  1. Lol… maybe? ;) Lovely MOC @ChristopherLee! I do hope LEGO releases something like this!
  2. @Sunset550 glad to hear that! Then I can finally watch it in English!
  3. CCR Bad Moon Rising. So good! Plus I love playing my guitar along to this.
  4. Aww man, no digital entries! This might've been the first EB contest I joined... and I have no zombie minifigures. Any reason for the prohibition of digital entries?
  5. @makoy LOVELY Clayface hand!! Makes me wonder why TLG didn't put something similar in the official set.
  6. Hello everyone! I just created a new blog where I post about LEGO stuff!

Hopefully this is allowed, if not, mods please let me know. (I didn't want to create a topic for it, so just posted a status update).

    Here's the link! https://vaderfan2187.wordpress.com/

  7. Looks great @roadstermatt! From this image, I have to ask, was it based off a quadjumper? :)
  8. Hello everyone! I have a technical question about Eurobricks. As of now, I have 18 followers on Eurobricks, but the profile display page only shows up to 12. Every time someone follows me, the followers shown on the profile are messed up. I was wondering, is there a way to select which members I want to permanently put as followers on my profile? If there is no such function, could the mods consider adding a function like that? Thanks in advance! VaderFan2187
  9. Shopping Mall/ Darth Maul.
  10. That's bad, but hopefully it's a one-off problem. I saw it in @Brick Ministry's speed build, but did not know it will break. Has anyone gotten a similar example? Is it an issue with rubber? Because my Poggle the Lesser's head is rubber and it keeps falling off the torso's neck. I had that issue with the Lord of the Rings sets, but just keep turning the heads and eventually they will loosen. It worked for me… Yes, that was disappointing, JANGBRiCKS noted that in his review. I prefer the cleaner look of the old one. Not sure if this is intentional or an error, though. Maybe you should change the back to add space and a removable roof?
  11. Anyone else noticed the sudden maintenance last night (for me)? I was editing a topic to add images and when I was almost done, it went offline and I lost my progress

    1. JACKATTACKS

      JACKATTACKS

Last night I tried to go to eurobricks but it was under maintenance as well. Sucks that you lost your progress! :(

At least I managed to add my images today :classic: so it's all good!

  12. By the time I reached there everything was (Qui)-Gone. never mind…
  13. Looking lovely @Ramses25! Using those ratcheted joints is a great idea.
  14. Ignoring the polybags and other stuff, here is a list of The LEGO Batman Movie's sets: http://brickset.com/sets/theme-The-LEGO-Batman-Movie/ Here is a topic where you can rank them from favorite to least favorite! I own none of them, so am going by looks of the sets and by reviews. #18: Scarecrow Special Delivery The minifigs in the set are subpar and playability is lacking. The builds aren't overly exciting either. Minifigures: 3/5; Builds: 2.5/5; Playability: 2/5; Price: 4/5; Personal Rating: 1.5/5; TOTAL = 2.6/5 #17: Scarecrow Fearful Face-off There's just something I don't like about these Scarecrow sets, I guess XD Batman is beltless in this set, which looks strange, Scarecrow looks great and his helicopter is good, but the Gotham Energy Facility build is pretty lousy in my opinion. Minifigures: 3.5/5; Builds: 2/5; Playability: 2.5/5; Price: 3.5/5; Personal Rating: 1.5/5; TOTAL = 2.6/5 #16: Mr. Freeze Ice Attack The minifigures are okay in the set (Batman, Mr. Freeze and a security guard), but the build looks too j-u-n-i-o-r-i-z-e-d (the spam filter changes it into "insert that tiresome argument", sorry ) in my opinion, and the small Gotham Energy build eats up pieces and compromises the quality of the mech in my opinion. Minifigures: 3.5/5, Builds: 3/5, Playability: 2.5/5, Price: 4/5, Personal Rating: 2/5, TOTAL = 3/5 #15: Killer Croc Tail Gator Don't get me wrong, the figures are lovely and the truck is pretty awesome, but the really terrible price drags this set down low. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 4.5/5, Playability: 3/5, Price: 1/5, Personal Rating: 2/5, TOTAL = 3/5 #14: The Scuttler The figures included are fantastic, but I'm just not won over by how the Scuttler itself looks. Plus the play features aren't too good and so is the price. Minifigures: 5/5, Builds: 2.5/5, Playability: 2/5, Price: 2.5/5, Personal Rating: 2.5/5, TOTAL: 3/5 #13: The Riddler's Riddle Racer The figures are really great, but to me they're included just to mask the fact that the car which you get in the set is pretty poor. The spring-loaded shooter missiles, when shot into the air, fly way too far for play, and the car doesn't really relate to The Riddler. Also, the more I look at the car, the less I like it. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 2.5/5, Playability: 2.5/5, Price: 2.5/5, Personal Rating: 3/5, TOTAL: 3/5 #12: Two Face's Double Demolition Two-Face is a great minifigure and the GCPD officers are nice, but I don't really like the builds themselves. Minifigures: 4/5, Builds: 3/5, Playability: 2.5/5, Price: 3/5, Personal Rating: 3/5, TOTAL: 3.1/5 Now we move into the "Great set, but other sets in the lineup are even better" territory… #11: Clayface Splat Attack Highly poseable (I like it) and the reversing of his eyes makes a comical expression, as can be seen in @makoy's review of the set. Still, I'm not a huge fan of the figures. Minifigures: 2.5/5, Builds: 4/5, Playability: 4/5, Price: 4/5, Personal Rating: 3.5/5, TOTAL: 3.6/5 #10: Bane's Toxic Truck Attack That marvellous Bane bigfig is the reason I love this set. It's amazing. And the Gatling gun is quite cool as well! However, aside from that, there isn't anything overly special, though I think there is suspension. Minifigures: 4/5, Builds: 3/5, Playability: 3/5, Price: 3/5, Personal Rating: 3.5/5, TOTAL: 3.3/5 #9: Batcave Break-In The alternate Bat-suits, Bruce Wayne, and Alfred are fabulous, and the Batcave itself is cool, but I feel too many parts were wasted on the vehicles and could've been put into making a better Batcave. And I also don't think it's worth it for the price. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 4/5, Playability: 4/5, Price: 2.5/5, Personal Rating: 3.5/5, TOTAL: 3.7/5 #8: The Joker's Balloon Escape Batman AND Joker in the cheapest set? And some cool balloons? If I got this, I would probably use it as a parts pack, but the value of this set definitely cannot be denied. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 3/5, Playability: 3/5, Price: 4.5/5, Personal Rating: 4/5, TOTAL: 3.8/5 #7: Catwoman's Catcycle Chase An exclusive Catwoman plus Batgirl and Robin is most welcome in a $19.99 set! The figures and value are awesome, plus Catwoman's motorcycle isn't a bad build either. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 3.5/5, Playability: 2.5/5, Price: 4.5/5, Personal Rating: 4/5, TOTAL: 3.8/5 Now we enter the section where the sets beat each other by thin fractions… #6: The Penguin's Arctic Roller I love this set! The crazy styling of the car is lovely, plus the spring-loaded shooters are well integrated (and in dark blue, which I don't have yet). The minifigures are scarce but quite good. Minifigures: 4/5, Builds: 4.5/5, Playability: 4/5, Price: 4/5, Personal Rating: 4.5/5, TOTAL: 4.2/5 #5: The Joker's Notorious Lowrider The build is AMAZING, and the figures are extremely detailed! Absolutely a winning set… except for the fact that it is very poorly priced. Still, the sheer quality of the contents secure the set at a relatively high spot on my list. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 4.5/5, Playability: 4.5/5, Price: 2/5, Personal Rating: 4.5/5, TOTAL: 4/5 #4: The Batmobile Yep, I love it. It has better value than The Joker's Notorious Lowrider, but it has poorer figures. The wheel positioning is great as well! To me, this set wins over The Joker's Notorious Lowrider by a very thin margin. Minifigures: 4/5, Builds: 4.5/5, Playability: 4.5/5, Price: 4/5, Personal Rating: 4.5/5, TOTAL: 4.3/5 Let me just say it was incredibly difficult to choose between the remaining three… #3: Arkham Asylum Great build and great minifigures, and a good price to boot! There are only some minor problems with the set, but overall it is an amazing set. Minifigures: 4.5/5, Builds: 5/5, Playability: 5/5, Price: 4.5/5, Personal Rating: 4.9/5, TOTAL: 4.78/5 #2: The Batwing Many people on the board disliked the set when it was first revealed due to the inclusion of only 3 minifigures. However, the detail on the figures is great, I think the Batwing itself is a solid build, and the VTOL action feature is definitely lovely. Minifigures: 4/5, Builds: 5/5, Playability: 5/5, Price: 4.9/5, Personal Rating: 5/5, TOTAL: 4.78/5 And now for the No. 1 set on my list… (though you may have deduced it by noticing it missing from the aforementioned sets…) #1: THE ULTIMATE BATMOBILE!! Sorry for the caps, but I love the set! The playability is great and the separation feature works smoothly, and I love the minifigures (though another more major Batman Villain could've been included). Currently in my mind, this is the best The LEGO Batman Movie set. Though I will probably change my mind in a couple of months. :) Minifigures: 4.9/5, Builds: 5/5, Playability: 5/5, Price: 4.9/5, Personal Rating: 5/5, TOTAL: 4.96/5 Thanks for reading! And post your lists below too!
  15. My favorite would have to be Salvage MEC.
  16. Hi all, here is a thread to ask/answer questions about LEGO set availability in New Zealand. I have a question as well :) Does NZ get U.S. retailer exclusives? Like Penguin Arctic Roller. If so, where can I find them? Thanks in advance, VaderFan2187
  17. Thanks! Work on it has stalled recently but I will post updated pictures soon. I built side walls, more cells, and the kitchen.
  18. I was talking about Samurai X. I don't think they were in the same shot.
  19. Remember, there are people on the right-wing on EB as well. Saying stuff like that shows your intolerance for right-wing views as well. But back to TLBM itself: from what I've seen, it seems okay, just a joke here and there. If a character was openly gay that'd be another discussion point, but I think these people are stretching it a bit too far...
  20. Thanks. Then maybe I will wait till AG2 starts before I join.
  21. Hello all! This is a thread to post general questions about Ninjago and get answers from other members of the community! I have one question too! In Ninjago, the ninjas have signature weapons that they use a lot. Kai's is a katana, Jay's is nunchucks, Cole's is a scythe, Zane's is shurikens/ninja stars, Nya's is a sai, but what is Lloyd's? I would really like to know. Thanks in advance, and post LEGO Ninjago-related questions as well if you have any! :)
  22. As a knight now, I have the option, which confirms that is only allowed for knights and up.
  23. Thanks @dgherko! Update #2: Here is my next MOC, something that might sit at the $30 price range. I call it "Siege Tower Assault". It has 267 pieces. Siege Tower Assault by VaderFan2187 on Photobucket The set comes with 2 Bad Knights, 1 Bad Knight Commander, and 1 Good Knight. Play features include a folding ramp, a hidden stud shooter in the siege tower, rolling wheels for the siege tower, plus a rapid flame stud-shooting cart for the Good Knight. The flame stud-shooting cart(?), I must admit, was included solely to prop up the piece count, but that's what is done sometimes in sets, right? :) Here's some other views: Side note: Being a guy who loves puns, I find it a little funny that I became a EB Knight in a Castle topic!
