To my knowledge, they're extinct, or thereabouts.

I.e make the character fit the class, not the other way around.

Quest #80 folks: I'm going on a brief, two-day holiday tomorrow in the sunny wonderland that is Kent. I do not expect to have internet access - therefore Zakura has my permission to control Haldor's actions until I return.

Surely you remember the Fort Bricbay Extravaganza? If you need to refresh your memory: http://123.writeboard.com/v93nkusn04ry8z90njf65vct The password is 'Eurobricks'. Enjoy.

Heroica RPG - Quest #80: Sic Semper Tyrannis
Scorpiox replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
Haldor keeps at it, hoping to finish-off the shaman. Front row, sceptres, twice. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor -
Damn straight.

That's true, but since when has language ever been all-inclusive? That's why folks like Shakespeare wrote a shed-load of their own words, 'cause the existing vocabulary they had available didn't cut the mustard. In the context of this game, Lycanthrope can mean whatever the hell we want it to - unless somebody wants to Wordsmith us up a new term. Nope, the single 'origin' is impossible to pin-down, but there are references to men transforming into wolves in this way back in Greek mythology. Daym!

Easy, girls. No fighting. Haldor will be coming on the norse-related quest that offers the largest reward, clearly. 'Were' is old Saxon English for man, therefore, all a 'Werecreature' really means is a Man-creature. i.e. a part-man, part-non-man being. Transforming doesn't have to come into it, unless the writer wants it to. Pop-culture may have diluted the original meaning, but in our virtual world, pop-culture is whatever we want it to be. That also applies to the polar-bears hanging out with norsemen issue. If you want to be specific about transforming Werecreatures, use the word 'Lycanthrope' - it's more correct for that type of thing. I knew you were interested.

Heroica RPG - Quest #80: Sic Semper Tyrannis

I'm a bit confused as to how the Sceptres work - do they require separate rolls for each hit? Haldor smiles with grim satisfaction at his kill - but he had not time to stand and reflect. The barbarians were slowly but surely piling up onto the walls. "Keep fighting, we're not out of the woods yet! I'll take that second shaman." Front row, twice using the sceptres. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor -

I stated that Haldor would use the Dualis Sceptres on the same target last round. Spurred on by his success, Haldor continues to assault the ex-gladiator with his sceptres (twice) from the front row. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor -
Should have seen what coming?

http://www.bbc.co.uk...t-arts-24697765 Today, 1960s and 70s American rock legend Lou Reed passed away, at the age of 71. As well as being part of the first true Alternative band, Reed directly influenced many rock artists such as his good friend, David Bowie. I've been a massive fan of his work, both in the Velvet Underground and as a solo artist, for donkeys years now - and it certainly hit me hard to read this news today. This was a complete shock for me and very upsetting. Lou Reed has gone to a special place in Rock 'n' Roll Heaven, up there with Lennon, Harrison, Moon, Bolan, Hendrix, Bonham and Mercury. Farewell to a great man, who has left us with a huge legacy and impact on music that will never fade. I'll leave you with this, because it says pretty much what I'm trying to get across. Rest in Peace.

Haldor swings his sceptres twice at the Ex-Gladiator from the front row, painfully conscious of the barbarians closing in around him. Xander also seizes the opportunity to try and get a shot in at Raider B from the back row. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor -
My Z-95 Headhunter arrived today... and it's bloody good. I'm going to have a lot of fun serious building time swooshing and making 'Pew Pew' noises constructing this.

I did read the PM a while ago, but unfortunately forgot quite quickly. Check your notifications now.

And thus no-one will risk attacking a counterstriking enemy... ever!

"Men, stay your arms! Xander's right, we shouldn't waste our hits this turn. Romulus, you finish off the berserker. Xander can take a tougher foe - there's no use wasting a good hit on someone near-dead anyway. I'll handle this gladiator thug again." -

Haldor leaps forward to finish off the ex-gladiator, from the front row. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor -
Do we know for certain that Bolg is in this film? It'd make a lot of sense if Azog just filled in his positions in the book, seeing as he is quite clearly the co-leading baddie.

Customised Iron Man minifig MK HP (High Poseability)
Scorpiox replied to Tomcat RIO's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Woah, that's mad! It's hard to picture a LEGO figure being quite so detailed and poseable. -
I probably sound like a right greedy bastard, buying myself yet more nice things on my birthday, but I just couldn't pass this deal up! 75004: Z-95 Headhunter, all complete, brand new from Amazon for the meagre price of £22.49! That's 44% off the RRP, I'm pretty damn pleased.
