All is revealed finally. LOL lego must had waited an extra day on purpose at this rate. I think it;s funny lego put the pirate moustache on the lion knight, I did this back when LCK becase I had extra moustaches laying around and thought it was a good idea. I was sold on this set when it was announced but I’m happy to finally see this come to fruition!

Good thing I got my mountain fortress pre ordered, I didn't know it would sell out that fast. But hey, so much for a reveal, what we got was a leaked art than a lego official release. I feel that they did this on purpose to gauge the opinions of fans and stir the medieval pot per se. It worked. I don't even get mad anymore, especially after Majisto but their creative choices as of late, amuse me lol

Soooooo, it's literally the same leak concept buildings without like 85% of the animals teased. Damn, that study was accurate. I just want that new torso. I can totally see this entire set having hinges to open up like LKC, due to the symmetry of the set and buildings. Looks weird but I like it. I lied, the building on the left of the box looks weird and I can't put my finger on it for some reason

Worst Case scenario they sell more chickens in PAB at the lego shop anyways, therefore ensuring that you can get the amount that you want.

Looking back on it now, I feel that LEGO is taking the liberty to literally pursue the “retro” look of their classic sets by literally giving us the basic sets. Quite honestly after having a version of Majisto through out the years and going up all way to the Kingdoms and Castle to the 10305 and this GWP as a massive downgrade, I seriously feel that the BAM torso with the kingdom pants or skirt is the best version they could had given us. The 2015 imperials were excellent, even their print but considering they were new sets I can understand why they went all out. The El Dorado fortress icon sets was a reimagining of it and this is why we get no printing on the shako hats, since the original figs didn’t have it either. Like you mentioned the GWP i could understand why it had no print, but the lion knight castle and the lack of prints on the armor and some torso was the prime example that something’s up. We got some sweet fabric banners AND shields hehe though. They already released and teased some figures from that Snow White set!!! Though, we already got a peek at a few dwarves! Lego slacking on the MTS haha

Prior GWP have gotten better prints before, look at Forestmen hideout and Blacktron cruiser. Majisto got no print from in 10305 and the GWP, and it baffles me because yes indeed the print from the BaM was great and I too use it for my Majisto standing!

The ones from 10320 were a downgrade from the 2015 pirates and 2020 barracuda bay pirates and imperials. Look at Majisto, dude has no prints and even the print from the dragon faction is mediocre. It's sad really.

True, When you said modular Mill Village raid came to mind, it was great that everything opened up like a book and was followed closely by the recent lions castle. I love it. I honestly don't know what to expect from this but I'll love it either way! Leakers don't want to get caught, hence why they rather use someone else to spill the beans, more than likely they signed an NDA either way. They don't want it to be traced back to them. The Lion castle was also leaked through the back to the future video where we actually saw an earlier version of it that ended up being accurate TBH

Now I’m pissed. My Bestseller order from October 31st has not yet shipped out yet. I placed an exactly similar order due to the double VIP points this weekend and ordered MORE bricks that were from the same order back in October. To my horror this recent bestseller order just shipped out today. I literally had my old list and re ordered the same bricks and got a few more. I talked to a service rep in the past and told me my order was delayed by two types of white bricks that were supposed to arrive by 1/24. The same bricks were also on my last order but yet, it’s already shipped… Can they send me my GWP from October and cancel the rest of the bestsellers order from October because at this point it’s all I want. My order from October had 293 bricks, this one was 298. I don’t even know who to vent about this because wow. My order did get lost in the system with a GWP.

I bought an extra one from walmart for 69.99, then a week later they dropped the price again to 59.99. Lego sets get rotated so fast, other brands like DC and star wars will sit there for more than a few years and not move.

The problem with these sets is that LEGO is being cheap on torso and accessories printing. They are pretending they are still in the 80's. We got better imperial soldiers in 2015 than the el dorado set, however if we compare it to the original one, it's better but Its difficult to erase the 2015 wave from my mind. Same with castle, they are only focusing on torsos and no shields, halberds and axes. Heck, their minifigures get more details but still rather than moving forward and improving, which I get the audience is not there, it feels like they take a step backwards. The fact that majisto's minifigures had no printing whatsoever is worse than the bare mininum. I am happy about releases but i'm just nitpicking here. I can build more figures thanks to PAB and get more bricks to enhance them though.

I remember a few years back they also said that castles and pirates would had been 3in1 sets going forward as well(2021). I’m glad that’s not the case anymore I think! Either way an extension to the castle shouldn’t be hard to do, considering how modular the castle can be when expanded. That makes sense I completely forgot about their control of information! Nothing gets leaked unless they deemed it worthy, unless retailers do it before a reveal. The way the Fortress and Majisto’s workshop have been released, keep your expectations low, because with our luck they’ll probably throw us unprinted animals, armors and shields. I know for a fact that we will never get One mold Axes and Halberds but Hey it is what it is. LEGO Icons have been exclusive to Lego for the time being, I haven’t seen the El Dorado on retailers outside of lego. It hasn’t been announced. They leaked a prototype picture of the set when someone from the Adult Lego study group took pictures of them with LEGO proprietary watermarks and they vanished from the internet. They were supposed to give feedback on the “2024” sets but someone broke their NDA when they posted the pics. The 10331 set was revealed today and it comes out February, 10332 is this set so next month we should see the reveal around this time. Fingers crossed.
