Doesn't change the fact that it's called a wolf pup for the Aarokocra.

No problem. It's a lot of dwarves to keep track of. I still need to get that set eventually. Probably sometime next year. Gotta make it through the holidays. Then can start saving up for sets for next year too.

I don't think that was Bombur in Rivendell isn't it supposed to be Gloin. Gimli's father Gloin was there Bombur was not. If Rivendell was based off the Hobbit then all the dwarves could have been in the set.

That's good news as I don't have Rivendell or Barad-Dur yet.

yeah that dragon in Black and Dark red would be great too. I would love a dragon in dark grey and dark blue also. -

That doesn't mean anything the creator set could have been in the works for awhile and they might not have released it till now. I'm just saying it's a possibility. Yeah lego does love doing red dragons but Ninjago has been doing dragons for a long time. Also maybe they had this creator dragon color scheme in mind for some time as it is like the old molded dragon and changing the DnD dragon which is also an homage to the original dragon would make more sense for lego. True as to DnD lore and the dragon from the original set was an homage to the lego dragon and not necessarily to do with DnD. Lego does love their red dragons though. Do you have the new Ninjago source dragon it's massive and my favorite lego dragon so far and just looks menacing and fits right in with fantasy settings or DnD. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
zoth33 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Plenty of adults have full on city displays and use city alot for their builds. Also Minecraft has been around since 2011 and plenty of teenagers and young adults are into Minecraft. I know so sells well but that's because the adults are buying the toys for their kids yes kids still like lego but now there are so many more options than when I was a kid that kids have so many things to choose from. There are a lot of people on this site that have big city displays. I know kids still like lego but it's not like it used to be. -

Of course they wouldn't mention that they are having a dragon coming in creator 3in1 that looks like the dragon that was on the DnD original set that would be them leaking on themselves. -

It's not quite a year later but they may not have wanted the DnD dragon green and red knowing they have a creator dragon coming in that color scheme. -

Should Lego bring back the green dragon in its original form?

Yes I think it looks pretty good and actually look forward to getting this. I wonder if BrickMonarch will go over this set next week on their YT show. Yeah and the alternate builds look really solid too. -

The new creator dragon does look pretty good in my opinion. The lower jaw does look a bit off but can easily be modified. I wasn't expecting figs in that one as figs usually only come in certain 3in1 sets like the castle or the viking ship. There are 2 sheep and a lamb in the new city tractor set. Bring on the sheep I would like to get more and it's only a 19.99 dollar set. This creator dragon set also probably answers the question as to why Lego changed the color of the dragon from the DnD set. -

There is a dark blue one in a Ninjago set but it hasn't wound up on PAB yet. Hopefully they make black, brown, and dark blue available on PAB. -
This such a great idea. The vibrant colors and plants really draw you in. The different plants and insects are so detailed. The old boot design is wonderful. This whole build just seems alive great job.

Yes it's the Star Wars hood. I wish they would put them on PaB. I've seen a full image and I don't believe I saw a pouch on the torso. -
What a nice story. It's wonderful to hear happy things like this. Hope you and your family have great times during the holidays this year.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
zoth33 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah but most parents nowadays are getting away from things like lego for their kids. Alot of stuff is more catered to phone, Ipads, tablets etc. I would loved to see this stuff as a kid. I just don't think this is going to sell as well as they think especially with kids these day. -

I grew up watching dirt track racing. I have some friends that are into that and not really F1. A lot of people have stopped watching NASCAR here. Racing in general isn't as popular as it once was in the US. The peak was 70's-80's-90's and early 2000's and has really fallen off the last 5 years or so. Also kids do know the difference because F1 and Indy cars look totally different than most racing cars. -

I don't know about Germany but kids here in the USA aren't really interested in F1. Very few are here in the states. Yeah that doesn't track with the DnD CMF everyone I've seen buying is an adult. While Horizon is popular it's nowhere's near as popular as Fortnite, COD, Mario, GTA, Battlefront, Zelda, etc. Fortnite has to be before horizon if Lego has any kind of brain. -
Should Lego bring back the green dragon in its original form?
zoth33 replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
You could always use it as a lesser dragon or a young dragon. Ninjago does have some impressive dragons. The new red source dragon from Ninjago is a really nice set and the dragon is huge. -

Ok like I said though it's not really that serious. Would you not like the old dragon mold back yes or no? I think that's what the OP was asking and I think it would be great to have it back. Whether that happens or not who cares. It may never happen but that old dragon mold was great and would be nice to get again someday. I mean look at Disney's recent fiscal decisions they literally are burning money with what they have done to Star Wars, Marvel and their own IP.
