  1. So recently I got my hands on the torso and head piece from the terrible looking sentinel in 76022. I wanted to put something together that was larger and more accurate than the original, but not as large as @I Scream Clone's wonderful moc since I don't have the space for something of that size. I based it off of the design from this image, since the print seemed closer to that design than the traditional one. Criticism and suggestions are welcome. I'll upload images of the finished model when I have the physical parts.
  2. That's my only issue with it, the red is kind of inverted. Still, I'd think there's a good chance that we see an official Superior minifig sooner than later, considering it's basically just a torso that TLG would have to design new, and they could reuse parts for everything else.
  3. Dang I completely forgot about Miles's torso, good catch.
  4. I mean kinda? You can cobble one together but the color scheme is completely wrong, since Superior black and red suit.
  5. I mean if we're just talking variants that people actually care about, we're missing Noir, Big Time, Kaine's Scarlet Spider suit, Future Foundation, All-New 2099, Superior and Ben Reilly's Spidey suit.
  6. Thanks for posting these. The Clock Tower looks fantastic connected to the sets from last year, although I think it needs another one of those tower pieces from the Whomping Willow set to maintain better consistency with how the castle map is generally depicted, since as I understand it, the entrance to the Clock Tower is supposed to run almost parallel to the entrance to the Great Hall.
  7. Gonna add to this even more, the story arc from ANAD was actually called Worldwide, or at least my copies of the trades refer to each volume as such. Something worth noting is that a large portion of that arc focused on cameos. Of course you've got mainstays like Miles showing up, but other more interesting characters showed up as well. Off the top of my head we had Mockingbird, Prowler, Iron Man (of course), Johnny Storm, Cloak & Dagger, Scarlet Spider (Kaine), Anti-Venom (Flash Thompson), Silver Sable. Not sure it really matters or is indicative of anything, but if TLG does decide to loosely adapt Worldwide's premise for the next few Spidey sets, it wouldn't surprise me if we got figures of some of those characters.
  8. I can't seem to find that picture that's been mentioned of the Clocktower being connected to the Great Hall and Whomping Willow pieces, anybody got a link? Or are we not allowed to post it?
  9. I know it's a bit old now, but just a heads up that Amazon Canada has the Ninjago City Docks on sale for 20% off. I just picked up my copy and can't wait to build it.
  10. Honestly I just want more Hogwarts pieces. Ideally I want to be able to build the whole of the castle by the time this theme ends, or at least the locations that matter. I feel like it would be pretty nice if they were to sell single classrooms with a couple of figures. Something like those modules from the Whomping Willow set but alone. Imho those would make pretty sweet $15 - $20 sets.
  11. Ohh! We're doing rankings? Ok so... 1) Clocktower - This is a day 1 buy for me. I've already got the great hall and 2 copies of the whomping willow, so I've got enough castle modules to loosely cobble together about 1/4 of Hogwarts. The set itself looks fantastic and I can't wait to have it connected to the rest of my display. 2) Hagrid's Hut - I wanna say this is day 1, but it's a bit pricey here in Canada. Regardless the build looks really sweet, and it's basically essential for my already existing display. 3) Graveyard - The build isn't phenomenal but the figures are pretty great and the graveyard will probably combine well with the Hidden Side graveyard to make a pretty nice horror scene. 4) Triwizard Task - The dragon is fine. I don't really like the design from the film but I'll probably pick it up since I'm a sucker for dragons. 5) Expecto Patronum - This is low on the list since it's basically a parts pack. I'll pick it up for Sirius Black and the Patronus but it's not high on my list. 6) Knight Bus - I honestly don't understand all the hype around this set. I didn't care about this thing in the books and the films didn't do much to change that for me. If I find it for really cheap I'll snag it but otherwise this is probably a pass. 7) Beauxbatons Carriage - Honestly I don't care about this set at all. Don't get me wrong it's really nice looking and will probably be a pretty good build, but I probably won't be grabbing it since it does nothing for me.
  12. Dang, this is really nice! Once again you've given me a reason to buy a set that I normally wouldn't have any interest in.
  13. I heard early June for the UK and early August for the US/Canada, but I'm sure someone who knows better will be able to confirm.
  14. Thanks for the heads up, I figured as much but its always good to check.
  15. Not sure if anybody else has seen this, but there's an image going around on Instagram that describes an Arrowcave based on the Arrowverse shows. The description of figures seems pretty spot on and there's a piece count and estimated price. Even so, I'm kind of skeptical since it seems too good to be true. Anybody else got any thoughts?
  16. Can't say I even remotely care about Trolls as a license, but if this leads to minifigs based on things like Shrek and How to Train your Dragon, I'm all for it.
  17. Since the spoiler ban is done, here's an update to my Spider-Man Noir minifig, now using the head from the Stealth Suit.
  18. This is a huge thing for me. The fact that I can completely avoid a vehicle if I want to while still being able to get a well-detailed location is fantastic.
  19. This is honestly exactly what I want this theme to be. So far everything is pointing to that being the direction they're taking it, and my god I'd love to have a display that's just all haunted locations to display my many horror minifigs in.
  20. Well that minifigure pack looks pretty good. I'll be picking it up just for the Ned and the half mask Spidey head. That knight armor and helmet is a neat throw-in too, should be a pretty nice pack overall.
  21. So is this confirmed? I've wanted a Ganke Ned figure for a while now to fill out Miles's Peter's cast a bit. The other figures will be nice to get too. I'm assuming we'll be able to snag these on SaH?
  22. So I've had some time to map out the geometry now, and it seems like with 2 copies of the Whomping Willow set, 1 Hogwarts Great Hall and the new Clocktower set, we should be able to cobble together the bottom left quarter of the Hogwarts as @Ferder predicted. I've already got the first 3 sets on that list, so I'll be making space for the Clocktower in order to complete the look. Assuming this iteration of the theme goes on for long enough, we might be able to get a mostly full-sized build of Hogwarts after a while.
  23. So canonically speaking, where will the Clocktower's modules connect to the great hall and Whomping Willow castle parts? Are there any extra modules missing between them?
  24. Oh it's definitely not worth the $70 asking price. I'll probably be picking up Fury eventually since I want that figure, but nothing else in the set really does anything for me. The jet is nice enough, but I can't really see myself displaying it so I don't really have much reason to pick one up.
  25. So my FFH sets have come in finally. The Hydro Man set is fantastic. It's such an appealing display set, and I'm looking forward to building a Spider-Man display with it. The Molten Man set is also really cool. It's super inaccurate, but it looks really sweet regardless and makes for a fantastic Nexo-Knights monster with a bit of modification. I didn't bother with the Stark Jet set, since my budget doesn't allow for it if I want to pick up the Harry Potter sets later in the year, and honestly I don't really care for the Jet one way or another, especially after the fantastic Quinjet from the Endgame wave.
