As long as Gringotts isn’t part of a D2C, I don’t mind too much. These days, I believe $170 US is the cut-off price before it has to be a D2C. That would be more than enough for a quality Gringotts, even taking into account the dragon.

Same, actually. I’m very fortunate enough to be in a situation where I can afford Diagon Alley this year, but there’s no guarantee my financial situation will hold. Even if it does, I’m not planning on paying $800 total for a complete Alley, not to mention an inevitable Hogsmeade on top of that.

Here’s (still) hoping for a VIP early release this weekend. It’s surreal to think that we may finally see this thing in just a few hours!

We could still easily get a press release tomorrow and a VIP Early Access this weekend, but at this point I’ll believe it when I see it. Wonder if Diagon Alley and/or the CMF are going to be delayed in the US? I don’t even want to think about it, but my country is Megabloked up. Mexico will have to shut down the factories again, before long.

I wonder whether a pre-order for Diagon Alley will go live as soon as the set is revealed. If so, we're all in trouble.

I’m REALLY hoping for a reveal this week so that we can get VIP early access, but at this point I would settle for a photo leak, or even a reliable answer to the question: Will Gringotts and/or Borgin and Burke’s be included?

I ordered minifigure parts from Ginny Weasley (75980) and Lavender Brown (75969) three weeks ago, but they are still showing "in warehouse." Is that normal, given the current situation? Or should I be worried that they will cancel my order because I managed to get some licensed minifigure parts that slipped through the cracks?

Hi, nice to meet you too! Supposedly all the sets, Diagon Alley, and the CMF 2 will be available across North America beginning September 1. I was impatient and didn't want to take any chances, so I decided to order from The Minifigure Store. They're the only ones I've seen selling the figures so far, but I'm sure there will be more options soon. Two years ago, I ordered the entire series 1 for a decent price from a random, reputable eBay seller. Welcome to Eurobricks! I like your username, since Lupin is my favorite character! I ordered the minifigures from The Minifigure Store UK. Not too much of a markup from the US prices, and now I can just wait for a complete set to arrive in the mail. The only downside is that now I might have difficulty paying for Diagon Alley if it has an "expansion pack," but oh well...I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Well, I think that's gonna be what happens, whether Kingno-not-be-named was right or just had a lucky guess. Every single one of my predictions has been wrong so far, so I have nothing to lose by making another one.

I agree with you 100%. If Borgin and Burke’s isn’t included, oh well. But if Gringotts is omitted, I’ll probably have to do some serious thinking before I drop $400. However, no sense in worrying until an official reveal.

Same. If I'm dropping $400 on Diagon Alley, I'd prefer it to be fairly definitive. Heck, I'd rather have a top-notch $500 Diagon Alley set with Gringotts and the dragon than "tune in next year for the expansion pack"!

True, but I expect 5000+ pieces and 20+ minifigures, so I'm pretty forgiving of stickers.

It peeved me to no end that his sideburns didn't connect to his hair line, and I hope they correct that, but it seems unlikely; I suspect it will be a duplicate.
