  1. Why not? I ask again. It makes no less sense for a machine to be manipulated by dark magic than a dead creature.
  2. Haldor moves-in to strike at the shaman again from the front row. Same order.
  3. Why not? All 'Necromancer' means is magic through use of the dead, there is no reason my one cannot apply this same power that can restart and control living things to inanimate machines.
  4. I think it makes perfect sense for a machine to be controlled by dark magic, in a world when the same thing can happen to organisms.
  5. An absolutely astonishing performance from a 55 year old bloke who has been in the business over 30 years. The support act, a band I have not heard of called 'Losers' was nice, but the man himself was in a class above. Lots of smoke and strobe lighting to be had, which gave a pretty cool slow-motion effect to Numan's headbanging. My ears are still recovering from the ear-blasting as I write, as I was fortunate to be standing roughly two metres from Gary's shoes. The show was made all the more entertaining by those witty middle-aged chaps who shout funny things like "Get your kit off!" periodically whenever it goes quiet, and then push one out of the way to go and fetch more beer. I've also never seen a man drink so much bottled water.
  6. With precisely 49 minutes of added material! Including an all-new and irrelevant scene with some French people!
  7. That is such an amazing reference.
  8. This is a very exciting wave indeed for me, I for one love all of the varieties of clones we are getting. I have my eye on all three battle-packs, the gunship, wheel-bike and also the Vulture droid. I'm in-love with all of the figures and vehicles, especially that droid gunship. I would have hoped the Utapau battle-pack to be slightly more expensive and have a more elegant Tri-droid design, but one cannot have everything. The only obvious error in these sets is the new Kashyyyk trooper helmet mould, as it is absolutely hideous and odd-looking - I'd have much preferred just a re-use of the scout trooper helmet again than this. The new blaster moulds also leave much to be desired. Sure, they look reasonable as vehicle weapons, but hand-held? No, the existing more accurate and better-looking blasters are superior to these gimmicks.
  9. Haldor tries to make sure that he's the only shaman left standing on the wall. (Shaman C, front row, rods.) Same Order.
  10. Preferable being the operative word.
  11. Haldor certainly has plenty to choose from, as I'm sure everyone would agree. Either making the gnome girl Ameli pregnant and then leaving like an absolute bastard is a contender... or maybe the time that he accidentally killed the paladin right under the Order's nose and then let somebody else take the rap (to be fair, he wouldn't have let Jorke be blamed if he hadn't attacked the party for literally NO reason), take your pick. For the first one, Haldor has always felt guilty for what he did, but after Ameli's father's refusal to admit his responsibility, there isn't an awful lot that he can do. I would take a guess that this makes him feel a lot worse, but Haldor tries his best to not dwell on past failures that he has no hope of rectifying. This also goes for the second event, as owning-up to the crime now would only lead to his own punishment and the tarnishing of Heroica's relationship with the order. Are there any others that I have missed? Perhaps the moment when he also healed both Cronk and Alexis to death whilst trying to help them, that was a pretty large and embarrassing failure.
  12. Is that the one with him wearing a top hat? That's really quite average when it comes to music posters.
  13. Ah! I see what you did there...
  14. "You are wise to seek knowledge of one older than you. I would be careful of one who claims to be able to do this, as there are few in this life who know much of what you speak, even fewer so who hold the power to act on their knowledge. As I have said past, it takes a greater breed than man to have strength enough to learn the darkest forms of magic that these deeds require. The most likely truth in this is one of two things, either this witch you speak of lies in order to trick you, or second, the worse truth is that this creature does indeed have the power it claims, and in this case, I would stand well clear. I know as yet no mortal man who can force the animal from within you. You say that it is not of hurt to you to try? Perhaps, but believing so could be a mistake most foolish - you may find this witch to be something far more of danger than you expect. I? I would go to meet this person once and only once, in a place where others stand and can see. If I felt him worthy of my trust, I would go further, if not, I would not meet him again. Have you been with this one of the witch-kind before? If you have anything to ask more, you must, I am here for one purpose only."
  15. "Great hit, Xander, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Let me finish off this one, then we'll properly have things under control." The nord attempts to make-good on his words, attacking the helmeted foe once again from the front row. Battle Order: Xander Mizuki Romulus Haldor
  16. I think the easiest way to say it is that the specifics can be decided by whoever's character it is. As I said before, there should be no rules.
  17. I disagree with any kind of cap whatsoever. If this is implemented, those lovely quirky low-WP but carrying an interesting effect weapons would never be used.
  18. I hope that everybody finds the character of Lárgh-múnd interesting, I definitely love writing for him. I hope that others will be inspired to pop the Embassy a visit in the future, and gradually reveal more aspects of the curator's past until someone can work out just what the hell he is.
  19. "Very well, I will share knowledge of mine with you. I have seen my part of the witch-kind. When I was but a shriveled youngling scratching underneath rocks, witches did come from time to time. Mostly to try and force our service, as all ones of power desire to do to races they see lesser. The elders did not like the witches, they were loud, violent, always keen to show their powers. They were unwise to come into our sacred places, where no beast does come unwanted. They are not a form of creature in themselves, but merely ones of other creatures that have touched in magics deeper and darker than is natural. But there are also others, ones like this Baba Yaga I mentioned when you last stood here, she is not of mortal blood. She was never man, but she excepts the common rule, rather than forms it. It would be a wise one to write a word that well describes what beast she is, but I am no such one. She is of evil, I would not approach her, as her breed of trickery is beyond even my power. Take it with you that there exists more than one kind of witch. I would not be able to judge the worthiness of your trust in one I do not know, nor have ever seen. But understand this, my past with the witches does not look upon them favourably. I know uncountable worthy ones not of the witch-kind, but I have yet to meet a witch-kind who is worthy of my trust. Remember these words, Benji Carvenhall, and you will better chance survival if you come across one of these creatures in the travels you embark on."
  20. Is there anything written stating that one must like a proposition to put it forward?
  21. As the word 'religion' essentially just means the belief in something bigger than oneself, I don't see anything unrealistic about religions that heroes follow. Religion doesn't have to be organised and it doesn't have to follow any sort of formula to be realistic. The most common world religions might operate in similar ways, but this is a virtual world, realism is whatever we want it to be.
  22. Gengar is certainly very powerful - that built-in immunity to ground-type moves and insanely-high Special Attack pack quite a punch.
  23. Benji stands quietly in the foyer of the embassy, looking around nervously for its curator. There is a brief noise, and in an instant the thickset form of Lárgh-múnd stands behind him, impassive and imposing as always. "Heroica, you return. Why do you do this? Do you seek knowledge from these halls... or help from me? I trust that come better than how when we last did speak."
  24. "We've got to thin them out! Xander, if you get a lucky hit, you could probably nail that last tinhead in one go. I'll keep at the other one. We can hold-out hits from the first shaman if we have to, he's pretty weak so we can deal with him later." Haldor resumes the beating. Same order:
  25. Haldor's maximum health should be back up to normal. "Come on, you big bastard! We're not done yet!" Spurred on by his success, Haldor aims to keep fighting and pin the helmeted man back against the wall. He strikes at him again with his rods, front row. Battle Order: Xander Romulus Mizuki Haldor
