  1. That would be totally amazing, Pirate Pete! If the information on that all three TRU options will be released was right, I bet that we'll get a City Square as a City Exclusive next year. And it might include a Lego Store. As for an amusement park, Legoland (esp. Miniland)or fair: I don't see these happening as regular themes/sets. But TLG might release them as Exclusives in the following years - hopefully. And apart from that nobody knows; we didn't expect a Farm theme - so there might be a fair or Legoland theme in the future although we doubt it. But for 2011 I bet we'll see: - January: police theme (new police hq, new police car, new prison car, police boat) - February: TV helicopter with car - March: sheep grazing land or horse stable - April: mountain rescue theme (resq hq, resq heli, resq pick-up) or hospital theme (hospital, rescue heli, ambulance, doctor's car) - June: yacht - July: harbor theme (new cargo harbor, new container stacker), a new City Corner or a bank and a new garbage truck - Exclusives: City Square (Lego Store, cafe, hotel) and winter candy shop Since the Truck Stop seems not to be released, I could well imagine TLG to release a new City Corner in 2011 with a small gas station, a grocery or a post office, a delivery van or a post van and a small civilian car. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  2. Here is not a new but an official picture of 8404 from whung's BS gallery: Klaus-Dieter
  3. Thank you very much for this link, Rick! I really that new female City minifigure! But having to pay 10 Euros for it is too much. So I really hope that she will appear in a City set next year. Klaus-Dieter
  4. Thanks, MattTheLegoman. And welcome to EB! Thanks, Batbrick. Normally I'm not that good in designing carriages, too. But looking at several pictures of stage coaches on the web during building it wasn't that difficult - but nevertheless did take a lot of time. Klaus-Dieter
  5. That's a very nice MOC, Tom Bricks! I really like it! The house looks great and the landscape does so, too. The only thing I miss are some more minifigs and accessory. Well done! Klaus-Dieter
  6. Thank you very much for this link, AllanSmith! The interior of the TRU looks that lovely - with so many toys and even shelves on which they are displayed! I really like that brick-built hovercraft - excellent design. I can't await to get this set! Klaus-Dieter
  7. I bet that there'll be an interior in the cockpit (like it was in the UCS MF, too), Nobrux. But there surely will be no interior in the rest of the shuttle. Btw: If there is another exclusive SW set this year, I bet that it'll be shown at ComicCon, don't you think? As for a Cloud City: I highly doubt it. If it's again "only" 150 Euros it'll be a quite bad set with only one big room and only very few minifigs and without Cloud Car. So it would have to be minimum 250-260 Euros (like 10212) to be decent. I could more imagine a new Hoth Base since it would offer the last missing location, vehicles and minifigs we need for Hoth. After that our Hoth dioramas would be finished. Klaus-Dieter
  8. I totally agree with you that a winter train station would be a nice addition to 10199 and 10216, lightningtiger! But the holiday train was released some years ago. And so many people surely don't own it (e. g. I missed to buy it). Plus with the new locomotive wheels and pieces (from 10194) TLG could design a much better holiday train to which even a PF train motor could be added that you can really run it. So I bet and hope that either TLG will release a really, really big set with holiday train and winter train station together or they will firstly release a new holiday train and then a winter train station. Klaus-Dieter
  9. It bet that there won't be any regular train sets sold in 2011. But I could well imagine that the 90 Euros set that appeared this and last year (10194 Emerald Night and 10213 Space Shuttle) could well be again a train set in 2011. Imo the most likely is a new engine shed - similar to the exclusive awesome 10027 from 2003 - but perhaps and hopefully this time in a modern architectual style. Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for this great review, Matt Dawson! This set is surely outstanding  since it includes everything a decent level crossing set needs: the level crossing itself and a small vehicle. I personally would have prefered it to come with a civilian car. But of course this set is mainly orientated to kids - so there should better be an excavator included - and the excavator looks really good. I really like it that it isn't set on a baseplate. So you can add some more plates in the middle in in this way get a level crossing for two tracks. Good solution! One additional pro is that this set is only very small, doesn't include any more trackside sturctures and is therefore even not that expensive. So you can much easier buy some more of this set if you need several train level crossings for your city. Klaus-Dieter
  11. If there'll be some new police sets for City (and that is highly likely), I hope that TLG will add car doors to all of the new vehicles. In 7848 there now come blue car doors which could well be used for police cars, too. And I hope we'll get a better prison transporter and a new small police car seperately. At least a new prison transporter is very likely since the current one was firstly released in 2005. For a new Winter set I could well imagine either a candy shop or a winter train station or a new winter train. Klaus-Dieter
  12. I totally agree with you, hewman! Of course there will be some of these oversized croissants be included. And I wouldn't be surprised if we saw baguettes, too. As a printed tile I could see some gingerbread very well. The thing I wonder is whether there'll be again some upper room or only one floor (I mean: The architectual style surely will be a bit different to 10199) and what in a possible upper floor would be included (a bed? a writing table?). What do you think? As for the minifigs I hope that there'll be again a lot of minifigs included. Surely there will be a baker included. Some women and kids would be great, too, and are imo highly likely. (Since in 10199 there were some skiers) Hopefully there'll come some snowboarders with this set! Klaus-Dieter
  13. Thanks, lightningtiger. I'm glad to hear that you like the building very much, too. The roof above the "balcony" was a tricky work since I didn't want to use those hinge elements (which were used for the roofs in the cars til the mid-ninetees) which are no longer produced by TLG. Klaus-Dieter
  14. Thank you very much for this information, grogall! Are these prices only the prices for TRU or even for S@H? And will these two sets be available since the 28th even on S@H? If not, do you know when they will appear on S@H? 8404: 99,99 Euros 100 Euros for this set is really expensive. Of course there are four vehicles and two of them are even very big - but the roadside structures are below average and there are much too few minifigs. 7848: 29,99 Euros 30 Euros is imo a good price ratio performance for this set. 30 Euros for 3221 is really overpriced (luckily I got mine for 20 Euros). But since we get one more minifig, a small TRU store and even some nice toys in 7848, 30 Euros is really ok. Klaus-Dieter
  15. Thanks, BrickClick. The Western sets of 1996/97 are really there money worth - esp. when you get the opportunity to buy them used but in a nearly new condition. Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thanks, BrickClick. If TLG released it (or something similar to this my MOC), I of course would of course buy it, too! A post office and a stagecoach were - together with a train, a train station and a saloon - the things which I missed the most in the Western theme from 1996/97. The reason why I chose yellow as color for the post office were two: 1. Post and yellow color belong together in many countries - still today. 2. I want to design more Western buildings in order to get a whole small LDD Western Village. But if nearly all buildings have the same color, it would like quite boring, don't you think? Thanks, the Inventor. It's always one of my big requests to have a decent interior in buildings. Thanks, Apache. The next days I'll try to convert the stagecoach into regular LDD (I built it in Universe mode - so there are surely some bricks which aren't available in regular LDD - e. g. the horses) and then post a link to my "design by me gallery" here (since it seems as if the Creator gallery can only be entered by logging in). Thanks, TheBrickster. Yes, the stage coach ... it took me nearly half a day til I had the design finished you can see now. But I must say that I'm quite content with it, too. The train doors aren't perfect - but they do their duty. Klaus-Dieter
  17. I did expect this since only one Exclusive in one year would be uncommon (at least in comparison to the last years). But nevertheless it's good to now have confirmation - thank you very much, KimT! So the next two questions are: Will there only be some more accessory (keychains, magnet sets, books etc.) or even a real set? Will this set be an OT Exclusive or a PT/CW Exclusive? Since the IS is already an UCS set, I think it's highly likely that if we got another until now not known set it'll be a regular play set. Klaus-Dieter
  18. Ok. But it's allowed to talk about the size of the set, isn't it? Do you think that it'll be about the same size (and so will even include about the same number of minifigs, accessory and houses) like 10199? Klaus-Dieter
  19. Interesting surevey! I completed the survey. Good luck! Klaus-Dieter
  20. I totally agree with you, Cardinal Brick! After a bakery then there should be a candy shop, a hotel, a small church and a family house. Those microfigs are still too big. And I even highly doubt it that we will get minifig gingerbread. But perhaps regular gingerbread (flat dark brown 1x2 plates). Pretzels would be amazing! Do you think that there'll be a vehicle included? I really would like to get a modern styled snow mower. Klaus-Dieter
  21. Do you think that the inside of the cockpit of this AT-AT will be exactly the same like the one of the motorized version? Or do you think that Veers gets an extra screen? Sorry guys, I mixed up the 1 with the two. I corrected it: Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for these pics, whung! About the Mid-Scale ISD: I don't like it. But that doesn't say much since I even don't like the Mid-Scale MF. Imo those sets which don't go with the regular sets are imo useless. About the UCS Imperial Shuttle: It's design seems to look perfectly. It's only really a pity that TLG decided to build it as an UCS set and not a regular set (since we haven't had an Imp. Shuttle for years and the version TLG offered before wasn't that good (no gangway))! About the AT-AT: Nothing new here. My final judgement depends on whether we'll get a General Veers with correct torso (which I highly doubt) or again a false General Veers (like in the last AT-AT version). Btw: Exclusive set number 10215 is already left (between 10214 Tower Bridge and 10216 Winter Village Bakery). Do you think that there'll be another SW Exclusive? Klaus-Dieter
  23. Thank you very much for this pic, whung! 7848 is a beautiful set! I don't care that much about the truck - although it's of course very well designed and the colors are much more appealing than in 3221. The big plus this set gets is because of the small TRU shop. Of course it's only very small. But its design is very realistic. And that it is placed on a 16x8 baseplate makes it going very well with all the other City sets of this and last year. And for the accessory you get a huge scope of toys: two Lego sets, weapons (for carnival), a teddy bear and a RC car. What do you want more?! And the minifigure constellation is perfect: one man, one woman and one kid. The only point I have to criticise is that the cash point is set much to low (it must be set on two bricks on top of each other and not only on one brick - the saleswoman will get backaches very soon). But otherwise it's perfect and I can't wait to (hopefully) get it! Some pages ago legomilk mentioned that 8404 as well as 7848 will be sold via TRU and S@H. The only question is 1. whether this set will be available in every country and 2. whether it will everywhere where it is sold be available via TRU and S@H - or only via TRU. Thank you very much for this information, grogall! So I hope these two sets will be available from S@H up from the 10th of July, too (since I only order via S@H). Klaus-Dieter
  24. Thank you very much for this information, whung! I must admit that I don't like that since I don't like the ship: 1. Brick-built ships in this size look bad (like if a kid would have built them). 2. It doesn't include any interior. 3. It doesn't go in scale with the regular City sets. Imo TLG should release a new cargo ship and ships in general (even a pleasure cruiser, a yacht, a yacht harbor, ...) - but which go well in scale and style with the other City sets. Klaus-Dieter
  25. Thank you very much for this information, EDGE! That sounds great! A winter bakery in addition to the 10199 Winter Toy Shop is a great possibility to build up a whole winter village! Of course it'll be City and not Kingdoms/Castle. I'm only a bit confused about its price: about 115 Dollars would mean about two times that expensive than 10199. Could this mean that there'll be more inlcuded than only the bakery (vehicles, another house)? Klaus-Dieter
