  1. Do the rims stl comes with the instructions ? If so, has someone tried to print them using a SLA printer (Anycubic Photon, Elegoo Mars, Prusa SL1, ...), they should come way smoother with this kind of printer...in fact I'm considering buy one such printer just to print those rims :-)
  2. Seems to be a very (very) good part donor to assemble others Lamborghini and McLaren...someone already asked me to build Charbel's 720s in Lime Green (I may have to use custom Porsche rims for that one though) and I'll be checking if it's possible to build the Centenario in Lime green for myself too using a few sla-printed parts. Overall the model looks fantastic and Sariel's review is - as always - amazing :-)
  3. Am I the only one to think that the Sian will be a good part donor to assemble this amazing model in lime green :-)
  4. True indeed, but it is also true that the front end is quite flimsy in itself
  5. Nearly finished mine as there was a missing liftarm (2 x 4 L-Shape Thick in Dark Blue) and Lego don't seem to have any stock...and since 42083 is the first set it appears in, I'm doomed :-) Other than that, the build is really enjoyable, the gearbox works great, the engine is as expected : massive...and not too complicated. There are a lot of clever solutions but it really misse 1/ a piece 2/ a central diff 3/ stiffer springs 4/ more printed pieces :-) Other than that, for those living in France, my copy is on display at Joué Club Chauray (79).
  6. Black rims are for common people, not for the one able to afford such a car :-)
  7. @agrof Regarding the rims and the overall color scheme of the car, it is the presentation livery of the Bugatti Chiron back in Geneva 2016 ;-)
  8. @Saberwing40k in PvdB's Koenigsegg the dashboard shifters add quite a lot of complexity and are not all that reliable ;-)
  9. Paddles on the Chiron are actually pretty small and are attached to the streering wheel whereas in the Porsche, they are immediately obvious... Furthermore : the Chiron is all about absolute power and absolute luxury whereas the GT3 RS is supposed to be a very spartan car lego technic human actuated paddles do require quite a bit of a leverage (or travel) to work properly, so I don't think it would have been possible to have both paddles and a nice cockpit...PvdB's Koenigsegg One:1 has small paddles, but they are definitely not intended for humans :-)
  10. According to Anio on TechLug, it has a sequential gearbox with a lot of gears :-)
  11. Not really lego...but gears...oh boy...gears !
  12. I don't think that car was ever produced in red but that would sure be a nice one :-) Someone wanted to buy mine...but when I mentionned the price...all of a sudden that person was not interested in buying it anymore xD
  13. The overall build experience is far less enjoyable than the "modular" approach used on the arocs in my opinion. Mecanically, though it has no (spring) suspension nor a complicated crane, it is still very mecanically enjoyable :-)
  14. Got one at a (closing) local toy shop for 185€ which seems fair given the complexity of the gearbox, the tyres and the power functions :-) (and as it has been pointed by others non-numbered bags kinda sucks, as you can't easily pace yourself without having a dedicated build area)
  15. Hi folks LEPIN has stole this model and paid instructions...I don't know what can be done about it :-/
  16. Got mine today...I've already built it...it's nothing short of amazing...it will be on display at Joué Club Chauray (79, France) very soon...this toy store will also have 2 of them in stock on june 9th and will be priced at €115...needless to say I've already reserved on of them :D
  17. Light in Babylon...a very cosmopolitan group...they live in Istanbul...but she's israeli (with iranian origins), the santour player is turkish while the guitar player is french...and she sings in hebrew most of the time
  18. As it seems to be held using a long (tan) technic pin, I doubt it serves any real purpose other than looking cool ;-)
  19. @kbalage these are wheels, more specificly : they are Wheel 18 x 14 with Pin Hole, Fake Bolts and Shallow Spokes and they seems to be there just for cosmetic purpose, to mimick real "beefy" shocks ;-)
  20. It has suspensions too, as we can clearly distinguish a yellow shock absorber.
  21. Maybe the 42070 reference stands for the 40th anniversary hommage supercar, which could easily be towed by this massive tow truck
