Missing the Comic Con ones, not being loaded and all. Three of the early ones; the large bat symbol suit, the Dark Knight suit and Bruce Mk 1. The two winged ones from the Catwoman Chase and Arkham Mk 2. Also 60’s Bruce and Bat. I don’t have the FaF suit either. Other than that I would consider myself up to date. I have also modded one to match the direct-to-DVD suit. Collecting the same fig from different sets seems like a waste of time to me. Without labelling them you just have four of the same suit. I’m not sure whether the Nightwing suit from TLBM can be considered a Batsuit in this instance.

Fantastic Beasts 2018 - Speculation & Future Set Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Ookami's topic in LEGO Licensed
If that is true about Nightmare my son will actually physically explode. In which case I will be billing Lego for a mop. -
As seen in the review video the power blasts fit onto the stud with bar, meaning that they can be handheld. If they have the recess for a stud, they might very well have a recess for a bar. Ergo they might well be able to fit onto the wands.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
According to the press release, B’dg is in it as well, and Aquaman’s seahorse Storm. I’m not fussed on whether the costumes are anachronistic, I’m more impressed with the range of characters. Lego and DC showing faith in those who aren’t the Trinity is a good thing, even if some of them remain pixelated. This may prove to be another Lego DC movie that is better than a similar live action one. Either which way, happy days! -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Is it wrong of me to think that Ace would be cool? Or have I been Stockholmed with Batfigures? Zatanna would be cool, Fate very cool. Oh, and Atom. Good way to avoid new moulds and step away from SDCC Palmer Atom. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Hmm, so in summary, Captain Boomerang and meh. I know I’ve seen the pics already, so I kind of knew what to expect, but it is a tad disappointing. Discounted and a Digger fig, and I’m in. Full price, I’m not seeing it. It’s like they popped sprung suspension in to justify the price, and I t’s not like anyone has got this far without a Batfig. -
Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Avengers is the only one Brolin hasn’t done, it was definitely him in GotG. Bear in mind that CGI will vary slightly, even with the same concept. The live action actors’ looks change from film to film, and I would bet that their concepts are easier to maintain.- 3,962 replies

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
This doesn’t explain the lack of printing in the comic based sets for DC. That has nothing to do with final renders and everything to do with cost. We all know what happened earlier in the year, and the switch from lots of printing back to minimal will surely be one of the results of that. -
Well that sorts out how the Superman jail attaches to the Luthor mech. I was stoked for these sets before. The box art is good and I like the Metropolis background and the new logo. I can almost forgive the lack of extremity printing. Roll on 2018.

Pish and tish, I can’t read all the posts in all the threads!

The modulars have always been in my rear view mirror and this one has really come close to being on my wish list. The Nighthawks type diner is a great look, and the contemporary feel of the gym and recording studio shows a greater eye for detail. On a side note, no one has madd mention of the fact that Ron Burgundy is in the gym. With a stunning bouffant, to boot.

Juniors box art available to see if you know where to look. Joker car, Batwing and a cave section, along with JT Robin.

That’s the one, I’m sure I’ve seen one that shows how the cars attach to the track. Definitely seen a few shots of how the track pieces look. I’m torn, it’s a big spend and only two figs that pique my interest really, there’s a lot of cool things about it. A lot to justify.

Have a look at the review, there’s some shots there that show a few details. Also Brick Fan and I think Brick Fanatics have reviewed it as well.

Don’t tease, J4ck! -
That’s the thing, it was blurry, the sets were obvious but any real detail was missing. Just checked all the Instagram accounts I follow and they appear to have been taken down. That’s really odd of TLG to be overly protective of something that got announced months ago with photos.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Toys R Us UK had an early Black Friday today. Picked up Ultimate Batmobile and Arkham for less than £150 for the two. I don’t often splash the cash but I had a bit of extra so figured what the hell -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Glad to see proper images rather than the prelims. Made sort of bittersweet by the lack of Samurai, Gleek, vintage Cyborg, and some of the more publicised suits. However, Ghost, Quilt, Egghead, Condiment King, even Boomer Snr. are all welcome to the fold. Compliments the CMF line well, too. -
Having seen the future Nexo sets, I see scope for Green Lantern. Also there are some clearer pictures of Jason Todd Robin and disgruntled Joker. There may be a distinct lack of leg detail in 2018, but at least we get a fairly new selection.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Well, the Batsuits rumour was pretty spot on, as were most of the actual fig rumours. Some fun ones and some to add to the ranks of heroes and villains. I’m happy with that series. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

It’s an odd bunch because most of them are existing figs, and three are future ones we have all but confirmation of. Those newer ones, if they are the real deal, look a bit lazy. The tags seem to imply customs, so who knows. -

Ok, thank you. That’s nuts, having yet another promotion for the sets. Perhaps us other worldwide collectors should try and be hard to please
