  1. That's very kind. Thank you. I'll PM you a pic or two.
  2. Beautiful. Could this be what the official set should have been all along...
  3. Really cute and full of character. Great work.
  4. What a wonderfully romantic build. Gilly and I have been married 25yrs in August and, with your permission, I'd love to build this to have as a centre piece on our table at the celebration party.
  5. Very cool. Very interesting. Pleased you used Storm Troopers rather than hamsters
  6. Oh Boy. What a beautiful build. And that from a man who dislikes pink with a passion.
  7. Thank you. It took a while for me to get the jist of the Brickheadz look and whilst I'm still not entirely sure they completely adhere to the Brickheadz aesthetic I'm happy with them. I just hope they do both PAW Patrol and the Brickheadz theme justice.
  8. WOW! That things huge!
  9. This wouldn't be out of place in an art gallery. It's a beautiful build. I've long been an admirer of your work and have alway looked on, envying your building skills. Oh well, I'll just keep chugging along hoping (albeit forlornly) that one day I might be this good.
  10. Nice build Bart. Thank you for posting the instructions.
  11. Hi I've recently built some of the characters from the hugely popular childrens television programme PAW Patrol. In case you're not familiar with PAW Patrol, each of the puppies has a PupPack in which they carry various gadgets unique to that character which they use on there many adventures. I've tried to incorporate these, or at least my interpretation of them, into the build of each character. The inspiration to build these came from our beautiful 4yr old Grandaughter Penelope who, when asked what she'd like me to build for her, said Skye, her favourite PAW Patrol team member. As the build came out pretty well, Penelope loved it, so I thought I'd build (stud.io) the rest of the team. Shortly after thought I'd have a go at building them Brickheadz style and it's these I'd like to show you. The characters are: Ryder Chase Marshall Rocky Rubble Skye Tracker. Zuma Everest. I'd appreciate your comments and constructive criticsm.
  12. I've just heard the sad news that Brian Cant, the voice of Camberwick Green and of a generation, passed away today. Thsnk you Brian for being a specisl part of my chidhood. You'll live on in the hearts of adults and children for generations to come. May you rest in peace my friend.
  13. Yes, I agree with you, you've got everything right. If you don't mind I may well borrow a few of your ideas for my 'bug. Great work
  14. I love these guys and would like to see their return but understand the reasons why that's unlikly to happen. I've got the complete collection several times over but none of them are the really rare ones seen on these pages. Those I have all have their personal accessories but only a few have the vehicles etc that came with some of them. I have the 8714 and 8300 sets which are still sealed in as new boxes.
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks. What a way to introduce yourself. Very impressive indeed.
  16. Terrific build, instantly recognisable. Great work
  17. I so love this. When I was a child Camberwick Green was one of my favourite TV programmes. I very much look forward to seeing Colley's Mill and Crockett's garage. Thank you very much for the trip down memory lane.
  18. A recent project needed rollover hoops. Ideally I'd have used pneumatic hoses but as they needed to be chome I couldn't so I had my Uncle make me a pair of steel ones which I had chromed.
  19. Terrific build with a surprising level of functionality for it's diminutive size.
  20. I leave teeth marks in most everything I build . Keep it to yourself though.
  21. Thank you Jeroen, it's good to be back after so long away. There's so much to catch up on. As for new builds. Yes, I will be starting on one soon and yes, if my ramblings can be put up with, I'll document it. Although I've been away I've been building when able. I've finally completed a long standing build for a relative and recently finished the Caterham along with a few Stud.io builds.
  22. Just looking at your progess so far I already know this is going to be my favourie of all your brilliant builds.
