Hi, I've just dusted off my figures, downloaded some patches and started playing again, but it seems like I can't switch attires anymore. I've got Supergirl on the screen, I get the character wheel, I watch the red outline go and change her to the Red Lantern portrait... and then nothing. Can't change modes. Same thing with the 2016 Ghostbusters and Tina / Queenie from Fantastic Beasts. Is this a known bug? Are there any fixes? Thanks for any light y'all can shed on this...

Quality control strikes again: my ghoul arrived without a cape in his package, and my zombie businessman's briefcase was in two pieces. -

My copy has a misprint in the instructions. Page 146, step 8 from bag 5: the blue parts are printed as purple. This continues in steps 9 and 11, and is correctly rendered (in blue) in steps 10 and 12. Very odd. -

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
Iron Moose replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was a little disappointed in this set, though I will readily concede that I had very high expectations. I'm a huge fan of the radar dish, the companion robots, the concept of UniKitty's R2 mount and the computer tile and panel stickers. The computer patterns on Wyldstyle are lovely, and the Octan Pilot is exceptional. I find some of the aesthetic choices perplexing - notably the fragility of the nosecone (thinking of using the grey side-wings for a flatter nose), the dark grey slopes flanking the leading logo, the repeated motif of slopes facing bluntly forward, in upside down engines on top (you'll note that Rufus agrees, and has them the more aerodynamic way forward in the review pictures) and the flags on the needless canard-wings; the clunky tubes and undercarriage... whoever mentioned that this thing needs to smooth out some transitions was bang-on. Most problematic, though? The stickers used on the tailfins with the CS logo. I think they really needed two sets of two mirrored logos, possibly on tail-shaped clear backgrounds, rather than four identical logos which entail very low and cautious placement for symmetry. I've already bricklinked up the classic equivalent of those printed tailfins, and I hope they're shiny and new once they get here.- 228 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 10 Discussion
Iron Moose replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I am alarmed at what I perceive as misinformation in this thread. As per posts at Brickset, Mr. Gold is packaged in an additional plastic bag inside a regular sealed S10 minifigure package.- 1,076 replies

The review may be in error - my edition of the set seems to have additional 1x4 plates in the sliding doors that make them tall enough to not slide out.

Hi all, as above, I'm looking for a scan of the instructions for 20020, the mini Turbo Shredder. I've tried the usual places and come up empty. I'd very much appreciate a scan, or even some cel phone pictures of the instructions, if you're lucky to have them. Thanks, Moose http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?I=20020-1

Which set has the most number of extras
Iron Moose replied to lisqr's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You probably got the 'fixed' 6211 - the plates are official to reinforce the floor. The extra bag of parts in the Dark Fortress is also a known quantity. -
Hi. So, there's this eBay auction for something I'm really interested in... but the seller will only ship to Europe. Is there anyone here willing to purchase it and ship it to Canada? You would be, of course, fully compensated. It's an obscure Transformer, for the record. To make this legal, I have bunches of collectible minifigures, so just send me your want or trade lists, and I'll see what we can do :) - I would even be willing to send a set as thanks, along with appropriate monetary compensation. Thanks for reading, Moose

Minifigs at TRU in Montreal. $2.99 apiece. Not in a box, hanging on pegs in the Lego area.

LEGO Collectible Minfigures Series 1 Poll
Iron Moose replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was initially leaning towards Spaceman, but ended up voting Nurse. She is the most versatile of the bunch, I think, and the syringes work in almost any other contemporary theme. -

Unlikely. Just because they're at Wal-Mart first doesn't mean they'll be Wal-Mart exclusive - and Toys R Us stores in the States are getting them.

So. ... is there an extra of the little black rectangle stickers? There are four on the sheet, but I can only find three in the instructions. Two on the upper cockpit and one on the lower. Many thanks to anyone with more information!
