It's supposed to be Quidditch
-
At this point I'd be happy to know for sure that the D2C is a collection of buildable trinkets, because my money is going to be stretched pretty thin this year as it its
-
I have to agree, actually! Just because some of the sets are of no interest to me doesn't mean the whole wave is a loss.
-
I highly doubt we'll see the D2C. Probably the next ones we can hope for are a better picture of Fluffy and whatever minifigure(s) come with Fawkes.
-
A better picture of Polyjuice and Fluffy is part of that leak!!
-
I knew it!!
-
I think we can safely assume that they'll reveal everything that's been leaked thus far. So the Quidditch set with Madam Hooch is still up in the air, and maybe something else, I can't remember. But I fully believe we'll see the Quidditch set within the hour and the set reveals by next week
-
Yes, but which Dumbledore? Since he is all but guaranteed to be exclusive.
-
This will be a day long remembered... Too bad the Dumbledore figure that (presumably) comes with Fawkes was cropped out of the picture though.
-
But the pawns look so cute! I will probably just Bricklink the trio from this one
-
AND...chess just leaked!!

I'm still crossing my fingers that the US will get something besides the minifigure pack in June. Last year we had to wait until September, and the years before were a bit of a debacle as well, with an August release date that sort of morphed into July in some places. Don't get me wrong, COVID definitely warranted a delay in LEGO products last year, but I really hope the whole world gets the sets at the same time this time. I know I keep adding to the stereotype of entitled Americans, but PLEASE, I don't want to wait until the end of the summer again
-
Thanks for sharing this! While I'm sure the leak is legit, I would still take it with a grain of salt, since LEGO changes their set retirement dates all the time (particularly extending them if sales are good). Of course, I'm stating the obvious, but it is something that I sometimes have to remind myself of. Good news is that I probably have well over a year to save for Diagon Alley!
-
Yes, I'm sorry, that was the one. :( I'm afraid I can't keep up with the leaks anymore lol
-
A new Ron minifigure has leaked (not as exciting a D2C, I know)
-
EDIT: Never mind
-
Truer words have rarely been spoken Welcome to Eurobricks, by the way! Thanks! :)

The new McGonagall figure is gorgeous. The new Tom Riddle...well, let's just say I'm glad I have the book version. Finally, the big question: Are any of these sets actually coming out in June? I would bet that we in the United States won't get anything except the minifigure pack until August, but I'd love to be wrong. There was so much angst last year when we had to wait until September...due to how badly our country handled the pandemic, but that's another matter.

If the buildable Remembrall rumors are real, I imagine it will be like a snowglobe with a buildable Flying Lesson vignette in the middle. That would actually be kind of cool, IMO, getting nostalgic adults to "remember" their experiences of the first movie. Minifigures could (and should) include Hooch, Harry, Draco, and Neville. Hogsmeade is by far my most wanted set of 2021...and so far the only HP offering that piques my interest. I have VIP points standing by for a day-one purchase. A wand and a feather? I love these cryptic hints. Please keep it up!

I think you might actually be right. UCS Motorized Hogwarts Express with Hogsmeade Station would make a ton of sense, even if I don't like it.
-
Oh, I definitely prefer the books as well, I just have an absurd obsession with the Prisoner of Azkaban movie . And by the way, Madam Pomfrey is definitely my most wanted minifigure at the moment. My hospital wing looks very empty without her. Good news is, she was actually at the Battle of Hogwarts, so we could potentially see her thrown into another set this wave, or most definitely in another CMF. EDIT: Wow, I majored in English and I used the word "definitely" three times in one post.
-
Yes, I would And I know Dean was there, I just meant that his only memorable Hogsmeade scene in the movies is snogging Ginny in The Three Broomsticks (and maybe Dumbledore's Army as well, I forget if he was in that scene). I know Goyle wasn't in that scene, but I'd rather have a Prisoner of Azkaban Goyle figure than the other kid (didn't know his name was Pike, though, thank you!). Anyway, sorry for complaining so much about the minifigures. I may warm up to them once I see pictures.

Fair point about shopkeepers. I would still prefer unique variants of main characters, but I fully understand why many feel otherwise. We can agree to disagree. Thank you for clarifying @Guyon2002! I just found the Promobricks date right before you posted this, and I edited my post to hide my stupidity, but not quickly enough, it would seem It is worth noting that all the previous waves have been slated as August releases in the United States, so it will be interested to see whether we on this side of the pond actually get the Anniversary sets early.

I agree that a smaller Hogsmeade is a real blessing, at least for people like me, who have neither the space nor the money for a $250-400 set like Diagon Alley. I disagree that the minifigures are superb, however. McGonagall is fine and appropriate, Harry is more or less inevitable, Rosmerta is more than welcome. Dean is okay, I guess, but it seems like they're mixing movies again, since he was only featured prominently in Hogsmeade in Half-Blood Prince. The Flumes are a joke to me, I couldn't care less about characters that aren't named in the books (same goes for "Garrick" Ollivander and "Lucian" Bole). The golden figures are a cute novelty, but, let's face it, completely useless. I would have much preferred Hagrid, Ron, Hermione, Fudge, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, or even a Dementor. But that's just me nitpicking. The figures are almost an afterthought for me. "Only" $80 for two Hogsmeade buildings is a great LEGO opportunity in my book. I'm going to ask again, since it may have gotten buried a couple pages back: How do we know these sets are being released in June? I can read German, and I didn't see Juni anywhere in the Promobricks article (unless I just completely missed something, which is perfectly possible!). Thanks! EDIT: Never mind, it would help if I watched the video

Wait, are the Anniversary sets launching in June? I assumed they were all August (at least in the United States), but I would gladly be wrong, if anyone could please clarify.
