But biology is some pretty crazy ? so well yeah it may only not be harmful to certain species of fish so I'd do some research on their biology first
-
Multiple people have done it on YouTube so yeah but in my personal opinion this AT-TE (stock form) is better than the other but who knows once you mod it
-
Did you manage to retain any of the interior? Also could I just buy instructions instead? It's only a mod he took an existing set and motorised it

[WIP] MOC of the AT-ST Walker in LDD
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I downloaded an LFX file a few days back in here so it does -
Good lord if they gave us even the freaking starting line for the pod race back in the early 2000's then it's really just stupid that they haven't done that yet lol Lol too true
-
Eh. How did we even get into this conversation lol? Eh I'm probably just holding you up on the moc I'll shut up now. But anyway I get what you're trying to say scaling with a minifig is hard cause they're fat I know lol I just personally think it should be a little shorter not necessarily with the head at all but at least with the legs lol

I'm using the legs on yours and the head on his and his is a bit bigger so it might fall over. Also the reason I thought the older one is stiffer is because it's an ABSOLUTE PAIN to clip together and it's just so much more enclosed EDIT: oh and don't worry I gave him the link I meant I found my comment then looked at the replys to it and it wasn't there so I just replied back to him (again lol) with the link explaining what happen -

Could you make an LDD file for the legs and "torso" I suppose you'd call it? (For those who haven't seen one of my posts on his AT-AT I mentioned I was combining AT-ST mocs) for this specific version that is. This version is the best in my opinion. -

Hey which one is stiffer? http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-technic-brick-2-x-2-with-axle-hole-and-ball-joint-socket-undetermined-57910 the new one or the old one? I would imagine the old one right? I'm trying to merge your AT-ST with anothergol's AT-ST and the head on yours is smaller so.... yeah it might just topple over lol -
Lol it's hard but it IS possible hey it's not perfect but it's pretty damn close

I gave him the link a few days ago but it doesn't seem like he's very active on YT cause he hasn't come here yet Wtf I just went into the comment section of the vid and my reply isn't there wtf stupid YouTube glitches -
Wait but in that picture the wookieepedia is the same height as the minifigs and as we all know wookies are a good bit bigger than humans so that's still actually not all that close to accurate scale
-
Wait since when is the venator smaller than the standard model for the star destroyer? I thought it was based off the venator? Some even modified in to one? (I'm getting that from the end of episode 3) HOW DARE U SPEAK ? ABOUT THE REPUBLIC GUNSHIP :P And to a clone wars fan so is the V-19 torrent I have to agree with everyone here that they're gonna make something from the OT I mean it is the 40th anniversary but maybe this time around they'll give us that AT-AT and I think people seem to be misunderstanding me here; I don't actually find the AT-AT being motorised a necessity it's just something that would really just put the icing on the cake for me and literally make it almost twice as good in my personal opinion as it would just be incredible to see something PLASTIC, that can fall apart SO EASILY and THAT BIG walking it'd just feel purely epic
-
I guess yeah but I mean not PERFECT minifig scale I just mean like the head being around 14 studs wide at the very edge excluding the side mounted cannons and I can DEFINITELY agree with wanting something minifig scale and not just big but to me personally the most iconic ship in Star Wars for me is the republic LAAT gunship. Idk what it is about it's design but it's always just appealed to me to the point of it being the most iconic ship for me. but i do still have requirements for features on all my sets and I don't mind if it just makes JUST A TINY bit of the model a bit eh but just as long as it doesn't make it actually look bad then BABY LOAD UP THOSE SPRINGSHOOTERS :P but firing weapons definitely isn't one of my necessary features which include an interior and being able to do all the basic functions that the in universe thing can do and something that'd definitely be nice and some people would honestly EXPECT from a UCS MF is for an actual interior (including the cockpit but come on that's kinda the necessity) and an actual corridor from the cockpit to the ship and also for it to have RETRACTABLE landing gear and personally I don't really give a flying fudge how detailed they are just as long as they actually fold up but of course I do have my standards especially for a UCS set and hopefully they copy what the new TFA MF did with the missiles in the front and you pushing your finger through the maintenance access port to fire them I just really liked how they incorporated that and something great about the two most recent MF's is that they can be easily modded so the landing gear can actually fold up and also I personally think that it shouldn't actually be as big as the previous UCS one just because in my personal opinion anyway the MF is just too big and for it to hopefully not to be mr holes for glass like that one LOL although what's a "OT" set? Oh lol I just figured it out before I even finished typing that it's original trilogy duh Tracy :P Eh it doesn't bother me that much (especially since I found ) but I can definitely see why you're annoyed Super star destroyer? :P
-
There is if you move one of them back a little though lol oh no wait you said specifically "side by side" BRAINFARTS Y U DO DIS TO ME :P also something to keep in mind is that a minifig is actually only 3 studs wide. I've squeezed minifigs together with just one stud in between their legs MANY times
-
Oh you mean by mass? Uh I'm still pretty confused here so if somehow this helps you explain it; i count a minifig as tall as the 44:1 one (also while we're on the topic of minifigures you have to admit just adding an outward hinge at the shoulder would help A LOT with posing them and stuff LOL)
-
"a version scaled according to a minifigures height would be smaller and wouldnt have room for 2 seats" wait wa?
-
? on a stick i just finished that other one on LDD and its WAAAAAAY too small and while yours is still a bit too big for my tastes it definitely scales better than that other one LOL. now ive just got to completely redesign the legs and make a few little mods to the head so that there isnt so much greebling lol EDIT: i figured out that it was too big by importing the previous 2 AT-TE sets
-
And that's what I'm trying to fix LOL
-
First off THIS IS NOT AN *OFFICIAL* VOTING FORUM but anywho out of these 3 things what would you like next years Lego UCS model to be? 1: a motorised minifig scale MTT with a bay for a or multiple staps like the 2014 version and also space for some droideka's plus a super battle droid rack that you can swap out for the regular one plus a cockpit that can fit 2 pilot battle droids and with fully ball jointed guns at the front plus of course being on transparent wheels which are also motorised along side the actual droid rack and being released both in its trade federation colours and it's separatist colours (this is what I'd like) 2: a motorised minifig scale AT-AT with space for troops inside the main body, an actual tunnel in the neck back to the central body, and a folding down ladder and opening door on the side for minifigs to go down 3: a venator class republic cruiser with a small amount of space inside the bridge(s) for minifigs, folding down landing gear (yeah I know it'd be hard but I'm sure it's possible) and of course fully articulated turrets (including the 2 on the sides just in front of the middle of the ship)

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
Tracytron replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I found a YouTube video about Lego motors and he replied to my comment saying "Wow, really that tall? You will need a lot of bricks... I think the PF Large motor is the best PF option (I think one per leg would work), but you would need to gear it down quite a bit. For robots and walking stuff mindstorms is much better, as you have more precise control over the motors and you can program them very precisely. I wish you luck, it sounds like a really big project!" I know some basic Mindstorms stuff but we won't need to do that because I couldn't imagine it really doing all that much and besides I think the gears to link it to the EV3 along with the EV3 itself would be a lot heavier than just a ? load of gears LMAO (don't worry I replied back saying it's not my project so I'm not taking credit) here's the link in case you want to do the math yourself just to make sure :P -

You could use 1 motor per leg and if that official motorised AT-AT could do it without you needing to bend the knees so I don't see why this can't? Idk phisics is some crazy ? sometimes Hmmmm......... surely there's some third party Lego compatible motors that are strong enough aren't there? And idk about the plastic braking I think it'd be more likely for it to fall apart than anything and to test it and make sure the rest doesn't brake if it does fall over for there to be like foam padding to the sides of where it's walking -
I'm just saying it wouldn't fit in with official sets. But it doesn't really matter I just found another AT-ST moc that's a lot smaller
-
I mean it just doesn't look good compared to say an AT-TE walker EDIT: both with scaling AND the level of greebling :P
