Like the snail, I don’t count it since it also appears in the new Animal Crossing sets ^^ The cowboy hat fits well enough me thinks. Too bad about the feather tho! If Captain Hook’s hat didn’t also have his hair attached, that might have been a good fit

Huh, I only just learned on s@h that the Going Merry is called the Flying Lamb in German, and by that I mean literally that name, in English They also renamed Luffy to Ruffy, but that I knew. I still can’t believe how great of a job they did with these sets!!

The gum gum fruit is actually not a new piece, but a very clever build instead! ^^ The sets are all available for pre-order now, including the Brickheadz!

So we have the following new pieces: Luffy’s hairpiece Luffy’s hat Luffy’s hat with hair Usopp’s hairpiece Nami’s hairpiece Sanji’s hairpiece Wado Ichimonji Buggy’s hat Arlong’s hat/hairpiece Gum-gum fruit Yuro Zeff’s beard, I think? Or is that Gimli’s? Wow.

More detailed pictures are out! The Baratie’s interior is fantastic too! And just when I thought the sets couldn’t get any better, they even included “mini Buggy” (you know, when he only has his head, feet, and hands) I think they use the Thing piece from the Wednesday sets for his hands! The love that went into this theme is incredibly obvious!! This is easily my favourite theme this year.

Pictures of all five sets have leaked! They look awesome!! Somehow they included everything I was suggesting a while back, including a den den mushi usuing the new snail piece!

An additional picture of Arlong has leaked! He sports a tattoo on his left arm and the fin on his back is moulded into the hair-hat piece, which makes it more accurate but less versatile

As much as I appreciate Marty, Anamaria, and Cotton finally getting minifigs, the omission of Barbossa, Pintel, and Ragetti is still just baffling. Just in terms of minifig selections, this is quite easily my biggest disappointment this year They absolutely nailed the rosters in the Beast’s Castle, the Shire, the TNG Enterprise, the One Piece theme, the Spider-man sets, the Ideas Prize Machine, and many other themes and sets this year, but somehow really dropped the ball on this one. I hope we get more sets like the Flying Dutchman further down the line, but I have no idea where else these three could fit in, unless they will also release location-based sets.

I used to be a big critic of this year’s offerings, but I’ve changed my mind, and it’s not just because of Babu Frik (tough it does help considerably) The new Clone minifigs, especially the new pieces, all look fantastic and the builds, while on the small side, are all really well realised. My main criticism was always the lack of variety, which is still true in a way, but actually seeing the sets made me get over that The other early point of criticism was my feared lack of new pieces, and OH BOY was I wrong about that!

Pics of the “Snowspeeder”, buildable Ewok, CTT, and Slave One are out there too! I like what I’m seeing! That new windscreen piece was long overdue! Can’t be too long before we see it used for an TESB Snowspeeder ^^

The V-19 and the MTT both look great, as do the minifigs! Lama Su, Bly, and the Clone Pilot are the stand-outs to me. Also looks like they brought back Ventress’ old lightsaber mould!

The Going Merry has leaked! Looks great!

I‘m extremely impressed by the love and care they put into the theme, just like the crew working on the show did! And we haven‘t even seen the sets themselves yet! After all, stuff like the wanted posters is usually reserved for long-running evergreen themes ^^

Some news, courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat: The CTT comes with 3 Galactic Marines and 3 B1s! The Snowspeeder features a green Duros after all. They‘re named Solitas and come with „chained lightsabers“. Solitas has a STAP. The MTT has 3 Commando Droids and 1 Pilot Droid, plus a STAP. The AT-ST is a proper UCS set and comes with a driver. Asajj still has curved lightsabers! The Slave One features Lama Su!

The 8 wanted posters are allegedly Luffy, Gold Roger, Buggy, Arlong, Don Krieg, Kuro, Mihawk, and Alvida! I think that‘s actually everyone who got one of those awesome wanted poster intros in S1 I thought they‘d do all Straw Hats plus 3 of the villains, but they actually 100% follow what was shown in S1! Impressive!

Yeah, while I’d prefer an additional Galactic Marine, these four minifigs have been rumoured for so long it‘s hard to imagine there being anything additional included, other than a handful of B1s

I think it‘s cute! Not sure what people expected for a set this small

The way I see it, the grey foal and tan long-haired cat are now in TLG‘s inventory, so them showing up again in those colours, but with regular printing is possible ^^ Then again, we’ve had plenty of recoloured animals that stayed exclusive to their respective series (like the black fish in the TLNM series, the azure fish in S18, or the white French bulldog in S19)

If I got a nickle every time people thought a set was cancelled due to a lack of leaks, I‘d have enough money to buy at least a medium-sized sandwich As @THELEGOBATMAN says, this means nothing. Some sets, particularly D2C ones, just leak later than others. No patterns, no rhyme, no reason ^^ Thus, it’s nothing to read into tbh.

The bane of every high-budget streaming show A yearly schedule is just not possible with all the effects work and the physical sets they‘re building. Still can‘t believe the Baratie was actually a real set! Personally, I don‘t mind waiting, to keep the quality on a high level. LEGO-wise, they could still keep the theme alive in-between seasons by revisiting previous seasons, if the theme does well, which I sure hope it will!

Indeed!! Already looking forward to a set with Chopper. I think they absolutely nailed the design in the show!

I might be wrong about that, but I believe BTSV never got an official new release date after it became clear it wouldn’t even be close to being finished ahead of the original date (spring 2024). Until now, that is. Also, if it was intended as a BTSV tie-in, then the minifig roster being based on ATSV wouldn‘t make much sense unless they finalised the selection after BTSV got moved. In that case, they might‘ve delayed the series altogether tho. My stance is that they do the series now because A) Spidey is always popular and B) they wanted to release SV stuff before and only recently finally reached a deal with Sony, and now want to release a CMF asap

…huh? What‘s wrong with Cal? How was his inclusion controversial? Same for Sideshow Bob who never even actually succeeds with his schemes. We have many many mass murderers and serial killers in minifig form, one of which even got a Duplo figure, so these two are harmless in comparison. That said, I think Moe‘s Tavern is still unlikely, but Moe himself might show up in a set further down the line as the Krusty Burger surely isn‘t a one-off. I think the next set will be either a remake of the Simpsons house or the school. Speaking of which, I feel bad for the Ideas designer, but that sorta thing happens from time to time Unfortunate timing!

Allegedly, the posters are 2x3 tiles and there are 8 to collect. On the one hand, 8 seems kinda low, but on the other, it increases the chances you can get all of them by buying the entire wave At least there‘s a use for duplicates since the posters are spread all over the place in-universe

Yes, but I‘m more happy about Garp, Koby, and even Helmeppo making the cut than I‘m sad about Kuroobi
