  1. @makoy was the fold out movie scene inside the box or a separate item? I only ask because no one else has mentioned them so far and it looks unlikely that it would be inside the box. I’m not going to be annoyed about it, it’s just a nice touch.
  2. Some of them have a watermark saying Afro man
  3. Note to self; don’t be such a cynic
  4. Isn’t the Juniors set due to have Damian as Robin, or did I just dream that?
  5. Type the name into the search on Instagram, should pop up no worries. That Robin would appear to be a custom, unless the citation is to the source rather than the customiser.
  6. Have a look on Instagram, best place to start. Is the Space/Batman logo mashup definite or hoped for? I really like the idea of it, even if it will be lost under the helmet cowling, and after seeing Firestarter it’s feasible.
  7. The new figs look pretty sweet, Firestarter moreso. On the Bricktober front, Mrs RedHoodPug picked up my reserved set today, then openly lamented that it was one per customer. The girl behind the counter said that it was one of each theme per customer - they had all of the 4 packs available - but it was ok to have a second one for RedHoodPug Jr! Score!
  8. Always a fan of colour contrast profile bricks to show decay. Good job, nice one Fjotten.
  9. Ditto. It’s warmed on me since I first saw it and wondered what they did to the original series. If the movie expands the roster, I will be happy. If they produce sets off the back of it, I will still be happy, even if they have weird heads that need replacing.
  10. With NYCC coming up, is there any likelihood of set reveals? It might be wishful thinking on my part, as I always feel that SDCC gets better/more exclusive news.
  11. At this point of the movie Alfred had already lost his cowl, in fact almost as soon as he had put it on. Annoying, I know, but kudos for accuracy.
  12. I am aware of that, but 17 710xx sets have been CMFs, whereas 2 have been Simpsons, a theme that hasn’t been seen for two years. I’m not in a position to confirm or deny, I am commenting on the likelihood, and quite happy to be proven wrong. Also the information came from Brickipedia, not exactly the leading authority on correct information. They cite 71020 as Simpsons CMF 3, when it is relatively common knowledge that will be TLBM 2.
  13. I can’t find a direct confirmation, but the 710xx series has been CMFs up to and including Ninjago, and should include Batman wave 2. I would be incredibly surprised if that set number became a Simpsons set.
  14. You have to consider the cost of licensing when comparing a theme Lego owns and one it doesn’t. Yes, WB have benefitted greatly from this union, but it’s not personal, it’s just business.
  15. Brick Fan says it won’t get early release. I suppose with a November release they need to promote it, not that they are preaching to the choir already.
  16. It’s something that’s going to split opinion, the FaF figs. There are people here that couldn’t give two hoots about them, while others are really excited about them in particular. If Lego felt that the FaFs were a potential moneyspinner, wouldn’t it be remiss of them as them as a company to not take advantage of that? Particularly at a time when they are feeling the pinch. It’s a bind, and a big financial hit, but I can completely understand where they are coming from. Also bunging the Justice League in there would be coming out left field just a touch. I personally am pleased that we will be able to get Leaguers on the cheap, as well as more villains. It’s swings and roundabouts.
  17. Given that we knew that there would be no more Uber villains, that there would be FaF figures appearing at some stage, the price, what characters are in the movie and that the manor in the movie is vast, what were people expecting? There’s the now expected level of detail, a handful of new figs, a rollercoaster, big Joker face sign, among other things. I just get surprised that when Lego pulls out the stops - especially on a licensed product - people are still good for a moan. Or am I missing something? I’m not looking for a fight, I’m just surprised at people’s expectations sometimes.
  18. Is that the official line or the eventual response from one of the stores? On a separate note, the birthday loot was well received. Does anyone else’s Catwoman cowl have a loose fit? Also have the Scuttler. I have to say that being an old school Batfan, I didn’t think I would like it, but it is a great build and encapsulates the extravagant feel of this Batman.
  19. Indeed, going by Brickset. A couple of SHG characters making their minifig debut wouldn’t be a bad thing *cough Bumblebee cough*
  20. @Duncan Young @Numbuh1Nerd not forgetting Hawkgirl and Jayna. Sure one is a gender swap of an existing figure and the other has a twin brother without whom she can’t swim, but they will both be easily affordable. The representation has got a lot better. For a bonus point Clayface got Kate Micucci’s voice that worked surprisingly well and gave a sly nod to Lady Clay. I know their presence is on screen only, but you also have ‘Putor and Phyllis keeping the end up. So to speak.
  21. A point of reference, what a clever idea I knew Two-Face was based on B:TAS, only his face was the wrong colour, couldn’t remember where from. Thank you
  22. Chris Pratt is Emmett, Star Lord and Owen from Jurassic World. I'm confused about Chris Pine as Cap, though. Pretty sure he was Steve Trevor, not Steve Rogers. I'm going to muddy the waters here, but as the Penguin and Poison Ivy in TLBM are based off of earlier movie counterparts, do Danny deVito and Uma Thurman get a nod? And for an extra brain hurter, does (actor whose name escapes me) the guy who played Jango Fett get credited for all of the Clone Troopers?
  23. I've been looking at the cast list for LB3, as there is a healthy wish list there. My nostalgia is keen on the Gray Ghost from B:TAS, one of my favourite episodes.
  24. I know, having got my hands on Lightning Lad, I thought that the LSH trinity would soon be complete. I'm not their biggest fan, but not making the final fig of three is a little disappointing.
  25. Wow, so they picked up on the gag that Robin's trunks are bunched up on one side, but reversed the decision to give Green Arrow arm print.
