    Hi, Does anyone scanned the sails of the new BSB? And the big flag with crossbones? I like the idea to reproduce the sails with a more torn look. That would be more accurate to a shipwreck. I prefer the design of the Shipwreck Island’s sail, but with the new crossbones logo.

    Beautiful ship! Love the brickbuild sails and flag. I was wondering, whether the flag stay in that position in real life... Have you modyfied the internal space too?

    I share you some details of the display. Size: 52x33x45 cm (L x W x H) Water base: 48x32x5 studs (L x W x H) with about 4000 1x1 round transparent blue plates These were my inspirations (a can't name the creators, sorry): Inspiration to my MOD by Gyula Herr, on Flickr Inspiration to my MOD by Gyula Herr, on Flickr Inspiration to my MOD by Gyula Herr, on Flickr This was my first try to create water/sea effect. There are several ways to achive it. I decided to make it with 1x1 round transparent blue/clear plates/tiles. It could have been done more wavy, but it's a good start, I'm quite happy with the final result. I've had some issues with the 1x1 round transparent blue plates. One of my big order contained new, plant-based items, which have a little bit different shade, so I had to rearrange the structure. By the way, I felt these new parts softer too, they didn't fit as tight together as the older ones...

    Hi Everyone, It's been a long time since I posted to my MOC's topic. The new IDEAS set has just arrived and I started to read the Pirates forum again. I'd like to share now an addition to my ship, what I was working on last year. The idea came from the Ship in a bottle set. I like how that little ship swims in the 1x1 transparent round plates. I decided to make a water base and cover the whole creation with a transparent "box", protecting it from dust.     I think a ship like the revamped Barracuda could be popular not only for AFOLs but for kids too. It's has many updates, so it copes with modern expectations. However, the size and price shows that it is made for collectors. I will be happy, if they redesign some classic medium sets, for ex. treasure island, fortresses, maybe a new line of islanders with more jungle, etc. I also hope that other iconic ships, like the Caribbean Clipper will reborn. There is a beautiful model on IDEAS with more than 6000 votes now. I think that the original is not strong enough for the BSB or SES, but the Imperial Flagship is too big and expensive for me.

    I don't know yet. Some prototypes should be performed first. I can imagine, that the azure plates won't be good enough for that purpose. Perhaps I replace them to tan or gray and they will be covered with blue tiles...

    I think I'm going to use some transparent tiles or plates to make the water more naural like at the Ninjago City. Mine has just arrived this morning, hungarian LEGO Store had a special offer. There was a pre-order for the 1st April with free shipping and I liked to grab it.

    As a classic pirate fan, I think this new IDEAS set is a beautiful resurrection of the theme. The shipwreck design is outstandig. However, the blue baseplates are a bit too vibrant for me. It is a great addition to transform it to a pirate ship, but honestly, that way the ship lacks from a few functions. There is no real steering, and there is no place for the cannons. Otherwise it's a fantastic pirate ship, but I think I'm going to display it as a shipwreck. Only if my kids force me to, I assemble the ship to play with them.

    Hi, I really like your MODs. You've made some nice unique solutions, especially at the engine. Looking forward to see, how they come together in brick form. I'm curious, how the minifigs will fit into the cockpit, because it looks promising. How do you plan to give the engine the blue highlight?

    I've just noticed, that my MF MODs have been marked as copyright infringement, so they aren't available on Bricklink's Stud.io Gallery anymore... I can't understand, why LEGO do this... The engine MOD was very popular in my opinion, so it's a good business for the company. I think I'm going to upload them to another platform.
