  1. 8404 is better, but the new one is fine for the few pieces it uses. When it comes to the set, I have many MANY more serious issues with Town Square than a stupid little snow brusher.
  2. I love it! I'm the same way, I have the older model. Blue is better than yellow. I just don't see the point in another, but the new design is awesome. I love your MOD.
  3. Clearly not from the USA, that type of street sweeper is vey popular in colleges whee it snows, just brushes the snow off the sidewalks. However it does look like the green tractor polybag from a few years back with a brush added. I like the crane, as a separate set, same with the bus. Lego needs to make a $20 or $30 separate bus. I'm sick of buses in sets I will never bother buying.
  4. Huw from Brickset will have the "exclusive" details from 60026 at some point. http://brickset.com/news/article/?ID=5782
  5. Road plates are a ripoff, but why would Lego need to include them, City sets don't even have buildings in the summer release!
  6. I just guess it's the moon because I think in some of the pictures it looks like Earth is in the background. I don't mind land vehicles, but I really like space ships more. I want a galaxy of crazy things. Plus some space ships with crazy bug wings and human fighter vipers would be awesome. :)
  7. Frogs are an awesome idea! Love the idea of penguins, and it would fit into the story. They live up in the snow (we get some none jungle sets) and haven't been part of the war, they just live in peace by themselves, but then something happens and they attack both sides. :)
  8. No where, NO WHERE, did I say that walls were useless, I said the walls / castle was boring.
  9. I agree, we need more bases and space ships. How can a theme that has "galaxy" in the title all take place on the moon? How did the aliens get to the moon? They don't seem to have a lot of space ships, it's all land vehicles.
  10. It's only year 1, and we already have 10+ tribes, which is just too many too quickly. That said I want to more aqua tribes, turtles is a great idea, some fish, or dolphins. :)
  11. The piece count is fine, all Castles besides LotR has big pieces. My problem is in past sets they use the pieces wisely, the sets have rocks and out crops that break up the boring walls. The new castle is just boring walls and nothing much else.
  12. This is theme of the year. Great USA prices, designs, minifigures, value. A true winner.
  13. What would Lego make for a City Space theme? The only thing that gets into outer space these days is a Russian rocket. I think they just had some extra pieces left from the last theme and decided to mix it into the calendar. I love the heliplane for only $45, but the cargo truck is $40 and CG helicopter with only 200ish pieces is $40? Weird.
  14. To me it looks like a redo of the Kingdoms castle, as in they are both boring. There is nothing "wrong" with either set, but there is nothing special from them either. What I do not understand is Lego's use of the raised baseplate. They built a police station and a hospital and a coast guard set, and that ugly IJ set, but they can't use on on a Castle just to make it somewhat different? But we have to remember that while these sets are boring, so is almost every first year for Castle and then they get better and better until they end for no reason.
  15. It looks like the bad guys will be controlled by a witch. I do not like how the "good" guys and the "bad" guys castle / bases look exactly the same. I which the Dragon Mountain was black or had some more brown and leaves or something. Otherwise nice to see some real Castle besides LotR crap.
  16. I only use the train when it's Christmas time because I don't have room for a set up. It's been running the holiday train set nicely for a few years, and the last few weeks. Then I noticed tonight it's been wobbling, and has a hard time moving along. One of the wheels seems to be really bad. Is there any way for me to fix the loose wheel without breaking it more?
  17. 1 by Ninja Nin - 2 points. 18 by CBMM1 - 1 point
  18. There are dark blue police minifigures that almost look exactly like this one in the World City sets. Also I don't see how you can think series 10 will be the last when the CGI pictures from series 11 are parts from a Lego database. That's just silly. And only having two complete series in a box, and thanking Lego for that, and that that is based on Lego listening to what we want, that's just immature. Having less series of minifigures per box just makes it difficult for kids, parents, and fans to find the ones they want. Kids and parents buy these, and they aren't buying tons of them to build and army.
  19. If you don't want them I'll take them. Crap LEGOs are still better than Mega Bloks. At first I thought you were going to say the mice ate the LEGOs, now that would be horrible.
  20. The first thing I did when I bought the set was stick it into water and it floated enough, it didn't sink. Could have used a few more pieces, but it does float to a point.
  21. It looks really nice, but $20 for 64 pieces (the real price) is just insane.
  22. I like it, but it's missing the "zing" of series 4. However series 4 is my favorite one yet, so it's hard to live up to it.
  23. I voted "Average set". It looks nice, but it's very small and very lacking to me. The carriages are rather weird, I really don't like the doors, and have been done 100 times before like was said. So all we have left is the building, nice, but it's missing something special.
  24. I like the red one too, it looks like something LEGO would make into a set.
  25. I like it even if it's MEGABloks. It's a crazy dinokilling ATAT.
