  1. They also appeared in Kenobi. Their existence in live-action makes it at least a teeny-tiny bit more likely They must be, otherwise they wouldn‘t release so many
  2. Incinerator Troopers, Purge Troopers, and Double Death Troopers at least And more Night Trooper variants! Gimmicky sets tend to get released in 1HY waves across themes (like the Marvel mechs or the HP books and banners), but SW is starting to push it a bit I don‘t mind the helmets, midi-scale ships, and dioramas at all, but would it kill them to spread things out more evenly? It’s getting laughable how much more exciting the 2HY waves are!
  3. I‘d still like to see Ms Marvel‘s show outfit and Mobius (and/or OB) Secret Invasion I‘m okay with not being covered, as it‘s so far the only MCU project I flat-out didn‘t like. Daredevil characters are unlikely with the MA-rating they seem to be going for. Maybe the yellow suit from She-Hulk The rest of your list sounds good!
  4. Thanks! Never realised it It‘s a GWP exclusive to Barnes and Noble, it seems
  5. I wasn‘t aware of any mistakes in the HE. What was misspelled there? And the OE had printed pieces, which means they might be pretty valuable one day since the pieces with the correct spelling will end up being far more common.
  6. I guess they‘d give a Mario minifig a dual-moulded hair-hat combo piece, but your point still stands, you wouldn‘t be able to put that piece on enemies either A full minifig subtheme is unlikely at this point, but I‘m still keeping my fingers crossed for a D2C set one day. The course-building system is clearly super-successful given how long it‘s been going, but they must be aware of the demand for minifigs Also, we need this to prevent @just2good from losing her mind
  7. I didn‘t even think of a broader F1 tie-in series with mechanics, pit stop helpers, audience members, mascots and the like, rather than a licensed one with specific pilots! That idea sounds a lot more interesting than 12 generic-looking dudes without any accessories This would also make more sense for the initiative on the whole. Just like this year‘s overarching space theme, which could‘ve had a NASA license but didn‘t, it seems more appropriate not to pursue an F1 license
  8. At first, I thought the rumours of the set coming with a minifig were wrong because it took me a while to spot it Quite unusual how little they advertise it on the box! The model looks excellent though
  9. GUYS! Have you seen the new Batman logo from the latest Absolute comic series? I think we owe a huge apology to the one from BvS This looks like someone steamrolled a poor bat! It’s a spiky rectangle! Let’s hope this one won’t get a minifig. Or a bigfig, with that Bane-like build Can’t judge the characterisation or the story of course, but visually… oof.
  10. To me, that’s the main issue with the idea of Mario minifigs. The humanoid characters can easily be realised as minifigs, but so many characters just wouldn’t work in that form, unless they introduce a ton of specialised pieces That said, I still think they should include minifigs of at least Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad in a D2C set
  11. If I’m not mistaken, this marks the first appearance of an electrical outlet in LEGO form: (Taken from the review on brickset: https://brickset.com/article/112740/review-76437-the-burrow-collectors-edition) Brits, be proud of yours being the first I wonder if they plan to use it in other upcoming sets. It is a print after all!
  12. In canon, the TIE Defender has only appeared in Rebels, so that‘s rather unlikely, unfortunately. We haven‘t seen Vader‘s TIE advanced in quite a while, so that one‘s pretty plausible (even though Vader‘s been everywhere, as @Llewop points out). Another option would be a FO TIE Fighter, but we all know how TLG tend to handle anniversaries Personally, I‘m in favour of a TIE Reaper, but given how unlikely Andor/Rogue One sets are, it‘s either gonna be Vader‘s TIE or none at all.
  13. Yes, one There were two more in May, and the vast majority came out in June and August. So no reason to panic just yet!
  14. Based on what? To me, it seems like they frontloaded the year with non-playsets, so the 2HY wave(s) should be filled with them Yeah, sure, there will certainly be another bigger buildable character à la Chewy or 3PO (fingers crossed for Grievous!!) in the August wave again, but there‘s nothing to suggest a downturn in playsets for the second half of the year
  15. I‘d call that a badly-priced set, not a bad set Fingers crossed they did Two-Face justice at least! And maybe gave the Joker a better hairpiece, but I‘m probably too optimistic here.
  16. If so, we deserve it We didn‘t die as heroes and let ourselves become the jonklers. Speaking of Jonkler: We still don‘t know what allegedly makes the new Tumbler a „bad set“, right? The build has to be similar to its excellent precursor, so what could it be? The minifigs? Hopefully not!
  17. As silly as the Venom horse is, the venomised T-Rex and the big 2019 Venom mech (?) are some of my favourite Spidey sets, so I could actually see that working as a set The thing is, Venom-related sets can work, if they A) avoid the pointless mechs and vehicles in favour of cool venomised creatures and B) introduce more new characters rather than recycling the same old Spidey friends and foes. For instance, Anti-Venom is a step in the right direction! …the venomised car is not
  18. This year‘s 1HY UCS set wasn‘t based on TPM, so a ROTS set next year is far from guaranteed. Anakin’s ETA-2 would be an excellent choice though! A V-Wing, not so much as its screentime in ROTS was very limited. Granted, it showed up quite a bit in TBB, but I doubt they‘d consider that Personally, I’ll be happy as long as it’s not another OT ship again Ani‘s ETA-2 and Poe‘s black X-Wing are definitely my top contenders now!
  19. Reminds me of that fake list for the first (or was it the second?) CMF series, which was pretty quickly debunked after people pointed out that Tarzan merch wasn‘t possible Whoops. Still, I’d definitely like to see Tarzan and Jane feature in a potential CMF S4. Maybe once the final stories enter the public domain?
  20. That‘s an argument against doing a CMF series though I‘d say it‘s not very consumer-friendly to release one member of a duo in a set that‘ll be available for roughly 2 years and the other in a very short-lived CMF series. Besides, CMF series tend to include variants of the main characters, so two spots would go to Nook and Isabelle for sure. The main reason however why I‘m opposed to CMF series based on AC, HP, or SW is that we currently only seem to have one licensed theme a year again and I‘d rather they either use that spot for a theme that can benefit from that budget (Marvel) or new licenses that are unlikely to get regular sets That said, if AC got a yearly series à la the Mario buildable figures that‘s in addition to the three other CMFs, I‘d welcome it with open arms!
  21. I still don‘t think a CMF series is necessary. There‘s only so much you can do with 12 minifigs, and the minifigs we‘ve had so far are of such high quality with unique head pieces and prints that a CMF series could not really improve them in any way Maybe by adding unique accessories, but that would create inconsistencies with the sets. Them using existing pieces for the items adds to the theme’s charm in my book. The only benefit I‘d see is to speed things up, as they currently seem to approach things slowly by introducing important characters one by one
  22. I misread that as „Venom House“, and now I don‘t know which would be the stupider set @Lion King: Thank you for sharing your story! It‘s awesome your friends and family support you so you can still enjoy LEGO as a hobby
  23. Or to destroy it in front of a camera in various creative ways It is an unholy, cursed object not meant for this mortal realm. Agreed! Not only do we have several classic karts, but also a bike, and the three most iconic items (besides the accursed evil one we do not speak of) Yeah yeah, no minifigs yada yada, but come on, we knew that since the teaser. Why are people surprised?
  24. Must‘ve been it! The schedule has been updated, with no mention of „Sparrow“ anymore. Maybe it was a codename for Mario Kart after all. Had they used „Leaf“, fans would‘ve known immediately
  25. Those pieces will be introduced in the Wicked sets Quite nice to see them here as well! The wing arms wouldn‘t work. As you pointed out yourself, the minifigs would not be able to hold things which reduces playability quite significantly. Not sure how well newly moulded arms would‘ve worked either, given they‘d still need to have clips of some description, making them look weird Minifig arms aren‘t accurate at all, but still the lesser evil
