    So both the wheels themselves and the ‘hubcaps’ (train wheels actually) are chromed in his model. the door handles he uses, 22484, do not come in black and would need painted. 99781, bracket 1x2 - 1x2 in red for dashboard, does not exist. Could sub. in terms of expensive parts- 2736 in black, need 2, just for shifter. (Ok not crazy but expensive for what it is) 62360 in black, need 4, fender flares.

    Hasan actually was selling instructions on eBay a little while back. There are also a few really expensive parts though that is typical of custom builds.

    Lame on the lack of a fourth fig. Lame for Claire and Owen. Pales in comparison to the marvel and HP sets.

    Diagon alley with the Weasley shop is too early if they’re focusing on 1-2 and parts of 3 too. It does fit with the video and the oli fig though. Even still, I’m assuming these rumors (and the SW stuff) are bunk for the moment.

    I fully expect lego to revisit the chamber as it hasn’t been touched since the yellow fig era. It’s not only an iconic part of the COS movie but also is revisited later with purpose. No way Lego passes an opportunity to do it. I bet they couldn’t fit the proper molds into the budget and thus it was passed.

    I’m trying to figure out San Fran. After that big bridge, what else is iconic about the city? Fisherman’s wharf? Alcatraz? Lombard street? I don’t see the appeal of a skylines set here. I guess seeing will be believing for me on that one.

    I guess two reasons- I like that Lego has gotten better about keeping stuff secret and would love to see stuff like this stay hidden until official release so it gets shown properly. it also delays the chicoms from copying it. The longer the delay the better for Lego’s bottom line.

    Bummed it leaked early but looks pretty solid. As long as it’s a comprehensive exterior I don’t mind the interior. Love that they included the hut and willow, boats, dragon, etc. amazed at the size though, unreal at 6k pieces.

    Based on the flyer, I assume it’s free at SDCC, but will be included with the movie?

    I love the horizontal position of this stand but not at that price!

    Hell I couldn’t find the batmobile poly locally. I know people saw them at TRU but I never did at the two I frequent. No luck at Target and Walmart either. Between that and the amount of sets still on shelves I think there’s been a bit of LBMM fatigue.

    Yeah fair point. I guess we would’ve heard if there was something coming this fall. I hope after IW2 that that kills ensemble movies for a bit and frees up some space but we’ll see.

    If the DCCU wasn’t a dumpster fire their product line would be the same as Marvel’s. Assuming the MCU keeps pumping out films like they are I don’t see how Lego does comic based sets with any regularity without significantly altering their production of the super heroe line.

    I like the idea of an exclusive poly, something like “Harry, wand shopping”. Book doesn’t feel right.

    That’s an interesting thought. The DB5 is definitely too curvy in the nose to be reliably reproduced in lego, but I don’t have a problem with the beetle or any of the other cars they’ve done. Hopefully the angle on the license is the least flattering (just like the Chiron) and the nose is minimized head on and profile. (edit- weird, it didn’t include the portion of your post I actually wanted to reference)
