  1. Couldn‘t agree more. What is there to be shamed for? Set selection? Some may not like the choices, but that doesn‘t mean they‘re bad sets or worthy of being shamed for „Not for me“ =/= „terrible“ That‘s incredibly unlikely. We have two pieces of information from different sources, that point to only one possible conclusion: a collection of buildable items called „Hogwarts Icons“. Unless both rumours happen to be fabricated, which is also unlikely
  2. Saw is definitely near the top of my why-on-Earth-has-TLG-decided-to-skip-these-characters-or-versions-from-the-Didney-era list, but he‘s in good company with 7th Sister, Rukh, Galen Erso, Dryden Vos, TROS Senate, Babu Frik, TLJ Leia, 90% of the Resistance cast, Kuiil, and now OG Crosshair Some on this list are more likely to ever appear in a set than others, but I‘m still hopeful at least some of these may finally see the light of day Btw, it’s not really that surprising or anything, but leakers have confirmed that the upcoming Greef Karga minifig is new Glad to have it confirmed since I really like his season 2 attire Edit: According to lego_fulcrum, factory leaks could start pretty soon
  3. I don‘t think that‘s really how they see it. For instance, it’s not uncommon for Star Wars vehicles to overlap in their sales windows. Microfighters and their normal-sized counterparts happily co-exist, as do minifig-scale and UCS sets depicting the same vehicle Playsets and pure display models are not in competition with one another
  4. Yeah, but that‘s not necessarily a bad thing, makes it a bit more cohesive than other calendars Btw, I‘m a bit sad we‘ve already reached the peak of this year‘s thread Last year‘s got really exciting with all the speculation surrounding DA and the CMF series, whereas this year‘s D2C set unsurprisingly doesn‘t generate much interest The lack of excitement compared to last year is almost more disappointing to me than the set itself
  5. Mando season 3 has no release date yet though, but autumn 2022 seems reasonable I don't think Vanth's speeder would be outdated by next January, considering we're getting a season 1 set this summer
  6. Meh. But at least we're getting some new prints And a sixth figure probably wouldn't have been that interesting anyway, considering the AC seems to exclusively be based on PS
  7. Depends on the minifigs. If one includes the Joker and the other Bane or Two-Face, people might be tempted to get both of them Even though it was „just“ a GWP, it stills count in my book, after all it was large enough to easily be its own regular retail set (apart from the lack of minifigs). Quite a weird decision, but definitely one of the best and most generous GWP sets they‘ve ever released
  8. @Bugbot20082: Thanks for the heads-up Does anyone recall when the AC leaked last year? I only remember that it happened shortly after the main wave was officially announced and that it finally exposed a certain liar, so probably around the beginning of May. If so, it could leak rather soon I just want to know if the minifig count has really been reduced to 5 as previously suggested or if there‘s a secret 6th one
  9. It's a BARC speeder, so of course it's the same build Unless it's a different speeder in the show, but I haven't seen the episode yet
  10. Because it‘s a recolour of last year‘s BARC speeder? Or because its shape slightly ressembles a Technic Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular Double 4L? That‘s a bit of a stretch though
  11. That would be amazing Now that this idea has been firmly planted into my head, I‘ll be very disappointed if the 40€ set turns out to be something else
  12. I swear, was just included to mock us That‘s downright evil
  13. Nah, it‘s a Valais Blacknose
  14. No reveal today? Then what on Earth was that leaked banner for? Will the pre-order start randomly in the middle of May or something?
  15. The Ross minifig leaked, revealing new face and torso prints
  16. I never said it‘s conclusive, just very likely, which it still is I‘ll only believe in a series without these 6 characters when I see it Chip and Dale have different head sculpts at least and the triplets only make a up a sixth of that series The accessory packs seem to be a yearly thing now, so you can always hope for a Quidditch pack next year The new moulds you suggested do sound nice, but they’re pretty superfluous in my book. Their current versions work just fine. Granted, I don‘t really care AT ALL about Quidditch, as you might be able to tell I‘m glad the filmmakers mostly reduced these scenes to only feature the matches that had any relevance to the plot
  17. The people who want a third of the potential CMF series to be pointless Quidditch players do realise that Harry, Hermione, Luna, Neville, and Dumbledore would most likely still be part of it too, right? Meaning there would only be 3 actually interesting characters left
  18. So you basically want the worst minifig in the 1st CMF series to be multiplied by four in a series with an already reduced roster? I get your point about army building, but including four Quidditch players in one series would be like having four recoloured vikings in the same regular series Or four skateboarders
  19. Granted, that‘d be pretty nifty Better yet Yeah, it‘s a good inclusion from that perspective. It‘s mainly the other two minifigs I‘m not all that happy about. I get that “wasting“ desirable minifigs on an AC wouldn‘t make much sense, even if they don‘t require new moulds, like Mayfeld or Cobb Vanth. But would it have killed them to include a Flametrooper or a new one-off side character?
  20. The AC being based on Mando: The rumoured selection: Come on, shouldn‘t it include at least one new minifig? That‘s a pretty boring selection, if that‘s what we‘ll end up with
  21. Mine may just as well be directly wired to theirs, so no
  22. Rufus Scrimgeour had two important scenes: one marks the very opening of DH part 1 with his speech at the Ministry that sets the tone for the film incredibly well and the other where he hands the trio Dumbledore's bequest (minus the sword of Gryffindor of course). His two scenes are short, but very impactful
  23. Don‘t give them any ideas After the penny-pinching 1HY waves, I say new moulds ahoy!
  24. Of course the horns look very different in the source material, but I could see them creating a mould that‘s somewhere in the middle in terms of the length of the horns. The armourer‘s are too subtle for an accurate minifig-sized helmet, so pronouncing them to the point the mould could reasonably fit Saxon too without being exaggerated should be possible Edit: Ninja‘d by Hondo, d‘oh
  25. Bring them down to a more reasonable level, I would say Sets in MINT condition getting more valuable over time is unavoidable, but some people go way overboard with that idea. Remakes are a good way to bring them back to reality
