I was hoping it wouldn't be Rivendell.. Damn it. Now I'll have to buy it for my Lego Elves

Having seen the before version of Cole's Balrog now, I think I'll get 3 and have 1 Evo'd version and 2 pre-Evo minion creatures to inconvenience my Nexo Knights since Cole's beastie has a similar colour scheme to some of Jestro's monsters from wave 1. Love Nya's Water Dragon Evo, I don't need to get the Seabound Nya's Final Form Dragon now. The Evo dragons aren't as good as the Lego Elves dragons, but they're close enough to keep me happy. I hope the Bone warriors get a bone dragon Evo eventually. I like the way there's a generic male and female apprentice in the Brick Box, they'll be easy to modify for kids wanting to make their own self-insert ninja sigfigs

I like the way they set up Chang'e to be either an ally or adversary depending how you look at it. There are two versions of how she ended up on the moon in Chinese mythology. In one it was due to a selfish act where she betrayed her husband, in another it was unplanned when she was trying to secure a return to The Heavenly Realms with her husband and someone else interfered. In both versions she ended up stuck on the moon alone. The 2020 animated movie Over The Moon was a decent sequel to the legend in a next chapter like MK kind of way.. Like how Nezha Reborn is a great sequel to Nezha's legend, and is very Monkie Kid like in it's action focus. There certainly seems to be a trend in animated sequels to Chinese mythological legends in the past few years.

Can't remember now. Think I read it on here or saw it on youtube a few months back. Don't think I've seen anything official from Lego now I think about it -

I thought Lego had officially said they weren't doing any more bigfigs? Isn't that why they turned Sandy from a bigfigure into a minifigure in this year's Monkie Kid sets? -
Orange must mean Space Librarian since you get a free history book when you buy the Orange Spaceman. I just found him for a great price today at WHSmiths in Leeds, West Yorkshire UK.
-
For UK based readers, I just found this weighty tome in the Leeds branch of WHSmiths for a good price.

For any UK based Earthlings, just found this in WHSmiths in Leeds for a great price today. The minifig should be good for space MOCs.

Yeah, it's a great large creature build. The legs aren't great on posability, but it looks amazing and has great parts like the pink crystal parts and the windscreen.

So glad I procrastinated getting set 71772; The Crystal King. Just found it at Argos for £36.50 Cheaper than Cole's Dragon Cruiser

After watching The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, I wonder if the Guardian's Hideout set with the low piece count will be a micro-scale KnowWhere? -
Zombie MiniDolls would be amazing! I wish the Elves or DC Superhero Girls themes had continued and given us more monstrous bad guys. Imagine something like Steam-HeART's concept for Dark Elves actually becoming a thing in Lego!

So... I just realised.. This year in the 41717 Giraffe set, the calendar says 2022. Assuming that Mia went to Africa straight after graduating and before having her daughter, Autumn... We can assume that set 41730, featuring an older Mia with her teenage daughter must be at least set in the year 2033 at the very earliest. I wonder if Diana from set 41334 will show up in any sets as her grown up self? It'd be a cool nod to the history. Also; recurring characters Dash, Chico, Rumble, Twister, Pepper, Cookie, Toffee, Luna, and maybe Bella (depending how old she was originally) are probably all dead in the new timeline. Wonder who'll be the first to MOC a Lego Friends Pet Cemetery Anyway, I doubt Lego have a strict timeline in mind, but it's fun to morbidly speculate

Cosmo the Spacedog will be in the 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy movie, so we're probably getting a new moulded Lego dog in a space suit in 2023. We'd better do anyway, I hope it's not brick built like the Porgs in Space Disney

I wouldn't hold your breath. The Crystalized sets may not have sold well with being so overpriced, so I can imagine Lego may cut corners in future and Crystalized will go down in history as Ninjago's peak point in terms of design and innovation, the likes of which we may never see again. That's just my opinion/expectation though.

I just watched The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and now I wish this year's advent calendar had included a Kevin Bacon minifigure and a new animal mould for Cosmo the Spacedog. I mean we have two different moulds for Krypto the Superdog, why not give us a Cosmo? I suppose she'll appear in the 2023 Guardians sets, I just hope it's a new animal mould and not a brick built thing like the Porgs from Disney in Space -
Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
Killian replied to Soupperson1's topic in LEGO Licensed
I wish Lego would branch out a bit with their Disney themes. We still need playsets based on: Lilo and Stitch The Lion King Hercules Pocahontas Alice in Wonderland 101 Dalmatians The Sword in the Stone The Hunchback of Notre Dame The Jungle Book Duck Tales TaleSpin Gargoyles The Emporer's New Groove Fantasia Tarzan Treasure planet Atlantis Robin Hood Zootopia/Zootropolis Mary Poppins Return To Oz The Muppet Christmas Carol A Bug's Life Muppet Treasure Island Monsters Inc Enchanted Disney Fairies Wreck It Ralph Big Hero 6 Coco Rescue Rangers Wuzzles Descendants I know some characters have appeared in CMF series or as Brickheads, but I want more characters and locations in Minidoll or Minifigure based sets. I don't get why licenses such as Winnie The Pooh only got one set instead of being a 5 set theme etc...
