  1. I absolutely love the Mill alternate build! It reminds me of the old Medieval village set, I might have to get this just for a chance to get a historical building if it goes on sale. Also getting the chance to build one set three times is always a fun opportunity (I've always overlooked Creator before)
  2. Do you mean the moulded Great White shark? Because pictures have just come out of that shark in set 60266, the biggest ship of the new diving subtheme for city Also the Creator pirate set actually really interests me! The ship looks cool but what I really like is the alternate builds of the skull island and what looks like a mill, those look amazing! Do we have any idea how much this set is going to cost?
  3. The last Burrow set had two side-builds, a separate floo network feature with green flame and the marsh they fight in during HBP. As this new set is supposed to be bigger I expect the floo network chimney will be integrated into the actual house but I still think there will be some sort of marsh side-build.
  4. Ah thanks for clearing that up, somehow I thought there was only one picture of his parents but you're right. Interesting that there's elements from Prisoner of Azkaban as well as the first two films, I'm not expecting the Conservatory to be included tho as I imagine the build is going to be quite shallow and centred on the front with an open back. Honestly everything I see and hear about Privet Drive makes me more and more intrigued by it; it's not normally the sort of set I would be interested in but it's such an iconic location and Lego building techniques are so good that it's a set I'm expecting to really like. Plus there's so many different ways to display it, I'm already imagining all the magical mayhem from the books and films I can unleash upon those poor Dursley minifigures and their spotless house
  5. I think the fireplace was described in the first descriptions of the set we got so that seems likely!
  6. It's a shame the Dursley family sticker sheet is so simplistic, there's really not a lot of details to get out of there compared to the Sirius wanted poster or Daily Prophet print. Also I like the picture of Harry's parents tho judging by the size it'll be a framed picture and not in the photo album like it was in the first two films (was it in a frame in Prisoner of Azkaban?). The stickers for the front door are really fun, Privet Drive is not going to look as picturesque with the board across the door and presumably barred windows on Harry's room! This is the set build I'm most interested by seeing as how there's only a few MOCs out there and it's been so long getting a a set from it.
  7. That's a fun little set and very versatile! It's nice of Lego to keep the youngest Harry available but I just remembered he'll be in the Privet Drive set as well. At least the short black legs are always useful, I've used loads of to create lots of other young students like Ginny, Colin Creevey. It's weird how there's no letter with the owl tho, Lego really need to find a piece that means you can attach the printed lego plates to an owl. Edit: do the cakes remind anyone else of the cakes Ron and Harry use to drug Crabbe and Goyle in the second film? I've had those potential figures on my mind a lot so it was the first thing I thought of . There's probably no connection at all.
  8. For Friends I think its a stylistic decision to fit bows and other accessories in. For minifigures I think its when hairpieces need a certain level of intricacy that could otherwise couldn't be captured by plastic moulding, or when the piece needs a certain level of flexibility to fit around a minifigure head. An example of this is in the last Disney cmf series, where the Elsa and Anna figures both had braids which need to wrap around their heads and over their torso, where rubber is preferable as it has the flexibility to do that.
  9. Minidolls and minifigures can both use the same hairpieces, its why you see some Friends figures with normal lego hats and the reverse here. A friends rubber hairpiece was also used for Qi'ra for the Lego star wars wave.
  10. Wow both those figures really don't stand out at all, which is a shame considering how many vibrant figures we've got with this line. I also really dislike the surfer hair for HBP Ron, it was used in the 2010 line and I feel like it really doesn't suit his bowl-cut hair at all. It's weird but his old hair from the og line would actually probably look more accurat (the same piece as was used for Marcus Flint). It's a good job Ron's confirmed for the Burrow, if this was his only inclusion in the wave it would be really funny. Unless it's the same variant included there... Also a much more expressive face is needed for Lavender. I made a custom one recently with Fleur's face and I feel like that works much better than this. I've been on the fence about the Astronomy Tower ever since hearing that it was Slug Club themed and based on what I've seen so far none of the figure are 'must haves'. Slughorn's neat if you missed the Bricktober pack and a lot of effort went into Luna's figure but so far unless the build is great it might be the most underwhelming playset to me.
  11. There's a picture of the hare from the side and a really HD picture of the Centaur, it's a shame that all minifigure leaks can have that quality. Also as there's only been one variant of the centaur shown I sorta feel like they'll both have the same face and torso printing (they do all look pretty similar in the film)
  12. I remember there was a fake list from season 1 which included lily and James. Lily would definitely have to include a baby Harry piece as well but I guess that would be more of a season 3 CMF as there’s no solid evidence for either of them being included this year.
  13. I think you really need to move on from the Ministry set, there’s just no proof at the moment. The only thing Kingnono has said that could allude to it is two words ‘he’s back’ which could mean anything as it was used in both Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. Also I don’t remember any hints about James Potter or Sirius Black? The problem is the evidence that kingnono said these were coming was very vague hints, some of which have probably been misinterpreted. There already seems to be a disparity with the figures he said would come in the Burrow. Although some of these figures are coming, some probably aren’t as well and it’s definitely not certain at this point. Thank you for compiling this list tho, it is interesting to see
  14. I don’t think Ollivanders could be called obscure, I’d say it’s almost certain it will be included. Flourish and Bolts definitely is obscure tho, alongside Quality Quidditch Supplies, Madame Malkin’s and Eeylop’s Owl Emporium.
  15. Yeah there's not many places for interesting and unique builds aha (or I'm just not very imaginative )
  16. The beard for the statue was the same as Dumbledore's, just recoloured so it was gold. I guess they've got the budget for that and new prints like the christmas jumpers for Harry and Ron but not for new moulds because the set is only out for a few months. Good point, some of the character will probably just be reprints.
  17. If the Advent Calendar is based on OotP and only contains six figures it'll be interesting to see which are included. The trio are guaranteed and Sirius would have to be if its set in Grimmauld Place so that leaves only two minifigures. Looking at the scene from the film there's a choice between Mr and Mrs Weasley, the twins, or Ginny. I could easily see any exclusive Weasleys from the Burrow being included as a cheap alternative for getting them. In terms of builds I could see the long table in the kitchen, the Christmas tree, a pile of presents, another fireplace with a wreath and maybe an archway with mistletoe to stand-in for the Room of Requirement scene where Harry kisses Cho.
  18. Luna looks...interesting. The torso printing is really nice but the legs just look odd, and the printing really abruptly cut off because of the dual-moulding. It's great to see Lego putting so much effort into their figures tho: three figures with dual-moulding in one wave (plus whoever has it in the CMF) is fantastic! Minnie's skirt piece would have looked great instead of the awkward legs tho maybe Lego thought it would have looked too different to the other figures - it looks like Hermione will definitely have printed legs for her dress too so I guess they wanted to keep it consistent.
  19. That’s a great idea! I hadn’t thought of that. With Lupin and Mad-Eye from 2018 and Tonks and Kingsley this year we should have a pretty complete rescue force considering all the others were basically extras in the film
  20. Oh man I really really really hope there’s an OotP Tonks in the CMF as well as the minifigure in the Burrow. I’ve already got the 2010 Burrow which I absolutely adore so I really don’t want to miss out on Tonks just because of that. Hopefully because she’s such a fan favourite Lego will have an affordable (if not easy if you’re unused to feeling minifigure bags) way to get her with her iconic pink hair. Also it does make sense that Ron comes in the Burrow even if it’s just to balance out the plethora of Hermione figs included in this wave. Odd that he’ll only be in the two £100ish sets tho (as far as we know) but then there is the Inevitable CMF version too
  21. That's reassuring although I hope there's some sort of print for his torso as well because if the stickers eventually peel off having no detail on the torso would look very odd. Looking at the way the Giant Man figure was constructed, which a leaker directly compared Grawp to, he could have the torso 2 x 4 plates a flesh / tan colour with printing on and then the sloped pieces on the side brown to recreate his waistcoat.
  22. Just seen the figures on Instagram. It’s a shame Harry just has that normal hairpiece as his hair has always been really distinctive in the last few waves, with the exception of the CMF figure with the surfer hair. However I really like that slug club torso printing with the red and black, that looks so much more unique than his Yule ball dress robes. Its cool that they’re keeping the hermione look consistent as well as her Hagrids hut figure is my second favourite Lego version of her after the years 1-2 look with the unique hair. It’s also cool that Umbrage has dual-moulded legs, that makes two this wave alongside Dobby. I prefer Umbrages brictober vairiant tho as it had more colours. Its starting to seem like the more interesting minifigures of the wave have leaked now. (discounting the CMF and Diagon Alley, which will come later). Out of all the figures left unseen which are you guys most looking forward to? Mine would be Vernon Dursley.
  23. The action-pose bar is a really realistic idea, I've already been using some of the DC ones to display my custom ghosts! Hopefully she comes with the Diary too (maybe with one of Riddle's messages to Harry printed on the inside) as I really need more of the new Lego books, I really love that piece!
  24. Maybe it was a small / unprinted build so wasn't noticed at the time? Considering the OotP Hogwarts Castle in 2007 had a superb Death Eater manikin I really hope this one does too, with a unique mask print. It's a real shame we haven't heard anything about any Death Eaters as its OotP and HBP when the main Death Eater design is most prevalent, they're only masked in 1 or 2 scenes from Deathly Hallows part 1 from what I remember. Very much looking forward to seeing Lucius! Hoping to see him in the CMF so he can have a new mould for his snake cane, either welded onto a staff like the CMF nunchuks or as an attachment which can be removed. I think its too early for people like Kingnono to have seen the Diagon Alley minifigures so hopefully he's in the minifigure series.
  25. Thanks for posting these, I don't really follow Creator so I hadn't seen the Assembly Square. In that set each building is worth around £90 but they're completely enclosed and I doubt the Diagon Alley shops would need to be 3 storeys tall so I think the largest any of them would need to be is around £70 worth, apart from Gringotts which could be a bit bigger. If that is the case you could fit maybe 5 buildings in a row, which would be just about long enough to get the feeling of the alley. Because of this I do think now that the Leaky Cauldron won't be included, just the moving brick wall, as it does not contribute much to the overall look of the alley. Also if the Diagon Alley set is going to be around £400 I really don't think Lego are going to deliberately omit iconic buildings for a later add-on. What we see in the set is probably all we're going to get from Diagon Alley in this reboot theme.
