I don't want to give you a wrong answer but stateside goes live at midnight EST, I don't know what time zone it could piggy back off in europe and the people I asked on different lego forums haven't given me a straight answer period, check it around that time, the good news is that this is not a disney set that's set to fly off the shelves but lego could make lower quantities of this set and sell out, it could go either way to be honest.

I’ll get the majisto GWP but I literally did just win a blacktron auction for 25.99usd 🤣🤣 a great price considering the others were 70 and above!!! I’ll head on over to the Lego store tomorrow morning.

Currently owning the 2018 hog warts express and thinking of getting the 2023 one, is there a preference over the 2018 over the 2023 and viceversa? What’s the general consensus on it? To be honest, the only selling factor for me is the hogsmeade station because I think the train looks barebones compared to the other one but I can’t compare both yet, thanks

Well Indiana Jones is neck in neck with this one, websites are making it seem like the flash flopped hard but yet when Dial of Destiny made 5 million more than the flash did on opening weekend, they are saying it’s a victory. One of the industry accurate websites are saying that Indiana Jones is cursed but because audiences are discerning between watching movies on the big screen and screening. I just think it’s funny how polarized reviewers now, there’s no in between anymore.

Makes me hopeful of the upcoming el dorado set figures being bestseller in their future as well

That price tag helped out a lot as well, people didn't like the 399.99 at first, lego is unpredictable either way because GWP can sell out super-fast. I mean, to be honest I have heard you can purchase random sets, return them and just pay for the price of the GWP but we shall see. The Disney 100 GWP sold out from shop lego already...

I wanted to be there Tuesday day 1 for this set but I missed out on the Blacktron set and i am conflicted on really what to do, do i wait until the following week or what? Will this set fly out of the shelves and be backordered the moment it goes live, I have no idea what to do, but as usual lego likes to release GWP in the middle of the freaking month for who knows what reason and it sucks.

I’m conflicted on waiting until July 11th to purchase El Dorado. I mean at this rate the Blacktron promotion is only running from July 11th to the 15th 😭😭

Oh my bad, don’t mind the minifigures, I was just posing them with the set, I should have taken the figures out before taking the pictures, but for sure it would be close to 5-8 figures total, oops my bad, I completely overlooked the figures.

Just the quality of plastic in recent years from any brand, I have had shfiguarts, Bandai, hasbro, Lego, figures in general, I’m a collector I barely touch or adjust my figures but I had two buy two autoart models car to fix only one car, Lego is on the same route, some of my figures have gotten tight around the arms and last I moved it, the arm snapped and broke off easily. i buy Lego because the company is one of the few that still offer replacement parts but I personally have moved away from buying every single figure that comes out, what destroyed my confidence was hot toys and some Star Wars figures, where the clothing disintegrated on me, faux leather sucks! I’m at that point in my collection where even my die cast model cara have gotten paint rash 😭, it is what it is, but my original experience with Lego breaking came from the kingdoms sets, some recent Star Wars sets and recent Harry Potter sets have snapped on me, but it is something to consider.

This my entry for the contest, I thought the 2015 line had potential and seeing how detailed and modular the NINJAGO lineup was I decided to revisit the 2015 pirate skull island and shipwrecked defense for a bigger hideout that would be impregnable for imperials to get through. It’s more of a docking station for the brick bounty but it also adds a sense of being ship wrecked still!!! My goal for this was thinking what “if” lego released a second wave of the modular 2015 pirate wave, I figured they would expand on the shipwreck more than anything!!

This is my entry to the contest, Although the brick built sails that came with this set are good, I wanted regular sails. I took the liberty of changing the masts to fit the sails and also modified some areas to make them minifigure height around the deck and added a wall to separate the front of the ship from the rear. It’s a decently sized small ship but my vision was to add a few details and building techiniques I found from the 2015 Brick Bounty and the 2020 Barracuda!!

Nahh, toys in general are not made to last as of recent, recent minifigures have broken and shattered, even some bricks in some Harry Potter sets have broken and snapped, I’m still processing all of this!

Just bricks in general, All colors including brown pieces are prone to breaking, you can order the replacement pieces from lego from free or purchase it from another site but you can still find the majority of the bricks through lego.

Wait, quick question, looking at the imperial trading post and seeing how they mixed in new red roof updated elements with this one, and considering how the new baseplate styled bricks, would you buy two or three to make it possible? Less than a week for its release!!!

It’s funny because LEGO.com clearly changed their VIP release date from July 1st to July 4th, someone else on this forum caught it as well before the change. I’m only mad because it’s being released on a Tuesday now haha, but when items are out of stock on LEGO.com check your local store inventory for updated stock.

Look at the current state of LEGO pirate sets, last pirate set was released in 2020, there’s no waves just small pirate themed call outs, who knows when the next pirate set would be. PaB is cheap as hell and I can build a dock cheaper than BL to be honest, not to mention I can get extra mini figures that way. Many thought this year’s classic set would had been the medieval village because they were rumors about how it could connect to the Lion Knights castle but el dorado came through, i love this set better than the creator 3 an 1 set we would had gotten if lego kept their word about the classic lines. I’m completely happy modifying current lego sets, what’s done’s done, and I can’t wait for this set. To answer Jack Sassy, the Disney route: we get diamonds rather than pearl gold, when before it was chrome yellow for pirate treasure.

I’m buying this for the figures, any fan would know we can replace brick colors and swap out what we don’t like I.e brick made door on second floor but fact of the matter is that people indeed complained about the POBB masts and to add the cherry on top if the docks were brown, ya’ll would be saying it should had been better in black. Lest we forget Lego has been getting away with charging overinflated prices, I am pretty sure if POBB was released today it would had been close to 230-250. There’s no comparison, remember the 50 dollar increase from what was originally the Lion Knights castle? For the longest time we heard it was 350usd then just so happens that August was the day they increases said prices and we got it for 399.99 😭😭. there’s no going back.

My logic behind this set is that the bricks and figures from such a period will be available "again" like if I wanted to recreate an Imperial trading post per se, the new bricks and style are available from PaB, making it thus easier to expand on these notions and imaginations hehehe

To be honest, this is my logic on this, and I might sound crazy, but even if LEGO managed to release one set per line a year, in my humble and crazy logic all I can think is Pick a Brick. Endless possibilities, in my case, when all the previous sets we discussed were released I have managed to double my set oriented exclusive pieces and minifigures to future proof my collection, If Lego won't give me the sets I want, I might as well bank on the current availability of the "line" and the figures. I bought two sets of barracuda bay minifigures for my pirate lineup and tripled my lion knight army collection for each banner under their shields and managed to acquire bricks and essentials necessary for my projects. I'm not creative by any means but I just expand on current mentioned sets, I'm trying to be hopeful with lego but the days of pushing multiple Pirates and Castle sets for us consumers are over I think, so I am content with what we get and I love new and improved takes or remakes of their older sets, because it evolves on what we grew up on. Believe me, my wallet is ready, but I am also still hopeful that maybe LEGO will go the subscription right and keep their word on the Lego Vault sets exclusives and would be curious to see how far back they would had gone. I'm a little sad because LEGO was changing the LEGO VIP early access window from the 7th, to the 1st, back to the 4th of July and since it's a national Holiday I don't think that many people will be in town in the first place on the US that is. They already leaked the DISNEY 100 GWP for July, with a set number and no majisto as of yet. Knowing LEGO, they will probably release it on some off the wall month to get us to purchase their sets.

If I am lucky I am planning for my second set of this to be an Imperial trading post, considering the ship we got for this and the similarities it makes perfect sense I think! LEGO legit said that castle/Pirates would only move forward as creator 3 in 1 sets. they sold enough castles and ships to finally throw in the towel and give us PoBB/Lion knights castle. I'm excited.
