Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
eldiano replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Managed to get the 9 I wanted, when assault on weathertop was released I scored all 9 and I feel that I need to update their torsos, I’m hoping they are the same! Thanks -
Thank you, To be honest I bought the spring sets back in March and never built them at all including the ones released in august and since i'm catching up with my back log of lego builds, I didn't know if I got the ornery and to my surprise I actually bought it. i haven't opened them to see because I just got out of surgery, I was just curious if they were modular to the new ones or the previous wave. The only issue I see is the white bricks as snow and now I would need bricks to match it the ornery during summer haha. Thanks

Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?
eldiano replied to Vitruvius's topic in LEGO Licensed
So set 10352 is Krusty burger? Good thing I sold my last one, I will jump on this one for sure and collect them again if true. I'm just shocked because disney's has been making the license difficult for sure. They just cancelled my favorite simpsons game that I was playing since 2012, The Simpsons Tapped out and made me question what was Disney trying to do with the simpsons like if anything and the toy sections at retailers if filled with simpsons 3.5" figures. -
The key wording and my take away from it was “Buy past sets from the LEGO archive” as a heads up that indeed they would be re-issue sets of their older catalog, I’m guessing unlicensed and made to order. With modern variations of course due to the bricks not being made or maybe they still have the molds and could re use them. I know that lego is against reselling lego sets, but they have done it in the past, especially with GWP’s like forestmen hideout, and lego ideas sets like the ship in a bottle. All existing toy makers are literally reissuing their older sets, from Playmates and the TMNT retro collection which aside from a few differences are using the same carded box from the 80’s, Hasbro finally fixed their Optimus prime trailer mold and has given us perfect reissues of Prime in this year, and of course other toy brands like McFarlane with older Kenner figures. LEGO seems to interested in doing this but they are trying to figure out a profitable way of doing so IMHO. I’m all for buying reissued sets of pirates, space and castle in a heartbeat if given the chance versus waiting for the next remake of an older set. If they have a museum of every single set they have, which could help them in reprinting older brick molds. I hope that makes sense for you on how I imagined they could do it, because to be honest hasbro has been knocking it out of the park with perfect or almost near identical reissues of their G1 transformers, but on the other hand we know LEGO is comfortable with licensed sets at the moment, but there’s always what ifs. Like it or not retailers are pushing their subscription services that LEGO is really one of the few who hasn’t leaned towards it.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Ehh the sentinel from the 2014 set wasn’t bad, i just regret selling that xjet compared to the one we got recently. Just got the xmansion and love the different scales now but i agree the locked knees makes it weird -
Dumb question but is the castle ornery fit the old or new. Hogwarts castle layout?

More like warner bros hates Dc at this rate -
It was 4.99 what they were asking but the premise was the mention of reprinted sets which piqcued my interest, rumor had it like recent sets and I had my eyes on the 2015 pirates or 2013 castle sets. I

I just wish TLG stuck to their guns with the subscription plan that let you buy classic sets as a perk. I was banking on getting more pirate sets that way.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

With leaks, stuff changes, I wouldn't worry about what final figures make it to the set or not, considering leakers have been wrong about recent sets either way, like Coryo mentions, a lot of wording gets lost in translation. Take the Endurance ship, we thought it would have been a full-sized ship, instead we get a mini scaled ship and no minifigures, all I'm saying is don't give your hopes up. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

The thing is that I use my iphone to buy parts and I could get away with it back then, but now when I used a desktop I saw the layouts you mentioned but the problem is it won't give you the parts from the GWP even if it doesn't find it. Like you mentioned, if it's not a regular set, it doesn't populate the search lets you choose the bricks. I can't do the same with blind bag part numbers either. -

What’s up with LEGO and GWP’s? Before it was easy to find the sets on their search engine, even though it wasn’t easy. Now it’s completely banned, no parts count or blind bag accessories exist through there. I know it was mentioned before but now my shopping cart that I have saved since it was do able a few weeks back, it dropped in brick count related to that set. -
Thanks, the only thing I have seen on third party stores is like 140 bucks for 20 pounds, but I was just curious to see if it was really worth it for the time being.

Have you been robbed of your LEGO collection?
eldiano replied to 1963maniac's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Second hand LEGO retail stores have been targeted by robbers, especially in California where they just recovered close to $300,000 of stolen LEGO sets. LEGO value awareness has been steadily rising, which is now targeted for their resale prices. Insurance agencies will never pay fair market value, but storage spaces do offer insurance on their units, the one I used only covered up to to a $1,000, so it really depends the brand you choose. -
I have a lot of LEGO I'm trying to get rid of and just got this email from LEGO news about their brick trade in program: LEGO® Brick Take Back (legobricktakeback.com) I want to get a gift card rather than digital cash back, does the trade in offers sound reasonable versus taking it bulk locally to a third party store? The max we could do at a time is 45lbs and if eligible the difference between $108-180 is drastic IMHO

Whoa that cannot be true, LEGO doesn’t hold the license for Ninja Turtles anymore and that’s the head of Raphael from 2014, unless they are selling old licensed parts or we’ll get an error either way when ordering them. That rancor figure would be $60 alone and with the arms an easy $100 lol -

Yes, you can’t find them that way by popping up, just type in the set number and it will show the pieces. I’ve been placing a huge order for 40601 parts but typing it does work, it just doesn’t “populate” names don’t work either, just numbers -

Thanks! That door is a worthy replacement for the 3in1 castle throne room entrance! -

I’ve been surprised too, but I was curious why the manual spits out the cape box number from the lord of the rings set because the other four are mini capes for the hobbits but the actual box that comes with the set has a different part number! That’s just for the brown one, the black one is separate on its own on pick a brick!! I’m just waiting for the red skirt and the door to get released from this set, but I think my MTS villagers are ready to meet the rest of the town! My pick a brick order with the new torso arrived: I got 10332 but never had a chance to build it, but I think I’m now ready to do so that my other villagers arrived. I’m missing capes but this will do: -

It’s funny when I see cool faces for my pirates and knights and then find a totally different modern accessory on the back! My MTS torsos came in with the capes, which is the set from Rivendell like they mentioned here, so the manual and pick a brick is completely wrong on the capes included the only thing is that I’m on a mission to get only brown and black capes for my Wolfpack and other tax assessors LOL -

Did Anyone notice the graphics overhaul of PaB on the US page? Everything is 3d rendered now, somewhat, from what I have seen anyways! My Standard orders from the first and 3rd of July have been Shipped!
