Pretty much, yeah. -

ANAD == Invincible. It and the mighty micro armors are *definitely* too cartoony though if you're going for strictly MCU. Personally I'll be using mine for a more comicy version so I'm going to include them. -

At the moment we have 15 preexisting suits if we include comic book variants (invincible, scuba) and the mighty micro (classic), and ignore the expensive toycon exclusive. Throw in the 4 that come with the set itself and you're up to 19 total, so 3 will accommodate them all with space for more in the future. If you ignore the comic and mighty micro variants you'll have a full hall with just 2. -

This would be pretty cool to see done for real. Stupidly expensive if you did it by just buying 6 of the set, but still really cool. -

I was actually aware of this! It's my understanding that this is also the primary reason that the X-Men and Fantastic Four only returned to the forefront of Marvel's comics recently, when it became evident that the Fox deal was going to go through. (side note if any of you guys are fans of either of these teams and you aren't reading their flagship comics right now, you totally should because they're both really good at the moment) -

I actually wouldn't mind Wolverine on a relatively medium-sized or smaller motorcycle. He is known for rolling around in one in the comics from time to time. -

I mean, the Cyclops we got was pretty good with a few modifications. Seriously though I'd love to see some X-Men sets, or even a couple for Fantastic Four. Wouldn't it be sweet to get a Baxter Building or Xavier's School set? I know those would be day 1 buys for me. -

Oh they definitely will release one eventually, although iirc Superior Spider-Man had been gone for a while once Spider-Verse happened. The event spun out of a story arc that he starred in but Peter had been back for a while once Spider-Verse actually started. You're definitely right though that he's one of the last well-known spidey variants that we're missing, the others being Noir, the Ben Reilly Spidey suit and the Kain Scarlet Spider. -

Honestly I doubt that this is what he'll be wearing from now on. The red and black suit is certainly classic, but imho it's not as iconic as the red and blues. He'll be back in the traditional suit before long, like he always is. Regardless I am hoping we see it released in minifig form in some way, since it'd be super useful for creating a Superior Spider-Man figure. -

I dunno, there's a lot of decidedly weak sets with good figures that end up going for quite a bit on the secondary market. Even if the set itself doesn't go for too much (which I still predict that it will when sold complete in box), the figures will definitely be worth something simply because they're all seemingly exclusive and it's unlikely that we'll see other versions of them. Its the same combination of appealing figures and iconic location that causes Star Wars sets to balloon in value after they retire, although its to a lesser extent with superheroes. -

I'm gonna call it now, the Hall of Armors set is probably going to be a very sought after set once it's retired. It's definitely a good call to pick it up before anything else. -

I'll consider picking up the hall of armors if I can get it at a bit of a discount. The MSRP in CAD is way too high for what ends up being like 6 instances of the same small build and a couple of armors. I feel this. Not a fan of all the 20th anniversary sets but man the snow speeder and Slave I are really appealing. -

I dunno about it being our last chance to get certain characters. Certain MCU variants of characters for sure, but I doubt this is the last Iron Man figure we'll ever see. As for my purchasing choices, I've got versions of most of the figures in this wave already so I only really care about the builds this time around. Therefore I'm probably not going to be getting any sets from the Endgame wave other than the Quinjet which looks like it'll be pretty easy to mod into a classic space-styled set. -

The manager at my local Mastermind told me that they wouldn't be on shelves till the 1st due to Lego actually enforcing street dates this time around, so it's pretty likely that we won't be able to take advantage of the 2x points. -

What about some of the parts from Flama from Nexo Knights? He's pretty "person covered in fire"-y. Throw in some flame pieces surrounding him in a build similar to Hydro Man's and you've got a pretty decent Molten Man. -

So I just saw the FFH sets, honestly I'm pretty happy with them. I love the Molten Man and Hydro Man sets, and they come with all the minifigures that I care about. The big set looks pretty uninteresting, so it's nice to be able to pass on it since I don't care about any of the exclusive figures and the Spidey looks like its the same from Homecoming so no loss on my end. -
If all else fails and you end up deciding to remove the print, mask off the part you want to keep with some masking tape and take an artist's eraser to the rest.
-
Good to see some other non-superhero comic characters showing up here, they look pretty accurate from what I can tell.
-
In that case, here's Arwyn from the underappreciated comic Sojourn.

Question for you guys. I've got a few purist figures of comic book characters, but they're not specifically superheroes. Can I post them here or should I be posting somewhere else?

(MOC) Mini-Scale T1 Typhoon from Dino Attack
shadefoundry replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It is! Sadly it's missing the cannon and landing gear from the bottom, and I have yet to replace them, but otherwise it's more or less mint (aside from a few missing stickers and some dust). -

Ahh the nostalgia... Very nice little moc, now I want to get my T1-Typhoon off the shelf and swoosh it around a bit. -

So I'm probably really late on this, but I just saw the images of the Stealth Suit for FFH. I don't really care for the torso or legs, but that head is going to be an amazing replacement of the Jawa head I'm currently using for my custom Spider-Man Noir minifig. Inb4 that suit only comes in the biggest and least interesting sounding set. -
That is kind of a shame, but ghostified versions of characters is still pretty unique and interesting. Heck, if the theme goes more than one wave we might eventually start to see them show up in plastic.
-
They're launching an app with it, which has generally meant plans for 2 - 3 years if it's a big bang theme, so here's hoping this is. Honestly I'm in love with the idea of a theme like this. I missed out on Monster Fighters back in the day since it came during my dark age, so being able to get some sweet horror-esque sets will be fantastic. Also, there's plenty of locations for a theme like this to go, so hopefully this is only the beginning.
