I really hope that if the $250 set is Gringotts then the set just includes the bank and the dragon, and not any other shops, but I could see a Leaky Cauldron on the side, depending on the piece count. Also, I'm "Team Durmstrang Ship" for the $120 slot. I have no interest in such a set, but all evidence points to it happening sooner rather than later: -There are already three known castle-related sets this year, so an enormous Battle of Hogwarts wouldn't make that much sense. I think something like a $40 Courtyard Duel would be much more likely. -There is a Karkaroff-esque head on the Daily Prophet Photographer minifigure -There was a mini model of the ship in the Advent Calendar -it's the one few remaining sets that hasn't been remade, and it still commands a high price on eBay I'd actually much prefer a $120 Shrieking Shack, but that just isn't going to happen...

Has the US price of 75302 Imperial Shuttle been confirmed? I've seen conflicting information of $70 and $80. The former would obviously be preferable (and a lot more reasonable, IMO).

First of all, I'm glad I was finally able to backorder the new X-Wing. Second, I have mixed feelings about the UCS R2-D2 rumor/confirmation. I'm glad it is being rereleased so that people who missed out on the older model (myself included) can get a hold of it for a "reasonable" price. On a more personal note, I don't normally buy large-scale "sculpture" models, BUT my girlfriend is a huge fan of R2-D2, so it will make a lovely combined birthday gift/building project for the two of us!

I'm feeling pretty salty now--I had $40 of VIP points to use toward the new X-Wing, but of course the website didn't work at midnight. Feeling disgusted, I went to bed and woke up to it being backordered for almost a month. I scoffed and hesitated (like a fool) and what do you know? Out of stock. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if it didn't happen EVERY SINGLE RELEASE. I will wait for replenished stock and/or a sale from another retailer, but it still irks me to no end that I received a January 2021 catalogue in the mail today that even goes so far as to feature the Cantina, which hasn't been in stock since October.

The new X-Wing, TIE, and Imperial Shuttle give me hope that we’ll finally see a properly sized and proportioned Snowspeeder with a proper canopy. I’d pay $30 for that without thinking twice. Honestly, I know I’ve posted quite a bit about the new “affordable-scale,” but I would absolutely love it if they ushered in soft reboot of the license, at least as far as the classic ships are concerned. I can see why this could be controversial for some, though.

I really want to see the official reveal of the new “affordable-scale” X-Wing and TIE Hopefully Monday morning!

Do folks think 75303 will be the UCS Republic Gunship, or something new? Or, perhaps more concretely, is there any evidence that 75303 might be the Gunship?

Are the House textbook/classroom sets supposed to be released in January? Forgive my ignorance, but some of the Star Wars stuff apparently has a February release date, so I was confused. Thanks!

I'm a fan of the new "affordable-scale" models, especially the X-Wing. That will be a day-one buy for me. I still maintain that the 2013 UCS X-Wing was a massive disappointment, and since I unfortunately no longer have my 2018 version (long story...) this new one is a no-brainer. I just hope it's available January 1 in this country.

I'm officially taking a break from this theme. My wallet can't withstand firepower of this magnitude!

Sorry, is it all right if I ask one more generic LEGO Harry Potter question here? I can't find a more relevant thread. Is this minifigure's mask supposed to represent a specific Death Eater? I'm terrible at this sort of interpretation. My guess is Lucius or Bellatrix, as they are the only prominent Death Eaters in the Order of the Phoenix movie, but who knows? Thanks!

It looks like just the "textbook/classroom" sets coming out in January, nothing that we know of until then. I'm recruiting my fellow AFOLs and Potterheads to help me solve this mystery: Is this Ginny Weasley minifigure from 2010 based on a specific movie appearance? The closest match I could find is her Ministry Battle costume, but it looks like there are some deliberate differences. EDIT: Sorry for the extremely random question...

I bet we will get a Monster Book of Monsters as a retail exclusive. Includes Hagrid, Fang, and Hermione. Just wait...for me to make an incorrect prediction again (much like Trelawney, lol).

This is probably a stupid question, but is anyone else concerned that we might not get another Hogwarts expansion next year? I’m really hoping for the Bell Towers, Viaduct, Entrance Courtyard, Boathouse, Grand Staircase, and Chamber of Secrets before this line ends. Nope, but it’s close. You should get it very soon.
