A Fairy Tale Wars kind of theme would be awesome. Ever After High had some well written, witty webisodes and movies. I'd love Lego to handle a similar concept but as an action theme!

I mean, everyone calls Monster Fighters a horror theme, but it's Lego so the monsters were all cutesy. Even the Lego Demogorgon didn't look scary because Lego doesn't do actual horror. Monster High dolls are more horror themed than any Lego product, even Lego's rotting flesh ice zombies in the last wave of Chima

Totally do it! Just like Lego, drawing is a great way to be creative; and creativity is a great source of enjoyment! There's always something satisfying about having made something with your own hands. I expect you'll be able to buy a sticker sheet on Bricklink eventually once the set has been out for a while. I think Lego will eventually do room sets for Autumn and Paisley once their houses retire. We need pics of your Leo's house MOC

The villains in the 2023 Ninjago Core sets are horror themed

I'd use 2 of that rope piece and make each rung with 1 of the red pieces from this and 2 of this piece to hold each rung onto the rope pieces

Thanks

The Ninja went into space in the TV show. Surprised Ninjago Legacy hasn't covered that to throw a bone to the Space fans, though I suppose City has that covered. Ninjago Master of the Mountain had several volcanic region sets. Dimension hopping would be fun again, it's been a while since the Chima and Ninjago crossovers in the TV show and the Ninja involvement in Lego Dimensions. A Lego TV show multiverse would be fun with the Ninja going to Monkie Kid and Dreamzzz worlds. I'd like a season with the Ninja transported to a proper Sword and Sorcery world (Shintaro doesn't count) with Unicorns, Trolls, Knights, Witches etc. Or a Greek/Norse Myths season. Magic Schools are still popular, something based around that could be interesting. Classic movie monsters too like Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein's Monster etc. Or a full on Zombie Apocalypse or Space Alien invasion could be fun if handled well. You are going to love seasons 3 and 4 of Lego Nexo Knights

Could Lego really help with depression and anxiety?

Why have you been watching me army building?... But seriously, Lego is my mindfulness exercise. -

Not 2023 Friends related, but don't know where else to share it. I just drew myself as a minidoll using Niko and Zac as reference Ignore the shine on the photograph I'm thinking of using the image as something of an avatar if I decide to do reviews of the new Friends sets or Rainbow/Shadow High toys etc. Though I only have Leo's Room and The Mobile Bubble Tea Shop so far. I need to make more purchases

That would all be amazing! Minifigures make so much sense for them to be able to branch out into things like Mario Kart. It'd be like Lego City Stuntz, but so much better

The clock in Nova's bedroom says 09:08 That's pretty early in the day to drop around to a friend's place for gaming. Did Zac sleep over in that room with 1 bed?

Can't wait to get all the new Friends sets, but this one is my most anticipated. Though 09:08 on the clock suggests that Zac is either round at Nova's house very early or he stayed the night! Wonder if these two are just friends?

The Philosopher's Stone?

We do have a lot of sand green castle parts now, so maybe a new colour would be good for more MOC potential? But I suppose there's only so many colours that would fit the Hogwarts colour palette.. So dunno A life sized one would be cute. I wouldn't want it, but it'd be cute

I'm expecting them to have to go up against someone with a name like "Lord Nightmare", "The Boogyman" or "Frightmare" and his minions trying to turn good dreams into nightmares. Maybe we'll see an evil horse, a literal Night Mare? I wonder what new moulds for creatures we'll see that could be recoloured for other themes like Monkie Kid/Harry Potter/Ninjago? I can imagine that if the theme features chimpanzees like the rumours suggest, they'll probably have the hairpiece from Sun Wukong in the Monkie Kid theme. Unless they resurrect the Gorilla heads from Chima?

I bought Lego's buildable Niffler years ago https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions/71253 If we get Gringotts this year, I wonder if the other 14+ set will be the white dragon to go on the roof? Maybe it would use some Ninjago parts? They did lol https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions/71253 They'd need to do several new animal moulds to make that awesome! Knowing Lego we'd get a big set with not many animals, but maybe also expansion sets, each with a new animal that can connect to the big set so Lego gets lots of sales. Hopefully some of the creatures in Lego Dreamzzz can be recoloured for HP sets I think we'll get most of those eventually, though Lego don't like doing establishments that sell alcohol.. I think we only got the Star Wars Cantina because it was on an alien world and could be argued that it may only sell soft drinks. But The Leaky Cauldron is very much a London Pub. Having said that however, we did get The Three Broomsticks which is a Pub, the one at Universal Studios wouldn't even sell 32 year old me alcohol without ID so it's definitely got an alcohol license. Lego does bend it's rules when they know something will sell well. My biggest concern about Lego making these buildings is that I hope they're not the next wave of Moments/Banners, I want full playsets

I hope we get them, but Lego have been known to retire themes before completing the roster of characters I wonder if they'll stick with brick built Koopas to save on new moulds, but do Mario, Peach, Toad, Luigi, Wario etc as minifigs

Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
Killian replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Licensed
I imagine the theme would have to be super popular and become "evergreen" before we get lots of new moulds for characters. I imagine the first couple of years will repeat Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Super Sonic, and Sonic mostly. I wonder if Metal Sonic will be on a Battle Droid body or a minifig torso, assuming we get him/it -
Unpopular Opinion. Some of the AFOLs in the Licensed Theme and Star Wars forums act like entitled, tantrumming/tantruming (why is that not in the dictionary?) children who get off on arguing and insulting each other. My ignore list keeps growing and it gets me like

Buy the 2023 Friends sets. Always prioritise the better sets! But yeah, Friends is more popular than Avatar, so I expect lots of retailers to be offering better discounts on Avatar sets a lot sooner than Friends. The first Avatar wave was already a third off or better within about a month of the theme launching in the toy stores here. They had to reduce the price during the weeks running up to Xmas because even parents in panic buying for the holidays mode weren't buying Avatar

If time travel and future ninja are going to feature in United or whatever it'll be called, it'd be an interesting twist if the future Elemental Master of Fire was evil, or if all the future Ninja were and the current Ninja's goal is to work out how to stop them becoming evil from the past. It'd fit with Lego's love of stories where the bad guys eventually turn good
