  1. NOOOOO not the defenseless Rochers! They are defenseless nougats of deliciousness !!!! The high king shall not condone this sort of theif of our precious Rochers! NEVEWR! Anyone who posts such a MOC of horrible and wanton acts to such a thing of divine beauty that is the Ferraro Rocher - shall be punished in the most serious manner and maybe win a prize (You have 2 weeks.)
  2. Wow this is really starting to come together! Looking good! what's the approximate wingspan on this bad boy?
  3. Very cool. Though I've never played EVE More space stuff is always good in my books! Well it's plausible... I would think that LEGO has a strong enough brand ATM that they really don't need to compete with every brick based toy out there on every theme... they have enough themes going at the moment, and there isn't really a need to put out something right now to compete... Though I hope you're right
  4. Kirk Valentine I made some notes on your flickr page regarding what you could do... but so far it's a great looking start... three more weeks to go! Tower Lord Wahil What a fantastic start. the waterfall is fantastic! and the rocks are nicely done. The blandest part on the outside is the flat grass. if you're not going to add foliage, perhaps add some layers or patches of dirt just to break up the green zone. The pillars for then next section looks nice though :) Mikel Kalores great story! I can't wait to see the finish moc that goes with it REMINDER Let me know if anyone needs presentation help on challenge three to do some post photo work... haha I LOL'd
  5. Hmmmm what' the best word to describe this? I think I'll go with adorawesome. This is truly fantastic merging of the two themes. Wonderfully executed! The pods are great... as is the medical lab. Really creative build. I think it fits a great addition to the Sci-Fi forum.
  6. Yes, I do own such a set. In fact I have number eight! I did a review too!
  7. SCANDALOUS! TREACHERY! UNBELIEVABLE! The Rocher's of Ferraro are a Kaliphlin national treasure! DISSECTING THEM is unthinkable! The HIGH KING! Shall hear about this! WARS have been started for less! I want one
  8. You had to use 1x1 rounds ... even in syfy didn't you? You know LEGO makes other parts too right? On a serious note. This is really well done. A lot bigger than you described... but I'm a strong believe that a good builder is a good builder - period - doesn't matter the genre. So I hope you continue to try to branch out, not just in Sci-Fi but other themes as well. Is that Maersk blue I spot? I honestly don't have any real constructive comments ... it's a really solid build. (MAYBE hide that yellow rim you're using)

    Canadian Eh?

... would you trade it for a Adult Large Toronto opening shirt?
  10. Hmmmm... this is a tough one .... Instead of picking one, I'll choose 3 from different categories: Favourite Classic set - Black Seas Barracuda Most swooshed set - Imperial Shuttle (either) Coolest set - Moulding Machine #4000001

    Canadian Eh?

you forgot to mention where :P But I'm guessing that's the shope out in Waterloo?
  12. Awesome work guys... some of the best micro building I've seen in a while. Well deserved EVERYONE!
  13. Puckin punny by someone FAR more clever than I am... I must have said something really puckin funny... doubles as allusion to my hockey alter ego.
  14. Welcome to EB! Great to have more Sci-Fi fans on the board I never did try spore - though I have quite enjoyed Sid Meier's other games. I look forward to your well photographed Sci-Fi builds

Nice mech! I'm not sure why but that right leg / foot is super cool. Interesting choice of colours - kinda reminds me of Voltron with the different colours in the limbs! Can you fit a minifig in the mech?
  16. Those thrusters placements just scream: W U B I'm glad you changed this 100 times, cause it ended really frak'n good. Great job zenn! Though what's that windsheild from? I don't recognize it.
  17. Well welcome to not to only Eurobricks, but the additively awesome hobby of MOCing! Though why create in real life then make a virtual one? Real ones are more fun... you can play with them For a first MOC that's pretty awesome! Some nice joints connections you're using there. Though He seems to be missing a big honking gun. Maybe put one on those shoulder where you have the modified plate?
  18. Except that the Monsters isn't Sci-Fi ... it's Adventures Ah well. I'm getting SPACE MARINES, I'm pretty happy - small steps!
  19. Wow... LEGO is really show'n the love these days... even shipping models for reviews. Great review... I think you actually sold me on the set ! Great job on the set!
  20. Happy Birthday Izzy!!
  21. @Stormbringer - we've tried to create a world where anyone can join anywhere regardless of the colour of their brick. The centeral part of hhistorica is your classic castle space. And as you get farther away the more you get into each guilds specific geoographical features - sand in south, mountains and snow in the north, rivers and forests in the west and gloomy mountains and swamp in the east. And there is no reason you can't builld near the center and give it some flair from the guikd you choose. What's important is your take or interptation of whichever guild you choose in these lands. And knowing your work - I'm sure you'll excel anywhere you go. @Darkdragon - as loing as its a backdrop and not a replacement for building... Go nuts!
  22. Wow Mikey! I didn't realize these were your first MOCs - colour me impressed - I would have thought you'd been doing these for years. For some reason I just LOVE the roof you built. It's just so fitting.
  23. I thought Rufus looked like: Nice combo... and that last picture is FREAKY.
  24. Never too late! Very nice colours, never thought to use light blue and tan like that... works well
