Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
That being said the Hush CMF is going to be a lot kinder on the wallet. 1. Hush (all versions) 2. Tommy Elliot. -
That gives no indication of whether there is more than one.

Killer Moth? Nah, if anything he’s a fan of Per Degaton. Doesn’t shut up about him. -

I wasn’t expecting a retrospective set, I must say. Can’t say that I’m particularly whelmed by it though.- 3,962 replies

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Don’t get me wrong, I’m really grateful for all the new figs that have come our way recently. It’s more the annoyance that certain characters get dragged out for another round while some, which a lot of fans clamour for, are still out in the cold. It’s all matter of time stuff, but we could have seen more sooner. I know a certain amount of it will be down to what sets they could go in. Lego isn’t daft enough to just give us a straight up DC themed CMF, but they also have to get pretty archival when it comes to appropriate builds. All I ask is if they start a new team, could they be so kind as to complete it? -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

There are hundreds of characters which haven’t made it into physical figure form. LB3 did a lot to highlight that for us. And then they didn’t scratch the surface. I would be bankrupt but happy to see a bolstered roster. -

Interesting, didn’t realise the embargo wasn’t just Lego. Thinking about it now, I haven’t seen an Imaginext one either, and they have done Mr Miracle and Carrie Kelly! -
Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Started a few pages back. There’s a strong rumour of a big price Marvel set, with the only other detail given that it is a good guy ship. The options are slim, and an odd-sized hulkbuster helmet has been seen. At this stage there isn’t a lot more to go on as the good leakers here either don’t have the info or have to keep shtum until it’s safe to do so.- 3,962 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
As the only brick built figs I own are Clayface and Lex Luthors original mech, it wasn’t until I saw one of your earlier displays that I realised most of the brick builds are the same height. That’s another Lego conformity going unnoticed ? -

There’s the Ultimate Batmobile for certain. Not 100% on the other. -

Changing the subject ever so slightly, the balloon modellers hat in the new CMF is the new Penguin/Craddock hat in green, for any Hatter purists out there. -

Wasn’t he shortlisted for TLBM? Should come as a twofer, really. Good for me Overdue. And I agree about the activity book. Copperhead would be good for me, likewise Grundy. I’m a sucker for Injustice Gang members. I’m going to throw my curveball in for the obscure characters and go with Warrior. Then we get Guy Gardener for the first time in a suit that hardly anyone knows or wants -

I know, right? Then Lego will have finished a team. A bit of scouring on Amazon. There’s obviously no picture yet but the blurb is there. The Visual Dictionary covers TLBM, so there is also potential for another Batsuit. The other book is a Superhero Training Handbook with Aquaman. As long as he isn’t wearing blue camouflage, I don’t mind. -

There’s another book coming at about the same time, but that states that it comes with Aquaman. A variation would be nice. -

Think yourself lucky that you can still buy Lego in your local Toys R Us. Thanks to the larger stores closing end of March/April, the only Lego available is the remainder of the Dimensions sets. Everything else is stripped out. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Mine are all going to the Batsuits, and a couple may find their way into my WIP Batwardrobe from the Batcave. I don’t think the Rogues appreciate having the Bat symbol on their bases, anyway. -

Do you think Lego would be so cruel as to not produce a movie-based set? Don’t get me wrong, I might get that Aquaman sub I mentioned earlier, but they might come up with something that isn’t a ruined Atlantean temple. @Duncan Young I would love Black Adam to add some weight to my Forever Evil-era Injustice League, but it won’t be him. As much as there are more Bat Rogues, I would rather someone else. Poor Cyborg doesn’t have a foe, but is there anyone famous enough? I’m going to put my hypothetical money on a Giganta fig, as @Raptor of Vengeance mentioned. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
RedHoodPug replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
They are only placeholder figures in the leaked images, so don’t hold too much stock in them regarding detail. The Talons set has Batman, Ace, and two Talons. The Brother Eye set has two Batmans/men, and what is most likely an OMAC (if they are using Zebra Man as that placeholder it will be for the Mohican rather than the stripes). -
There might also be the element of design. Batman is easy as to create a set for. Think of an extravagant vehicle and he probably had one, as did his rogues. Without building the LoD Darth Vader house or Hall of Justice for boys, the build choices are limited. We’ve had the invisible light aircraft, another - admittedly better - Lexmech, apparently Killer Frost moonlights clearing snow, and Atlantis is in ruins again. Mind you, I quite liked the microbuild submarine for Aquaman that Dimensions produced. It would be nice upscale, if, you know, pointless. They dabble with the most vibrant characters in the Lanterns. Maybe alternating between Bats and everyone else is a way of spreading the love a bit further.

Not really, Talons are where the action is. The impression given is that it is bigger than minifig scale.

Hey, hey, hey! It might be recoloured. Batwing is definitely not the Beyond vehicle, its a scaled down version of the scaled down version of what we had before, in the Tumbler or Batmobile kind of way. Minimalist. I like the Talon sets vehicle. The RC set could be fun.

Are they likely to make a set based on a smaller set from the same wave of the same theme? This is where someone throws a Star Wars set in to put me back in my box. I know that we have little to go on, but I don’t think it’s hulkbuster. Just my two cents.- 3,962 replies
