    Can’t believe how well they’re keeping these sets under wraps. Excitement building!

    I hated this series when it first leaked, but I finally got around to sorting my box and opening a set. Having them in person, this is an incredibly strong series with a ton of useful parts (if you’re into that) and the distribution is pretty good for the more desirable figs. Couple of stinkers that my wife and I don’t care for (brick suits, cake) but overall this ended up a solid wave. Can’t wait to finish the year with HP up next!

    I don’t think the designer was including the D2C in his comment, personally. They’re not doing multiple 500$+ castles and I think people would bristle at a half complete castle at that price.

    Thanks, @Mata_Nui also, looking at the toy fair pics, the mcgonagle fig is the 4842 version of her (minus the sloped legs being the new mold) so I don’t think we’re getting a sloped base unfortunately

    Hogwarts Great Hall wasn’t D2C and got a press release so it’s possible, but I agree it definitely doesn’t look promising.

    Brick built Fawkes better not suck like the snake (whatever it’s supposed to represent). sand green ski poles. Homage to the OG sets, or copper in general? I assume the D2C will have a ravenclaw torso then, unless there was a relevant rc member at the willow?
