Like Lego does now in at least 2 themes
-
It does sound too good to be true, but also could be a good way for Lego to test a soft reboot with a new set of characters that could be spun off into a next generation kind of show; then if they aren't popular, it's easy to just end the time travel plot and continue to focus on the old Ninja. The biggest problem as a viewer when there's a time travel plot is that it lowers the stakes, since whatever happens in the future can be negated by the heroes dealing with the circumstances that caused that future when they return to the past so the future events lose their impact. If time travel is involved, I hope the Ninja get new faces and hairstyles again. I'm bored of the same minifig parts over and over again

I didn't say my opinion was a popular opinion lol, or I wouldn't have included it in this thread But yeah, I never buy Lego Minecraft unless it's heavily discounted and there's a part I need for a not Minecraft MOC

There's a rumour floating around that the 2023 summer wave will depict the current Ninja teaming up with Ninja from the future to handle a villain using time travel to mess about with things. There's an alleged episode title that's a play on the idea of The Butterfly Effect but referencing a Dragon instead of a butterfly

Wonder when we'll see a trailer or info on season 4 of the cartoon?

I think the brothers, Princess and Goombas I bought on evilbay do the job just fine and probably are a good reflection of how Lego would actually make them.

Lego Minecraft sucks. It was like Lego were like "remember when all our sets were really blocky and looked bad because we hadn't branched out into capturing details and different shapes with our brick repertoire? Let's go back to that and release a load of stuff that looks like a 4 year old put it together from a Classic Brick Box, but we'll slap a licence on it so people will pay high prices for no design effort"

It's long overdue. Lego has horses with a hole in the head, all we would need is a horn piece that fits the hole. So... a boy, a girl, a scientist and a creature sidekick... What could that remind me of? Hope it's at least as good as Hidden Side. It seems like Lego believes in it more than Hidden Side since it's getting more media. I'm cautiously optimistic. Hopefully it gets the same amount of love from Lego that Ninjago and Monkie Kid get

The drugs, the death races, the flamboyantly gay bird, the mutilated undead hordes.... It was Lego's most metal theme before 2023 Lego Friends introduced the serial killer character attacking a dog with a wrench to add it's skull to her collection

Oh yeah, not watched Chima in a while; but yeah those animals were tripping balls

I wonder when we'll see any information on season 4 of the cartoon?

Lego are basing a theme on a psilocybin trip? As cool as a theme based around hallucinogenic entheogens would be (imagine all the trans-neon elements).. It sounds fake, Lego don't have the balls to do something that edgy.. But thanks to Chima, Lego has plenty of moulds for chimp characters, so could be true? Also, just copied this from a google search "Titan is one of the main characters from the 2008 computer-animated film, Space Chimps" . So there's a precedent for the word Titan being associated with chimpanzees. Monkeys have been sent into space, so I could imagine Lego going with that idea for a new spaceship theme, even if it's a dream travelling rather than space travelling ship? Makes me think of

So... This month's Friends magazine is still the G1 girls.. And it looks like the same for February. You'd think Lego would be pushing their new toys? When are we getting this? https://www.blue-ocean.de/lego-friends/detail/detail/lego-friends-2

Duplo already has Disney's Cars. Maybe it'd be too similar? By that argument, nobody would buy Lego

I wish Lego was like Funko, where they get the licence for everything ever and flood the market with hundreds of licenced products every year. Imagine if instead of the CMF blind bags/boxes we got lots of small 6x6 or 8x8 vignettes with a licenced minifigure character in it's own themed build in window packaging like Funko PoPs. They'd be super collectable like Funko or Brickheads and there'd be so many amazing new minifigure prints and parts, some could come with new animals/monsters etc. It'd even bring in consumers that aren't into buying complex Lego sets but would want to collect stackable vignettes of their favourite franchises that don't take up much space. If they branded it as an adult collector line like Lego Stranger Things was, we could see horror and crime franchises and so many more video game characters. It'd even be a good update to Lego's unlicensed In-House themes like the regular CMFs; they could give us characters from the Ninjago/Friends/Hidden Side/Nexo Knights/Chima shows that were never in sets, or different Classic Castle/Pirates/Space factions. They almost did it with Lego Dimensions, but the gaming function killed it for a lot of people. I reckon Lego would make a ton of money off this idea which would create a huge budget for new part moulds

I agree with the Maple quotation. Maybe I'll take them off my ignore list sometime. But yeah, The Art School is the prettiest school of the several Friends Schools we've had. I maybe like it a bit more than the Hidden Side School, though that one's more of a facade really

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Never heard the dust/computer reasons before, it makes more sense though. I've only ever heard lots of people in this country citing the race allegation, wonder if it's some sort of widespread urban legend? -

Wonder if we'll get a piece printed with mouse buttons eventually? If they haven't already and I just don't know? -
A TikTok house is pretty well represented in the episode The Naughty List of season 1 of American Horror Stories. Basically where a bunch of overpaid, usually teenaged people on steroids or with implants, internet influencers get given a mansion to live in where they make online content with pranks, make-up tutorials, dance routines, skateboarding tricks, Tide Pod eating, Cinnamon Challenges, guys going commando in sweat pants for lust clout etc. It's how idiots get famous and make ridiculous amounts of money for being pretty nowadays. It's very contemporary and popular with the Snapchat/TikTok/Onlyfans tweens. I kind of want Zobo to end up being the main villain of the next space theme after Olivia leaves him on Mars or something.
