[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Another solution could be to operate each leg (including hip) separately. And also I never meant to sound like I was actually asking you to do such btw. I was just suggesting random ideas. I'm ambitious I guess idk. But really I never meant to put pressure on you to actually make it motorised I was just proposing ideas, though I disagree that even two EV3 motors could do such lol, in my opinion you'd have to buy some small but powerful motors instead and actually tinker with the electronics to link it up to a EV3 computer or any other system of circuitry plus modify the motor to be compatible with Lego axles in the first place. Apart from that I completely agree with Tommy on his solution for the problem though. -
[MOC] AT-DP from Star Wars Rebels
Tracytron replied to DarthTwoShedsJackson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I apologise if this kinda counts as spam since this topic is so old but I don't because it helps improve it to people that prefer that but anyway you forgot to put a link to what you're referring to.- 45 replies

I've been looking around on the internet to find a Motorised Lego Military Submarine MOC with instructions but I couldn't even find one without instructions that was motorised. I found another forums sight (I don't remember what it was called) and in a thread another person was building one too. As far as his progress had got it was just the side thrusters lol but thanks to him I've got a design for those side thrusters. I also found this guys YouTube channel a while back https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU9XPp9OXEoUX6vyoDn1QlQ who has made some INCREDIBLE ACTUALLY FLOATING boat MOCs and hes even sunken them all in his pool LMAO but in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx22w1cli-E he explains how he does it. And also I found another website http://www.rc-sub.com/resources/index.php5 about RC Submarines and it listed lots of different diving systems each with their pros and cons unfortunately, but I've decided which diving method to use for it, which is the RCABS (Recirculating Compressed Air Ballast System) more specifically the RCABS-R (No clue what the "R" stands for. "Resurfacing"?; "Auto Resurfacing"? No clue) so I've covered 3/5 of the mechanical side of the commission (The other parts being the "Dive Wings" and linking it all up lol) so whoever I end up commissioning only has to do the shell and the other 2/5 of the mechanical side. Also other aspects of MOCing I'm looking for in whoever I commission is shaping, 3D modelling (For waterproof seals wherever necessary), interiors and in making instructions for models. So do any of you have any suggestions on who I could commission to make it? Thanks in advance. Also I AM aware that it will require at least 2 or 3 Non-Lego parts, that being the Valves and/or the One-way Air Pump and Ballast Bladder.

[Model MOC] T-47 Airspeeder (Snowspeeder)
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
oh i can help with that; just attach a binocular piece on that clip and then put a screwdriver in for the lower gun and then a 1/3 pole for the upper gun like Larry Lars on flickr- 161 replies

I just got told off for commenting on an old topic but I didn't think it was old enough for it to count so whats the max age of a topic for it to be inappropriate to comment on?

Thunderbirds fan? Ps you'll only really understand why I'm asking this if you are.

Light stone grey and dark stone grey to be precise Does anyone here know which one is smaller? I like rebel snowspeeders to be as small as possible. Although you can't deny that they ARE missing a few angels such as the canopy and in the front To me it's just a very dull white and also that they are very weathered

Oh thanks

Oh yeah forgot about that I just skimmed through the rules cause I didn't expect it to be any or at least much different from other sites and if memory serves me correctly I'm only a member of 2 other forum sites

wouldnt the fact that it was made in 2009 just add to how ridiculous it is that lego havent done that yet?

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars

https://www.flickr.com/photos/28192677@N06/albums/72157626369894865 flickr user "Larry Lars" started making a great rebel snowspeeder moc back in 2006 and probably finished his 1.0 one or two months later but stopped updating it in 2011 it seems like and he even made instructions for it but i like rebel snowspeeders white not grey but im out right terrible at breaking up colours. if any of you wish to build this for yourself and want a white one too then please show me some pics of it and what it looks like with dark grey markings, red markings and orange markings if you have the pieces to do so. also if you look at the back of the snowspeeder in the picture i provided from LDD you can see ive made a few modifications some would say for the better some would say for the worst but anyway i replaced the detailed gun with a 1/2 plate w/ stud shooter and put a hook on a c-clip for the actual grapple but thats not all i also replaced a plate with one with holes for axels and whatnot right under those grill pieces and thats where you thread the string through and apart from that thats pretty much all you have to do other than the stuff on the exterior and also if you could try and also post some pics with it having a few less tiles on the wings so it will fit in a bit better with official sets as that would only require removing a few parts and perhaps adding just a few. thank you for the help. oh and also you can see what the markings look like from the bottom on this website http://www.zteamproductions.com/sw-tcg.html once again *IF* you have the parts to do so please also show what each colour of markings look like on the bottom both in dark grey and the other colours.

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm not actually asking him to do it I was just talking about how it could be done in case he wants to like come back to it later and motorise it or something To a what? Are you being sarcastic or agreeing with me but at the same time making fun of me using all caps? You're being sarcastic right? To be fair it wasn't perfectly clear -

Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
But it's removing the weight? And I just meant wherever there IS space for them? I mean the panels would cover everything up I don't understand? Also how would it throw off the proportions and limit detail if it's only filling up hollow space? -

I meant it would HELP with the weight But couldn't you just design the mechanism and then just place them where there's still space? : / -

Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I JUST FOUND SOMETHING THAT WILL *DEFINITELY* HELP WITH REDUCING THE WEIGHT (I'm not joking it LITERALLY WILL LMAO) http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/243555 eventually you'll find a pic showing a LITERAL ANTI-GRAV DEVICE *AND* LITERALLY USING OFFICIAL LEGO PIECES (surprised I only now found this out -_- I've literally been a fan of this build since literally just months after they finished the 1.0 in 2010 -_-) -

How does water effect Lego bricks?
Tracytron replied to Tracytron's topic in General LEGO Discussion
"If LEGO is exposed to hard water it will eventually become dull and may even show carbonate deposits" so it'll essentially become Han Solo? :P I can't remember where I heard this but I heard that quite a few years ago they started using a different material for stickers so they're completely waterproof now I think (key words being "I THINK")- 8 replies

??????????? Frankly I don't really see a UCS dagobah being made I mean what would it include? An X-wing, yoda, Luke in both his dagobah outfit and his rebel pilot outfit, R2-D2, Darth Vader but with Luke's head and a new mould for the helmet being broken open, the small little camp Luke set up, yoda's hut, and the small cave where Luke actually encounters yoda..... it's just too small for it to really be a UCS set....

How does water effect Lego? (And maybe vice versa?) look I'm planing out a Lego custom city layout that I'll set up on some tables like Jangbricks (he's a YouTuber) has and while he just set up a table underneath that table and installed some LED's to make it look like it's underwater I want it to ACTUALLY *BE* underwater and who knows maybe I'll even throw in some of those robofish and robosharks or whatever they're called as like sea monsters or something LOL and have them just terrorise the minifigs whenever I please LOL but idk if the water would damage the Lego (which I bet it will :P) but just how bad will it damage it? I mean I know over time stickers will peal off of course but I could just paint them on with some waterproof paint or just have a load of extra sticker sheets or something and I don't really care about the colour fading just as long as it doesn't fade *too much* but how much would it fade and would it take actual damage like it becoming fragile, losing its clutch power (reference anyone? :P), or actually just completely snapping? Also are there any like chemicals that could help in preventing this? Thanks for the help.
