  1. Looks to me that the 42000 wheels would be aproxamitely the same diameter as the porsche wheels, and yes I mean wheels, not just rims or tires Maybe a bit skinnier (width) *not a bit a lot
  2. I think you're a bit late to the party m8, might wanna read back a little and reconsider...
  3. Ye but no harm in having it twice it's fine Actually didn't watch the first time so thanks I guess, btw jim does this not count as a review? Or is the embargo just down the toilet?
  4. You could call it excessive because 2tv could be written as tvtv and 2 TVs seems a bit excessive if you ask me...
  5. Yes I'm on mobile so I can't access the sarcasm emoji ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. You should just set your clock so that june 1st is now and you can tell lego that your clock said it was june 1st and oops well the review is up already oh well sorry
  7. No the whole name is "test no. 1- Bob" not just Bob. But just bob is fine too I guess
  8. But what do you mean by articulated? there are multiple different kinds of articulation. Maybe you could draw a diagram of what you want? Do you mean like the 42038?
  9. What do you mean by articulated then? Like do you mean steered, or like, have the tracks themselves bend, or have 2 sets of tracks instead of wheels, with a body like the 42049?
  10. Do you mean like all one piece, like the 42049 mine loader?
  11. You should make it into the luggabeast!
  12. So, can someone really clarify what the issue with the gearbox is? I've heard it doesn't shift, and it doesn't spin in low gears, but does that mean in low gears the engine doesn't turn when the car rolls, or when it's in low gears the car can't roll? I'm just kind of confused with the specifics.
  13. where'd you find it? either way I saved it just in case...
  14. Ye I've made a few before I Joined, and just haven't taken the time to post them. They're on my youtube tho, if you wanna see, maybe get some inspiration or somethin...
  15. Looks great, awesome video! But I was wondering, you seemed to almost only go downhill in the video, did you have problems with torque gearing the motors up that much with the large wheels? I've made cars driven by 2 XLs at that ratio with smaller tires and they have problems going. Or maybe my batteries were low... Either way awesome creation! Definetely revisiting the baja genre when I get some unimog tires!
  16. Lego catalog came in the mail today, had a big 2 page thing on the porsche. Probably no new info, but thought I'd share anyway Also for @desert752 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw3xDAPnR3sbQ0xaNHRpdGotY00
  17. I think it also might have to do with the fact that the studded beams have half a stud extra length, so building some things like joints and stuff just weren't very intuitive. It was just wierd geometry. Also I think the last set to use studded beams that I can think of was actually 42030
  18. Awesome model, but I'm pulling my hair out over that piece under the left headlight that's not all the way on!!!
  19. Wow that actually looks cool! That's nice, considering the 2 previous close ups kind of made me want to vomit...
  20. My only problem with these things in the past is just the plastic quality, sometimes they look ugly, or are deformed or are just the wrong size or shape. If you can get one for really cheap, then I guess go for it, it's your money, but just be wary of these things...
  21. @sariel the release day is coming up, so just wondering, maybe you could show it in the review or a seperate vid or something, can the power puller tires fit on these rims? Or vice versa, just curious, would suck if these rims are basically obsolete...
  22. I thought the trophy truck trend was dead for a while, glad to see it still alove and well!
