

Got up. School for 8 hours yadda yadda. Caught up with Joe and Branco, worked out for 2 hours with them, then got home and got warmed up some jumbalia, and then got on the forums as I eat. Woo.

7424 Review: Dragon Fortress
Brickmaster replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I have increadible regret missing out on this great set - I have no idea why I didnt get it at the time, but now its way too late. Oh lament :'-( -
Very nice work, with abit of snot work to make a studless floor, one may have no idea it would be lego, as it would look like a nice model. I especially like how some of the furnishings are done. I bet if this was in the city/town forums, some people would love this ;-) (seems the starwars was just a tack on) :-P

Wow, that looks excellent, I especially love brickbuilt rock formations. Definately a sleek looking castle.

Frankly Id rather use the not trans black, or gold mars mission visors, as those I feel look best. If you go for a trans, I usually use the trans dark yellow (not the neon green pictured) or trans red. However, out of just the two, I would choose blue, but im with 4j, in that neither are overly great :-$

Now that the shock value has worn off, im starting to value abit more and notice some more things; especially that there are almost no weird orange canisters in these sets! I see one on the ship, and thats about it. They seem to be aiming for more imaginative armament and possibilities rather than having a huge clunky prison pod thing. I also notice the white rubber blunt shooter ammo. The striking resemblance to the ice planet cruiser ship and this large mm ship, and the mega core magnetizer and the 2007 armoured drilling unit still astounds me! Going back to the ole space themes for inspiration? :-D

Angst over more blue pins
Brickmaster replied to Dannnohhh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Im not sure myself either, what I noticed in alot of 2007 sets is; the 1x wide friction stopper that goes on X axels come in red in alot of sets. I thought that was the new standardized color of it, but then I get into other 2007 sets and they come in grey; the same goes with some other pins and technic studs. Blue in one 2007 set, grey in another.. *wacko* -
There is a topic poll like this in Lego 'General Discussion' by the Brickster already ;-) However, as for me, I marvel at it abit, and maybe add it to a collection and play with it with other sets, and in many occurrances I just modify it as I build, or right after.

That is indeed an evil stare; though im not sure what the end of the moc is, I quite like the originality.

The person above me is sincere about not joking, though the person above him doesn't mind :-P

The person above me is rather correct in his statement, though said person does like purple, and pies. :-P
