Yes it's the Star Wars hood. I wish they would put them on PaB. I've seen a full image and I don't believe I saw a pouch on the torso.

Yeah but most parents nowadays are getting away from things like lego for their kids. Alot of stuff is more catered to phone, Ipads, tablets etc. I would loved to see this stuff as a kid. I just don't think this is going to sell as well as they think especially with kids these day.

I grew up watching dirt track racing. I have some friends that are into that and not really F1. A lot of people have stopped watching NASCAR here. Racing in general isn't as popular as it once was in the US. The peak was 70's-80's-90's and early 2000's and has really fallen off the last 5 years or so. Also kids do know the difference because F1 and Indy cars look totally different than most racing cars.

I don't know about Germany but kids here in the USA aren't really interested in F1. Very few are here in the states. Yeah that doesn't track with the DnD CMF everyone I've seen buying is an adult. While Horizon is popular it's nowhere's near as popular as Fortnite, COD, Mario, GTA, Battlefront, Zelda, etc. Fortnite has to be before horizon if Lego has any kind of brain.

You could always use it as a lesser dragon or a young dragon. Ninjago does have some impressive dragons. The new red source dragon from Ninjago is a really nice set and the dragon is huge.

Ok like I said though it's not really that serious. Would you not like the old dragon mold back yes or no? I think that's what the OP was asking and I think it would be great to have it back. Whether that happens or not who cares. It may never happen but that old dragon mold was great and would be nice to get again someday. I mean look at Disney's recent fiscal decisions they literally are burning money with what they have done to Star Wars, Marvel and their own IP.

You seem to be quite upset about it. I'm well aware that it's more than one mold. It's just a fun discussion. I think your taking this way to seriously. Yeah lego has that money. Lego is a Multibillion dollar company. I know the old ones are gone I have one of the original green dragons from when I was a kid.

With HTTYD sets and that farm set coming next year this is a high probability. There is a dog just like that with bluish printing from some set I don't remember. As @williejmhas mention I thought it might be the same one. The dumpling does look good.

They can make a new mold they've done it before they just brought back the goat.

Yeah but that's the beauty of lego you can make it whatever you want to it doesn't have to just used for HTTYD. The Maleficent Dragon is specific to the movie but looks great on it's own. Also I use several Ninjago dragons for my fantasy/castle world Lego may not say that because they want to sound inclusive but that doesn't mean certain themes aren't aimed at girls or boys. Friends is definitely aimed at girls. Ninjago is definitely aimed more towards boys, speed racers more toward boys. Disney princess is aimed at girls. We could go on and on.

The source dragon is a great build. The dragon is huge and actually dwarfs builds like the viking village and is even bigger than the LKC. It also has some nice articulation for posing. I agree they will probably have molded heads and possibly molded tails with the rest being brick built. Lego has brought back themes and not done past movies and focused on the current movie and have also done the opposite with Indiana jones so we will have to wait and see what Lego does. I just think it will be based off the new show with the possibility of doing the old animated show and movies later down the line.

This is most likely what this will be because it sounds like the release of the sets may be around the same time of the movie. It may be awhile before we see sets based off the animated movies as it seems playmobile has sets based off those right now.

Still should have some good parts and dragons would be good too. I also hope it's not minidolls but the Elves theme had some good sets.

That's a stretch saying GOT is why Lego didn't do anymore castle. If that was the case then why not stay away from LOTR. That makes no sense at all And by that logic there are some really dark Star wars, Marvel and DC stories and they still continue to make sets from those themes. Not to mention several very dark and disturbing things about Ninja and yet Ninjago is still here. I do agree with @clonecommando99 that a castle theme with inner struggles over resources would be interesting and could be done well with the right people at the helm.

Just saying it can easily be done.

Lego had guns in the Pirates of the Caribbean sets so I don't see how that would go against their anti-gun stance if they did Yosemite Sam. They have themes with guns eve the Marvel and DC themes that do represent modernity so why not give Sam his 6 shooter.

I get what you are saying and saw you said the same thing on Reddit. I would like to have sets that are under $100 for castle and pirate. What I'm saying is what we have gotten has been great and I can't complain about the sets we do have. I really do think we will be getting smaller sets at some point soon. Also you can literally go on PAB and get what you want for the most part except for some licensed stuff which you can find on Bricklink and that way you can make what you want. I didn't have PaB when I was younger it's really nice to get the pieces you need to make your MOC's

I think your taking it to hard here. It's a nice set but I would much rather have the LKC than this any and every day. I would also take the 3in1 castle and MTS over this. They have given us some great castle set over the last few years and even the vikings stuff has been great. LOTR has also been excellent. Not to say this isn't a neat little set but I don't see it as a F-u at all. I think they will start bringing smaller castle sets into the mix soon especially with the popularity of castle Lego sets and the BDP sets have shown.

I agree and it's always nice to get owls in regular sets. The set does have some nice pieces and the BF fig does look interesting would be nice to see clearer images then we can tell what the head looks like.

Yeah from those images the figure looks great and I like that it's a different torso and has printed legs and has a shield. The cape looks great too. Head print looks good. It will be nice to see hi-res images to see all the details.

Yeah not to mention stormtroopers and several Star Wars characters, also Nexo Knights and Ninjago have guns. Pirates etc.

I like the color palette here, the dark brown and lime green look good together. Is that a spring bubbling out where the trans-clear wedges come out at the top? Nice design on the buildings too, the texturing looks nice.

Lloyd's Green Forest Dragon looks great. I really like the wings and head. Ninjago and Monkie kid is giving us some great parts to customize with.

Yes I totally agree about that shoulder armor for orc, or goblins. It will be interesting to see what I can come up with using those pieces.
