I do. It gives him an important and useful insight into diversity and tolerance that has had a positive effect on the brand in general. He's been instrumental in improving Lego's policy on inclusion and representation due to his experiences as a member of a minority that he probably wouldn't have considered to such length had he been born with a different sexuality. He's been a force for caring positivity. Unlike certain internet trolls who insult others online hiding behind the anonymity of the internet.

Am I right in thinking that the last new BigFig Lego released was in set 76192 almost 17 months ago? I'm not counting dinosaurs as BigFigs. I've seen people online say that Lego has retired BigFigs, can't remember where though, it was months ago.. I can't find anything official from Lego stating whether this is the case or not however. There does seem to be a trend of Lego making minifig versions of characters that would historically have been bigfigs recently. Existing BigFigs: Maui Bane Sandy Thanos Road Hog Cave Troll Goblin King Killer Croc HP Troll Green Goblin Hulk Grodd Killow Castle Troll Red Hulk Chima Mammoth Mungus Hagrid Darkseid Dogshank Rancor Star Wars snow monster thing (Wampa?) Tiger, red statue, and Yeti Adventurers monsters Various Rock Monsters Cull Obsidian There are probably others I can't think of, but out of the characters listed we've recently had Sandy, Thanos, Green Goblin and Hulk in minifigure form instead of Bigfigs. The trend seems to be supporting the "no more Bigfigs" rumour. I'm not complaining, I prefer minifigs as they fit into the limited space in most sets better. Does anyone have a link to anything definitive Lego's said on the question?

Weird question... Do the sticker sheets in Lego sets vary country to country? Like are the words on the stickers translated into the language of the country the set will be sold in?

Just bought yet another copy of this month's Ninjago magazine. This one had Master of the Mountain Zane in addition to the Vengeboner free gift. So far I've seen copies with Seabound Lloyd, Hydro Whipper, Zane or Nitro as free gifts. I assume there's a Benthomaar version out there since he keeps appearing most months

I'm not sure Lego still do bigfigs... It's been a while and The Hulk, Thanos, Rhino etc have appeared as minifigs recently. Wish they'd release a statement confirming whether we're going to see them again or not

I still think that the Ink theme the bad guys have in the 2023 sets has to tie them in with the ink on the scroll from the show that matches their colour scheme. My favourite Monkie Kid / JTTW Deep Dive channel has an opinion on the significance of the new villains. It makes me wonder if there's an even bigger bad coming in the Summer wave who is in charge of the 3 Demon Kings and Ink Demons? Maybe there's a significance to the snake creature and the reptilian scales depicted on the stickers for set 80043?

No. There's a live action female Doc Ock in some obscure Marvel series who's Otto's daughter; but the main/most well known female Doc Ock is the parallel universe female version from Into The Spiderverse. As far as we know so far, there's no male version on that Earth.

Nadia in set 41743 has pink hair, a skirt and a traditionally feminine occupation. Aliya has stereotypically feminine interests in set 41740, and Adi in set 41732 feels like she's expressing her femininity. I'm interested to see if the new media surrounding this franchise uses They/Them pronouns for anyone. I think this is the first time a single wave of Lego Friends sets has had so much variation in outfits for each character. There aren't many variations of different characters repeated in more than one set. In Ninjago/City/Star Wars/DC/Jurassic World etc. you end up with so many multiples of the exact same minifig (I see you Owen Grady); even in Friends you'd end up with clones of the main girls here and there, but for 2023 it feels like even when you buy more than one Friends set with the same character, you're still getting something new for that character with very few exceptions. It seems only Olly, Leo, Liann and Autumn have their looks repeated so far, and then only in a small number of sets.

Nova has the minidoll "evil face" expression that we've seen on Ragana, Noctura, Maleficent, Lady Tremaine, Vicky etc... I wonder if there'll be some personality clashes as the new friends cast learn to appreciate each other? Nova's meant to be a confident streamer but not great with real life interactions; it's be an interesting twist if she relied on being mean as a defence mechanism to hide her lack of confidence making the new Friends get off on the wrong foot with her and she's like a rival to begin with before they unlock the power of friendship... There's so many possibilities with these plastic people! Hope the new show is watchable on YouTube like Rainbow High, Hidden Side, Ninjago shorts, Monster High, Mermaid High etc...

I find it so weird that the Action and Adventure Themes section gets so much less traffic than the Boring Themes sections.

So what's this about? Does the wooden looking section have a purpose when off the heffalump or does it just lift off to access the ButtMech?

Do we know what characters will be in the sets? It's always interesting to see how the many villains that the show has changed a lot compared to their traditional portrayals will be represented in minifig form

A Walt would make sense, though wouldn't be a very interesting minifig. Maybe if he had one of those Mickey Ears hat things as a new piece or something. I'll be surprised if we don't get a Mickey as The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Wonder if he'll have a cloth skirt or the newish dress piece?

I'm subscribed to most of the ones mentioned. Been trying to figure out how to block Tannerfishies pointless viewgrabbing vids from coming up in my suggestions though. Talk about misleading clickbait titles
