  1. They reported on the Hulkbuster rumour last November: https://www.promobricks.de/riesiger-lego-hulkbuster-erscheint-2022/132809/ They didn’t confirm a price, only that it’s twice the size of the original one, so it has to be either the $300 set or the $500 one. Unless you suggest there’s even more SH D2C sets coming we don’t know of yet And the $500 one being Marvel has been hinted at multiple times by other leakers Feel free to believe what you want, but I wouldn’t bet on there being a DC D2C set this year
  2. Every D2C set is sold by selected retailers after a while (usually 3 months). They’re only timed exclusives
  3. Rumours are that two release dates exist (May/June in LEGO stores/s@h and August at selected retailers), which suggests it’s a D2C set Are you doubting Promobricks? The $500 set is the only one that has a non-zero chance of being DC, and even that one has been hinted at as being Marvel by other leakers
  4. The previous two FB sets seem to have underperformed despite being small and affordable, so I don’t think a $120 set based on SoD is particularly likely Maybe I’m underestimating the chances here, but I’d be very surprised if there’s anything beyond a Brickheadz pack. Weird that we even have this discussion in the first place A new film getting released and TLG ignoring it in favour of sets based on older content within the franchise has rarely ever happened before. The only other offender is arguably DC as of late
  5. 5002943: „Am I a joke to you?“ It counts
  6. Finally a set based on Iron Man 2 Baby Groot sounds fantastic too! Between this, the HP sets, the SW rumours, a potential Stranger Things set, the return of Indy, and the debut of Avatar, 2022 has good chances to become my favourite LEGO year yet
  7. Info on just one set is better than nothing And having the Sanctum indirectly confirmed is nice too (even though they could be merely acknowledging the rumour itself without adding to its credibility)
  8. Which implies some indirect DC reveals too Unless they can‘t tell which theme the sets that aren‘t revealed tomorrow belong to After all, the sets that will still be unknowns in 24 hours don‘t necessarily have to be DC
  9. False alarm, promobricks was teasing a new Eiffel Tower
  10. The reveal teased by promobricks turns out to be a new Eiffel Tower No idea why they teased it like that then. It‘s not like we had fake rumours about 18+ sets
  11. I don‘t think you can trademark the term „space shark“
  12. Sounds fishy to me *ba-dum dish* And if it’s true, looks like they‘ve jumped the shark!
  13. Has to be Marvel and/or DC. In their IG story, they poke fun at all the recent fake rumours, and since these two themes were the biggest victims of that (and two of the very few themes still without proper lists yet), it only makes sense
  14. We could get some news today Promobricks are teasing a reveal in 9 hours or so on their IG story without specifying the theme. However, they do say it‘s time for real rumours after all the fake ones, so Marvel and DC both fit the description
  15. We might get something today Promobricks will reveal a list in 9 hours. They didn‘t specify the theme, but A) Marvel is one of the few themes left and B) they said after all the fake rumours, it‘s time for some real ones
  16. No, it’s primarily because 1) Gringotts can only really be done justice as part of a D2C set IMO and 2) an extension to DA wouldn’t work all that well without Gringotts. The 2020 set already included the most iconic shops, so a follow-up kinda needs Gringotts to have a similar appeal … I lied. Impatience is also a factor
  17. 2020 is tough to beat, but this will be the best wave to me as well if at least three of the following conditions are met: 76403 is actually based on DH and Yaxley is indeed included 76408 is a playset based on something new (at least not already covered since the start of the reboot) 76405 is a DA expansion with Gringotts Tonks is included somewhere 76407 includes at least one creature (Werewolf/Padfoot) I think the chances are good
  18. I think electricbricks can be trusted on that one. Sure, they miscategorised some Marvel sets as DC, but there’s no reason to assume the codenames to be incorrect Unless we hear otherwise, I consider 76408 to be a playset. Too bad we don’t have a piece count yet as further evidence
  19. If I‘m not mistaken, it was electricbricks that had it labelled as such I would thus assume it‘s a playset
  20. You‘re not entirely off the hook yet Seriously though, this sounds fantastic! A $100 set based on DH part 1 (hopefully) is not something I would‘ve expected. After 12 years, finally! I would say screentime and iconicity should definitely factor into the largest HP set ever concocted That honour should be reserved for something that‘s instantly recognisable and even casual fans would want to display
  21. Can‘t say I expected 5 minifigs here, let alone the 5 most important ones This renders the other set almost superfluous now!
  22. True, that could also be the case Stonewars have added their own descriptions (based on the same catalogue images of course): https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-harry-potter-sommer-2022-erste-details/ Interestingly, they seem to be convinced that Yaxley is included Also, the Horntail doesn‘t appear to feature the same wing-flapping mechanism as the previous two creatures, they say
  23. I doubt a hairpiece from a September set would leak this early
  24. That makes absolutely no sense. Not only do companies not operate like that, why would they need a silly excuse like that to buy another company They just do
  25. Highly doubt that. How many more renditions of the Great Hall do we need? We have two minifig-compatible versions already plus the microscale one. Also, great way for TLG to shoot themselves in the foot by releasing yet ANOTHER Hogwarts system, sabotaging the current one
