I don't know what you think I said but I was talking about using the villains from themes like NInjago, Monkey kid, Nexo Knights, and other themes to customize my figs and make different things in my fantasy world. Furthermore I was saying I would like to see some new factions or other beings like lizard men in a new theme instead of rehashing old factions like they have done with BF, Lion knights, Wolfpack, fright knights, and the trolls.

While I do like the Fantasy Era and have several of the sets from that theme. I would prefer something new and fresh instead of just updating old themes and factions. I think lego should do their own theme with Men, Elves, and Dwarves against some Goblins, Ghouls, and Maybe some undead charaters like the white walkers from Game of Thrones. Demons would be great to get. It would be nice to get some lizard people or cat like people like the Khajit from Elder Scrolls. There is so much they could do that hasn't been done in lego form. I did like a lot of the Chima characters and used them in my fantasy world. Nexo Knights had some great villains that could be used for fantasy, Ninjago also has some great villains that I use and customize for my world. Ninjago has a frog guy in the Dragons rising show and I'm hoping Lego does make him in a set so I can build an army of frog people. There are even some great figs in Monkey kid that can be customized. With how well Castle has been selling especially in the BDP and the popularity of the DnD Cmf I hope lego can see that Fantasy/Castle is a viable option and they can have a creative team come up with something interesting.

I agree it's nice to have the updated BF, LIon knights, Forestmen, and Wolpack but I would love some new factions like they had done with that set with the figures as prizes that is supposed to release sometime next year. It would be nice if Lego does do a new castle theme if they would do a poll like they did with aforementioned set with the space and knights. They could give us some options for good factions with heraldry like Owls, Fox, fish, horse, swallow, kingfisher, etc and give us some interesting antagonists like Goblins, Demons, gargoyles, werewolves, Ghouls, or something completely new. Have us vote on it and make a great theme with a couple of good factions and a couple of evil factions and make a good story with the sets.

I enjoyed the show for what it was. Austin Butler was good. Manu Bennett was also in it and gave a solid performance. It only had 2 seasons then was cancelled. There were some good scenes but MTV's budget for the show really hurt some of the CGI and other settings. All in all it wasn't the worst thing I've watched but wasn't the best either it was average for me anyway. I've watched several podcasts, interviews and things with Brandon Sanderson. He has his own channel on youtube. He has stated that he understands that certain things have to be changed to adapt Mistborn and knows that they will have to change somethings but still wants the adaptation to be as close as possible to the books. He also just released a table top game that sold out I believe.

He said he is working on a Mistborn project and wants to do Mistborn first before he tries to get Stormlight done. I do agree it will depend heavily on performances and casting. I have confidence in Sanderson and if this Mistborn thing pans out I will be excited to see how it looks and how they adapt it. Sanderson did say he was learning more about the TV/movie side of things. Reacher from Amazon seems to be doing quite well for them. HOTD fell off in the second season and HBO really does do a great job with their shows in general. I wish George would just finish the books instead of doing so many other projects. As far as Prime is concerned people do know about their media content. Many people had firesticks and watched stuff on Prime. That might be a UK thing with prime but here in the US people watch prime on their phones, computers, tablets, etc. I think alot of people nowadays are just looking for instant gratification. That's why things like Youtube and Tiktok are so popular. But I hope there are more good fantasy shows, movies, etc coming out it is interesting to see these worlds come to the big screen especially after reading about these worlds and seeing LOTR, WOT, the Witcher, GOT and others on the big screen has been fun and interesting. Although some of the shows have been better than others. I hope to see more fantasy shows and franchise's like Malazan, First law, The Kingkiller Chronicles, Any Robin Hobb books, or the Green Bone Saga by Fonda lee which I've heard is possibly getting an adaptation. Did you happen to watch the Shanarra Chronicles that came out on MTV years ago starring Austin Butler? If so what were your thoughts?

That's a great deal. I'm always looking at Walmart and Target for clearance deals. Back when the LOTR sets were out Helms deep was $50 and I picked up 2. It is a good way to get sets cheap especially now with how expensive Lego is getting.

I get it there are some people who like the shows and some who don't. There are 200 million people subscribed to amazon prime and 260 million to netflix. It is interesting that both shows have lost viewership from their 1st season to the 2nd season. I just hope that Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn is done properly and hoping he is very involved in the process. I was hoping for the Magic the Gathering show but that got cancelled. As for DnD I did enjoy the legend of Vox Machina show so far and the Movie from last year Honor amongst Thieves was a fun movie. I'm hoping that Lego continues with the DnD license and makes more sets and more CMF's that would be great. I also hope Lego does more LOTR sets and especially smaller sets.

I saw that the Owlery set from HP at Walmart was discounted so I picked one up for the Owls in the set. I have one red panda and also hope the set goes on sale some point.

I love the WOT books and Tolkien's works but the WOT show is not good at all the second season is worse. There were some good moments in the 1st season of WOT but they have butchered the magic system and completely changed some of the main characters story arc's. I really wanted to like the WOT show but it has really messed up Jordan's vision and the same with the Rings of Power. I have seen no merchandise for either show really it's unfortunate that the shows are really bad because this could have been the golden age for fantasy with the WOT, ROP, the Witcher, Willow, and other shows but most of them have been a disappointment. There are some nice visuals in the ROP and it could have had some nice sets. The practical effects on the orcs look good. The WOT would have been awesome to get sets from but it doesn't look like Amazon wants to do merchandising for the ROP or WOT. Like I said above the show are not good at all, I wish they were good and then it could have possibly opened up some avenues to getting merchandise but both of those shows numbers are bad especially with the ROP being a Billion dollar show at this point it doesn't look good going forward.

Nice I still might want to get it I'm debating on whether to get it or not. Trying to pick up extra side jobs to get some more cash.

Yeah it's an interesting tool if you're looking for a specific theme or specific parts for a MOC or something like that.

When you click on SHOP then click on bricks and pieces then click on Bricks and Pieces Hub at the very top, next scroll down to where there is a fig in a yellow background it has city life, then Medieval is the second one click on that.

You could always use Aragog for the spiders in Mirkwood from the hobbit also.

When you go to PAB there is a medieval icon you can click to show parts associated with castle

Ok. While your on Bricklink look for the Rohan shields from the old LOTR sets they make for nice viking shields too.

Yeah that's straight from the games that will be locked up Nintendo don't mess around with things like that. There are the viking shields from the viking village set on PAB do you have those? Those shields are very nice.

Nice find. The axe piece is great. I don't like the orange on the brown head it looks off to me but the figure is really nice. The eyeball staff is a Githyanki and the one with the dragon is a Tiefling.
