Bard will undoubtedly be a preview figure like azog. That's his main costume in the new movie they wouldn't just exclusively give it away there. Going by AOU promo pictures I'm gonna make some guesses. 6 sets (really the minimum to show off all the characters/scenarios) I reckon largest would be about £130 and would be Avengers Tower as it is mentioned in EW that in the aftermath of the end of shield and the battle of new York that tony has redesigned Stark Tower into a high tech home/hub for the avengers. There seems to be some sort of fortress for Baron Strucker in the alps so I could see that being an £89.99 set or part of his lab being a £39.99 set. Then there is a lot of action sequences they have filmed including a skirmish in the forest, a battle in a city, something in Africa and Korea. So the set possibilities are endless. I reckon that one set may have a brick built huge Ultron as he apparently in the movie can grow huge. I'd guess character wise: Iron Man MK43 (AOU costume), Captain America (AOU redesign costume), Black widow (no Cheek Bones or at least done better with accurate hair and her new suit), Bruce Banner (appears to be a large part of this), Quick silver, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye (new long coat and maybe the normal costume, also maybe better hair/face), War machine (confirmed to be in the film), Nick Fury (apparently in the film), Baron strucker, Ultron, Ultron drones and maybe Maria hill. Also i'd imagine we'll be seeing Hulk and the Hulkbuster.

Just watched some of this odd new show that recently started over here in the UK "Hulk and the agents of smash?" anyways there was an episode where movie design malekith was in it. Just a thought but if Lego were to make any sets of it, it could open the door to a possible malekith Thor TDW style version.

Agreed. I also am not to keen on the exclusives. I mean when its an exclusive variant or a preview figure then it's less disheartening. When it is someone like Green Arrow, Spider-Man from the movies or even the collector as he is a part of the new movie. I can see perfectly why anyone would get a bit annoyed. An interesting point a friend who collects Doctor Who Action figures came up with is that some of the things given away or sold for that matter, exclusively at comic con are the cream of the crop as it were. They have so much effort put into printing or detail. It makes you wonder if they put all the effort into a figure like ASM2 Spidey and when now we have had the same spider man figure for 3 years in 8 sets. It makes you wonder why they don't put that much effort and detail into mainstream spidey sets. Especially when the Lego variant comic cover of Amazing Fantasy from last year showed an infinitely better Spidey with detailed torso and leg printing. Its not like it would not look like the one in the show because that is dark blue and red anyway and has leg design. I also think something like the 66 batmobile a cultural icon should not be sold exclusively at comic con especially if it was to include exclusive figure/s. I hold out hope that like the Lego movie set this is a preview set for later on.

Hmm he has boots? That's a big step for Lego. Personally I don't mind the absence of boots or inclusion of them but its interesting to see some evolution. I guess zur en arrh batman will either appear in a set or not at all then! Fair do's.

I was referring to Owlman of the crime syndicate rather than the watchmen. Yeah but the legion of doom seen in the batman 3 game MUST appear in next years sets. Croc, Cheetah, Grundy and firefly would be great. Add that to new designs for bats, wonder woman, superman. plus green lantern,cyborg and classic manhunter plus braniac and you have a lot of potential for a good wave next year. Hopefully other additions would be green arrow and deathstroke.

I just watched Crisis On Two earths today and thought it'd be really cool to see Owl Man in lego form! Perhaps if JL gets multiple movies one day we may see a live action crisis film and in turn an owlman figure.

TBH figure wise I'd prefer the Begins suit over TDK as we have a TDK one. What I'd want is Ras Al Ghul, Lucius Fox, Begins Suit, Ledger Joker, catwoman, Scarecrow, Alfred (Caine).

Batman wise next year. I expect a few sets based off the videogame. I'd go pharaoh's quest route with each set having a GL ring like the game synopsis says. My guess figure wise would be and what i'd want: Batman (new cowl and batsuit like game), Superman (new videogame version), Green lantern (video game), Cyborg (new game design), Wonder Woman (new game design), Martian Manhunter (game design with that cape), Lex luthor, Solomon Grundy, Braniac, Cheetah, Firefly, Space Batman, Killer Croc (big fig videogame design), Joker. I'd guess the flagship set would be the watchtower for about £100 with braniac's ship attacking it. The heroes and villains would be spread through sets involving other planets and vehicles for heroes and villains.

Thanks. It was a combination of watching all the films back on Blu Ray (apart from Batman and Robin) and watching the TDKR featurette about the history of the Batmobile. Oops! My apologies I had no idea they had merch rights I was just going by what WBTour said on twitter.

Its unlikely to be the 60s mobile by the way. The WB studio tour isn't even allowed to display any props or the car from the 60s show as they only have the rights to the blu ray/dvd release expected to hit this year du to that being the only thing their deal covered. So a 60s mobile seems out of reach for now. Yeah I guess it will probs be the tumbler but a tribute to cinematic Batman with all the vehicles of the films and all the allies and enemies from them would be frickin awesome. I mean imagine the Keaton mobile with shields feature, machine guns, afterburner, Forever mobile with rotating wheels, grappling hook e.t.c, Tumbler with batpod. That would be pretty awesome.

I just had a thought about the 75th anniversary Batman Exclusive. If its going to be lots of money like I think I heard £179.99 maybe it ties into the Batman WB exhibit and has all the bat vehicles from the movies with the Batmen,and with his villains and allies.Cause at WB they have the vehicles displayed with the costumes currently. Paying Tribute to all the movies would be fantastic. I mean who doesn't want Michael Keaton's Batmobile??! It could include: Keaton Mobile, Forever Mobile, Redbird, Batman and Robin Mobile, Batblade, Tumbler, Batpod. Then figure wise each Batman from each movie, Robin (forever), Batgirl (batman and robin), Alfred, Penguin (returns), Catwoman (Returns), Joker (1989), Riddler (forever),Two Face (forever), Mr Freeze (batman and robin) Poison Ivy (batman and robin), Scarecrow (Begins) ,Ras (neeson), Joker (TDK), Catwoman (TKR), Bane (Coat)(TDKR). Batmen Included would be 1989/Returns suit, Forever (silver suit, with night vision other side of face), Batman and Robin suit dark blue with silver accenting, Begins Suit, TDK suit but in Black. That would be good wouldn't it. Btw surprisingly looking it up Batman Forever's Silver Suit had no nipples, Batman and Robin's end fight suit didn't have any either. It was only the suits used for the majority of the 2 movies and forever's weren't even that noticeable batman and robin's on the other hand were...

If there is two shredders potentially in the movie as we have now seen oroku saki in the trailer then which shredder is this figure based off. It has no burnt face so i'd guess fitchner as the guy in the shadows in the trailer had a burnt face. I reckon fitchner wears the tech armour in the set, Oroku looks weak so maybe fitchner takes over the mantle of shredder at some point.I'd guess the Lego version is fitchner as he is white. Shame they cheaped out and like Loki gave him an existing head. Means he will only look good with the helmet. -

Just a piece of advice. Adding light grey hands to replace the gloves make the current palpatine look much better. Still I am going to get the book as I bought my palpatine on ebay as the death star wasn't possible back then and the shuttle I wasn't able to catch so having this one will be good even if I plan to get the deathstar as soon as I can.

It could be the batrocket from the game which the top detaches into the batwing. Maybe it would be Space Batman, Space robin, Green lantern and maybe a member of the game LOD as they are present in the level involving the rocket.

The thing i'm glad about is! Its taken countless years but finally we have a palpatine with the right skin colour, a smile, no gloves and a ROTJ accurate print. No doubt like the 2014 vader and 2012 Boba fett this is the best version of palpatine figure released and the definitive figure of the ROTJ appearance. So glad It is coming in the book. I know what I will be purchasing in sept!

The article states the doors fold out into wings. Considering the shape of the bat mobile and futuristic plane look of it in the B&W image of batman I would imagine it would work quite well like a few ships which can fly using wings disguised as other things. Nick fury's car does it well. I doubt It will transform physically into a jet. I reckon it will be a flying bat mobile with modes for ground and air Its a clever way for bats to keep up with his super powered friends. I reckon it's presence in the film and ground-air flexibility will yield some breath-taking scenes in the movie and great set if it is included in the Bat v supes line.

Yes that seems unlikely now. At least avengers 2 if nothing else will get some coverage. With the likes of Dr Strange and Black panther coming in the future I reckon we could get some quite interesting figures and sets for their movies. Even if USM line continues, they seem to have merged it with the avengers in the latest series which was on Disney XD yesterday. So maybe USM sets will become the norm for each year for the January wave and he summer and may waves may focus on the movies with the occasional comic based set for X-men etc.. Personally i'm hoping for a full wave of avengers 2 stuff like 6 sets and that those will give us some new variants of the avengers and new characters like scarlet witch, ultron, quicksilver, baron strucker and maybe MCU fury and hill.

rodiziorobs: This right here is why I said Disney were being a bit crafty and selfish trying to run Sony and Fox's films into the ground by neglecting to make merchandise based on their films hoping it will fail with rights they aren't even using nor need. Its just another scheme to stop anything marvel that's not Disney owned. Well sorry house of the mouse! Days of future past was a larger critical success than the winter soldier and spidey is still webbing in lots of cash around the world! Their movies may be fantastic but their morals on this issue are questionable to be certain. Its an interesting topic the process that makes sets and its cool to hear other people's thoughts on it! If they wanted to capitalise on movies of those characters then they shouldn't have sold them like they were nothing In the first place!
