I remember when the Pirates of barracuda bay came out I did the same thing and bought multiple pirates but the turn around time was legit a week and half. I get it it takes that long to ship them from europe but they cite low employees helping them sort them out. Do you know if they put up the sails as well? I honestly bought everything that said flags, pirate related and like two admiral hat styles. I didn't see the sails but i'm also keeping track on that mini shield 14 and torso from 10305 that I wasn't sure.

Just be patient and check the site frequently, it’s worked for me in the past when I Army build pirates and knights from previous recent sets! I was just happy my order got confirmed with everything I wanted. Now to wait 28 days hehe.

They went live around 2:40-3:00am, I managed to get a little of everything

I found it interesting that the when you narrow down the pieces by sets they don’t show up in the sets. I tried to keep my page only to bricks from 10320 and none of what just dropped is sorted in there. Maybe the bricks from that set were locked in and they got new design id’s which I’m all for. Once I saw the flag, torsos and admiral’s hat, I lost it. Although I only wanted more yellow bricks that were missing on the regular missing bricks page -

When a shopping cart goes down in pricing in pick a brick is when you meet the lower minimum required quota for “service” fees they have. To get GWP through PAB your order has to meet the require dollar amount before taxes and service fees. It’s confusing but that’s how I always get mine. Usually I like to place big orders once in a while for that reason because the service fees for some items are not worth it -

Compared to the other entries here I really feel like I have no chance in winning but the worst possible outcome is not trying at least. Either way the rules mention El dorado or something of equivalent value deemed appropriate by The Lego Group so it doesn't have to be another El Dorado. Plus, to show solidarity in the brand and support any pirates sets in hope of more official sets in the future. Either way I want to purchase another El Dorado set in the future for a mini expansion of some sorts, I tried going the Pick a brick route but was pricy. Hi, My inspiration for the ships was due to the fact of how much disappointment I have face with LEGO with similar expectations, we wanted a bigger medium ship but we just got row boats, also the jist of this set is that the only entry points are "row boat" sized to keep the galeons from full on destroying the fort. Henry Morgan did the same with the second siege of Portobelo by flanking the Spanish fleet, hiding their big ships around the bay and literally destroying their defenses with foot soldiers, hence my inspiration for this set! A full on attack to portobelo by ship would had been averted had the spanish seen the ship arrive at the bay. I understand this set lacks colors and life, but I was trying to keep faith of the original sets, which I can see why it didn't pick up that much interested when they were released. I will focus on adding more foliage and green to them though, I can redo the floating piers and add more rocks and spots for sea life to thrive! That's correct, the original was just two sets and one configuration for the imperial soldiers and the pirates. Although they are really cool in person they infused weird building techniques and play features that don't hold up really well to this day. I wanted to keep them under the 89.99 retail price and more than anything think of how lego likes to focus on simple designs. I bought a ton of white/grey/green/dark red bricks just to be able to modify this building to my whim, I originally had a different layout for this, but I ended up liking this more than I envisioned, i'm so old school that I hand drew some designs hahaha, ldd is time consuming, i like ordering the parts and just building them from scratch in person I guess.

You had no idea how I feel right now! I also placed an order around 3am and the site was running fine, I was on it this evening again to order a few bricks that snuck under my radar but it was glitching out like you said! I know some of the parts I was missing were under the bestsellers so I thought it was my browser giving me an error whenever I realized that they were updating the renders, some of them are there but the old ones are still present!!! I can wait hopefully is not too long after this tbh. Thank you so much, I'm curious to know why Lego switched to flat silver on knights' helmets and flat gold on regular sets whenever the PaB is selling their metallic versions. I didn't know about this and was confused until I pulled out an old invoice from 2021 that had the same part number I was looking for, that offered the shiny helmets. Last year all I was getting from Lego was just flat silver helmets, something I dislike. So, to be honest the fact that they offer the metallic parts, but we got the flat colors kind of bothers. I have no problem buying them to catch up but I'm still trying to process all this. Now my knights can look uniform with the others with the shiny silver helmets and the pirates can plunder metallic gold ingots now!! Part of my confusion came from whenever I pulled up the pieces that are sold through the same set number, I just thought it was easier to get them that way, now I know that typing silver ink and gold ink under PaB lists up the classifications of said items! Thank you soooo much for explaining this. -
Who knows what’s going to happen with the Majisto GWP because we already got the August, September and October GWP line up unless they sneak it as a VIP promo which I can see them doing it to be honest. 40594 Houses of the World 3 40598 Gringotts vault released in September 40599 Houses of the World 4 TBA majisto unless it’s canceled. Quick question, i have extra official sails that would benefit from being the same size as the imperial trading ship ones from this set, would you recommend cutting official sails to match their size? I just realized that the imperial trading ship sails are perfect for my creator 3 in 1 ship’s size but I’m having a hard time cutting up official sails from lego and i don’t know why haha

Nothing on the US website, but I guess it would help with the Gold Ink and Gold metallic debacle PS I guess the website is still updating the cache because when I’m trying to browse a lot of pictures are blanked out and a a small majority are pre-rendered hehehe -

I have a dumb question, messing around with pick a brick and digging deep, I wanted to ask how shiny or metallic do the Gold/Silver ink bricks are? From my understanding the silver/gold metallic colors are flat but do the "ink" versions make them shiny? Thanks. -
LEGO 10320 Eldorado Fortress - MOC / MOD Thread
eldiano replied to CAESARBLACK's topic in LEGO Pirates
To be honest the entire governors balcony and room need to change haha, but I always wondered if Eldorado was meant to have gold bricks or just yellow to simulate gold? It could be interesting to explore and combine the lower levels to match the older set I think. -
It does mention classic sets from 1989-1997 OR Modern sets. ;)

Hey, someone has to build 4+ sets haha, this is beautiful

This is my last entry, I think I learned from my mistakes but following the spirit of the 2015 Pirates Imperial line up, this is the Soldier’s Armory that can combine with the Soldier’s Inn and Soldier’s Outpost. This adds another pass through Outpost and adds a few piers. In Theory this is the last defense that stands between the open ocean and El Dorado Fortress. The pirates did manage to snuck in through the only opening though! My building techniques came from studying how Soldiers Inn and Soldier’s outpost were built and combined techniques and bricks used, this set went through at least 4 variants with different outcomes but I liked this one best. The Second floor contains a copy of the letter that the pirate in Eldorado was trying to steal. The first floor has a small office for the Governor of this island. The gimmick of this set it is well stocked up in sables, muskets and pistols and some cannons. There’s no Jail because the imperials use the one from the soldier’s inn, the outpost contains the treasure. I wasn’t trying to do some extensive AFOL set, I just wanted to create a new set compatible with the 2015 as in LEGO was continuing the line with a second wave, I figured LEGO would allow expansions between sets. The other sets in the background as just for ambience. (The Black seas barracuda is still shipwrecked in it’s bay, the creator 3 in 1 ship hasn’t been made yet due to the lack of gold(that will be plenty after raiding Eldorado)) A look a the proposed but not identical figures: Small pier Docking Pier Guard Tower Accesible Armory with stand Back Side Armory Side View Origin of the Letter Checkpoint Desk The set Minus the boats: Different ways of putting this together: All sets combined: Aerial: This set is nothing fancy but the possibilities are endless just like your imagination. Believe me I went with different ways to make this set, even extending it back with a ladder and secondary pier, but the Eldorado Fortress inspired to just leave the last configuration on, I hope you enjoy this and Thanks!
-
Now i’;m thinking about raising the pier because it can be re arranged and like a docking station, there’s hinges and play functions all over this set hehehe I’m trying to figure out how to rebuild it like the suggestions I’ve seen here,I have to see if I have left over brown pieces from my monumental order I got them from a while back! WIth this button, the canon flies

It looks fine the way it is, I was debating on buying a second set so i can try to imitate the trading post but the pier is what got me, it has more buildings and the guard tower and extra storehouses is what got me! It looks fine
